When I click on the factory rest ... Shows the message
this build is for development purposes only do not distribute outside htc with out htc write permission failure to comply my lead to legal action
I get that too after I flashed a recovery .

So I'm not really familiar with this stuff but I think I know whats wrong with my phone but I need you guys to link the files for me because I can't find them on google.
So here's the problem, I want to factory reset my htc one x or xl but it's not working.. oh and im not sure if its an htc one x or xl but I can tell you that its from Rogers. Now I think the reason why I can't factory reset my phone is because the recovery file or rom is corrupted or something and when I try to factory reset from the boot loader it says: this build is for developping purpose only in red text below the htc screen and it just get stuck and turn on and off repeatedly until I hold power + volume down again, select power off and reboot it so really turn it back on..
Can you guys help me please?

Hi, I'm still rather new to this and I was trying to root my HTC desire 600c . When I went to start up my phone is gets stuck on the screen with htc's brand name and below it in red text it says "this build is for development purposes only do not distridute outside of htc without htc's written permission. failure to comply may lead to legal action".
when it first did this i thought it would just take awhile to load, i waited for 30 minutes.
I've tried many things:
clearing all caches
redoing the rooting process in the above url
redownloading the files, double checking everything
factory reset. Please help me guys.

Hello there xda developers i have Htc First and this is the problem i am facing right now.
When i try to turn on it boots up but stuck at f logo saying "this build is for development purposes only. Do not distribute outside of HTC without HTC's written permission. Failure to comply may lead to legal action"
Any help would be appreciated
