Im running HexGore Stock plus 1.4 and cannot get this specific app to work. Has anybody gotten SongPop to work on there devices? Is this an ICS only downloadable app? Anyone with info please post thank you.

That has something to do with the screensize of teh ChaCha... The playstore says Android 2.2 and up. Tried it on my Galaxy mini, didn't work, but it works on my GF's Galaxy Gio... Maybe you just need to download the APK and try... Unavailable in the market shouldn't stop you... Make sure you download the free versions APK... Software piracy is also theft...

Hi there, one of my friend has a HTC desire and a HTC sensation, and both comes with a stock ROM that includes a program called "task manager". I'm wondering why my desire s does not comes with that? Do I need to download from HTC website by myself? My friend told me that the program is from HTC and it is include even in stock ROM. Please help.
you can get it from somecustom ROMs such as LBC MOD, Virtuous Unity...
Download the ROM from Desire S Android Development sub-forum, unzip it and get the taskmanager.apk from system/app, copy it to your phone with stock rom and install it.

Thanks!, but will it mess up my phone? since I'm not using any custom ROMs and it is still S-ON. Will it work like it should? Thanks
edit: I tried installing on my desire s, the installation was successful, but once I open it, it forced close on me. Any idea?

Please can someone tell me what the most recent version of Android can go on an official HTC Hero. There appear to be no furthe rupdates from my network and I wonder whether the upgrade can be done myself.
From what I can tell, there are a few 2.3 gingerbread ports available for the hero.

What's a port? Sorry but I'm new at upgrading.
Since gingerbread isn't made naturally for the hero, they stopped pushing updates out after 2.2, a port takes the 2.3 build and makes it available for the hardware of the Hero. You would have to root and be able to install custom ROM's, then download the ROM and flash it with either clockworkmod or amen-ra.

I assume it is a hero for sprint (cdma)? If so, head on over to that forum. If not, head to the gsm forum. There are a few of us still hanging on to our cdma heros. Send me a pm if you have any questions about rooting which, as stated by others, you will have to do to update your android version.... Good luck.
I want to download Google Earth on Market, but it says that my HTC Sensation is not compatible, anyone tried it? whats wrong with sensation, it has everything that other devices have, so whats the problem? and could anyone give me APK to try and install it?

I actually a topic very similar to this, however it covered many more applications that I would normally obtain without issues. I'm rooted running bricked kernel.
I just don't recall this issue in the past nor is it a problem in the developers thread.
So I'm in the same situation as you however I can install google earth.
I found solution, it seems it isn't available in my country, with market enabler and old Market I managed to download it...
Hello people of xda developers, I need some help here. I have a HTC Sensation with beats and it was bought on a Chinese website called Taobao that is something like ebay and I believe I think that this phone is rooted but I want to unroot it.
After holding down the power and volume down button it displays the following information:

cMMC-BOOT
When it was bought it came with a few pre-installed softwares and also a custom Marketplace that is Chinese even though the phone is in English.
There aren't Google Play and the phone can't update it's software. Someone please help me and if there are any steps that I have to follow please keep it simple. Thanks guys!

I would try ADB-ing it to unlock. I'm not quite sure what you're trying to figure out...

I downloaded the play store using your link but it keeps crashing.
I have a HTC gratia with some problems(Contacts app crashing). I want to reinstall the OS but I can't find it anywhere except Needrom. This requires a premium account. Can someone with a premium account on it download the ROM for me? Cheers!

I'm sorry but Gratia is 11 years old and there isn't much support for that on XDA. I hope someone has an account on needrom.com to help you though
