I just posted in the Dev section. I know cross-posting is frowned upon, but I want to make sure this is seen by the people who need to see it.
Could be very useful for XDA Devs working on Transformers.
I just received my new TF700, and it still has a ton of Dev stuff on it.
The Build Number is identified as
OPEN_epad-eng 4.0.3 IML74K OPEN_epad-9.0.4.104.15-20120618 test-keys
See the other thread, and discuss there.

First of all if you want to "jailbreak" something I would suggest you buy an iphone; g1' get rooted. Second of all if you post in the right section you have a better chance of not gettinh flamed. Thirdly if you spend some time reading current/old posts you can get other peoples opinions on each rom. Flash and see how each rom works for you.....not all g1's react to the same rom the same way. Put some effort into it and you will be suprised how much more you learn. Good luck
Start asking your questions in the right sub-forum (Q&A) (Theme) or even in (General), or simply search.......Final result will be a ban for you up too 3 days.
Thanks
Thread Trashed!!
OK yes yes, we know the ICS sources are being uploaded right now. Ref: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/android-building/T4XZJCZnqF8
Please don't make a zillion threads telling us.
kthx
I have duplicated the above across a number of device forums in dev and general. I'd normally say beforehand, but makes sense to get in before the rush.
Please remove them when the time comes

Have they released CM10.1 for this device yet? Will they? And how close to 4.2.2 is Paranoid Android? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1962953

Rule 2 never ask ETA but yes it thomas.raines is hard at work looks like he is on to something this time will find out really soon and by the way there is a active post about this so ......
I never asked for an ETA, I was asking how close, as in similarity.

Seriously? Then why didn't you ask "how close to 4.2.2 is 4.1.2?" if that is what you were trying to ask? That would have made more sense if you were looking for similarity. But then why even ask about CM 10.1?
I'm sorry, most normal people can use the word "like" in more than one way. I asked about Cm 10.1 because I wanted to know if it was out, and then I asked what the difference between the two, Paranoid Droid, and 4.2.2 were. I'm so sorry if you weren't able to cope with the fact that I asked two questions. Two questions, that have already been answered. Good day sir.

Well to answer both different questions, CM10.1 still isn't out yet, but the devs are making progress. We only need a working kernel - and at last check surfaceflinger is the main issue (see CM 10.1 thread).
Since PA is based on CM 10 (4.1.2) it's very similar to all flavors of 4.1.2 - which doesn't have anything from 4.2 in it (PA allows you to customize pixel density on a per app basis). The main difference between CM 10 and PA is that CM is official and gets nightlies (really more like weeklies) updates - none of which really adds anything. It's my understanding that the nightlies only fix issues related to specific devices (based on the changelogs). Seems though that some builds are more stable than others. Thomas has EOL'd PA 4.1.2 to concentrate on getting the 4.2 kernel working.
A good article detailing some of the differences between 4.1.2 and 4.2 can be found here. http://developer.android.com/about/versions/jelly-bean.html
Since the question has been answered I'll be closing this.
So iv'e recently been working on a custom version of CM-11.0, and was wondering where the appropriate place to ask for testers is? I figured id ask here and get a honest answer, then get a million people telling me that i posted in the wrong area.

Android development or the developer discussion thread I'd assume.

Android Development is for users/devs "re-works" of Stable ROMs; I would assume this is mostly for Nightly's and not too many fully stable ROMs. Original Android Development is for original ROM devs to post stable releases. I was confused with this at first as well, however after digging I've found both in both places. I would recommend you post it in Android Development as well.
