I had to do some tweakings to the phone (fixing imei numbers and SMSC) and all that works just fine. The problem I have now is that I can't use 3G network.
I live in Argentina and my carrier is Movistar.
All I could find is that maybe the baseband is wrong (I checked before purchasing the phone and they seemed right) so I have to change it.
I had 3G with my previous phone, a Xperia X8 with minicm9.
If there is any information you need to adress properly the problem, I'll be glad to give it.

hello i've been busting my head all night and today to find a solution to my problem.
let's start with that, i've got unbranded Chinese smartphone
the main problem i've been having was the RTL alignment on hebrew inerfaces such as SMS, emails etc. (by rtl alignment i mean for example:
if the text will contain a word such as "hello" it will be shown as "olleh", of course the problem is only in hebrew language as i'm just giving an easy example)
at first i successfully rooted the machine.
a program called AndroidRTLPatcher that fixes the problem required me to deodex the os. so i deodexed using xultimate successfully.
then i used AndroidRTLPatcher, finished the patching. then had to reboot and waited for about 20 mins for the system to boot up but it got stucked on the logo screen since then.
been trying to use sp flash tool using bruno's guide
as resetting to factory through phone's recovery interface didn't fix the problem.
sp flash tool didn't work well as i got an error: EBOOT ERROR: (16008)
bruno said to fix the problem you need to do rom dump via a tutorial he linked on the guide
i tried to install many roms that comptatible to mt6573 but when i chose in the recovery mode "update from sd" i got the error message:
E: signature verification failed
hope i managed to explain myself well and didn't break any forum rules as i couldn't find anything related to the phone model i have.
if you need more info or photos please inform me.
atm i can't post links as i'm a newb in this site i'll try another way to post the links

I didn't like the ROM, so I tried to flash one I downloaded from here on this site. According to Smart Phone Flash Tool, I have a MT6580 chip set. I first flashed a ROM and it didn't even turn on. I downloaded another ROM and now it turns on, but I can't use my touch screen. I've read that I need the stock ROM to fix this. I can't find the stock ROM. Any help would be greatly appreciated
