[Q] playing videos on sensation

I'm very confused about how to play videos on the phone. As I understand it, the phone will play x264 files encoded into mp4.
I've encoded a file using handbrake, into 800x400 video but the phone won't play it using gallery.
Any pointers?
Try a external player dice player or mobo player.

No..sorry you can't. Video resolution up to 320*240 plays well. 640*480 lags very badly:banghead:

I like BSPlayer. It seems to work well.
I think that 50 fps are over 30 fps max of HW video decoder capabilities.
Also i suspect a very high bitrate from a video camera file...
I don't think that you will be able to play it smoothly with any software.
I have Mobo, MX and BSplayer. Absolutely BSplayer does the best job. If it doesn't play your video, nothing will. You may have to re-encode with Handbrake.
Just tried the BSPlayer, you are right, it plays everything even files that the Mobo couldn't, thanx a lot for the tip!

Hey there, please install a codec first. If it is not shown when it is your first time boot, try the ARM-7 codec version or try another video players that supports HD video.
I try all 3 players real player works better than others. But still some lags i think my hardware is not enough to play 1080p videos.
But thanx all for helping.
