If this was a problem posted on one of the device-specific forums and it was a major bug with a Custom ROM then it might be almost understandable, but just because a widget looks wrong

OP, it's easier to test them for yourself for a couple of reasons.
1. Rather than waiting for someone else, you'll have any questions you have, instantly answered.
2. Your opinion can quite easily differ from someone else's so, if someone was to test them for you, they may like them whereas you might not.
Also, I completely agree with what SimonTS said and I suggest that you pay attention to it, as it'll help you out around here.

Just try downloading InfinityRom 12/04 and then go into the theme section and download the ICS theme that works with that ROM..i know there is one in there (this is it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1331598)...update to a new rom and a new ICS theme

The thread has been deleted now, but there was a thread where we were all telling him he was running the wrong rom to use the theme he wanted, telling him what he needed to run, and he was cussing at us and telling us that no one was telling him what he needed to know. It was entertaining for a bit, then it got sad. I'm still not convinced that he's not an elaborate troll, because there's no way anyone can be that thick.

Running sunRise theme ... wonder if there is a mod out there that i can update via recovery to change only the battery lightning bolt to percentage ?

No worries. You will find many peoples ready to pounce when you do wrong. Some will do it lovingly, pointing you in the right direction....maybe even answering your question in the process. Most will publicly flog you and offer no help other than telling you you are wrong. It's just how it works around here.
My advice...don't be afraid to ask questions...just work on posting in the right forums. The q&a is a good place to start. Develop a thick skin. And lastly, no need to apologize for wanting help...just use the search function (which does not always find what you are looking for), look in the proper forums, and read read read.
ZEUS is a great ROM, you can view the themes thread,it may help.

Launcher should not be an issue. If you want one that's small and quick, use Zeam. I use Go Launcher Ex and have no lag issues.

Using SwiftKey X to type this. It might be faster if I could get used to it, but I do enjoy the Swype-like keyboards. This feels too much like cheating, which means it must be pretty good. Ok, I'm getting to good at it already,. Time to quit.

I have had many PM's on who they should contact to remove him. This is for all that want the same to happen. You have the right to feel as you do and I also have the same right. Maybe you can set a time limit for the test version. You know, if you ask for money and your app breaks someone's device, you have to pay for it (in most cases).

If i were guessing, I would say the average age on here is probably in the 16-24 range. You're just going to get a lot of that type stuff on here. I know it gets a little tedious, but just sift through it as best you can. There's a ton of good info on here.
