There is a security risk in Android,
USSD-Codes can be sent to your phone, while on a manipulated website,
the result can be e.g. a factory reset, 3 times sending a wrong simcard pincode, ...
I upladed a patch to fix this, it can be found at:

Installation Instructions:
Step 1 -> Unlock HTC One S Bootloader:
- follow Step 1 at this guide to unlock your bootloader
Step 2 -> Flash Recovery:
- download TWRP 2.X or CWM-Recovery
- reboot into fastboot and flash the recovery, command:

- download the SuperSu flashable zip, can be found at the buttom of the post

Step 4 -> before installation:
if you are using Non-Wipe-Installation or customizing the Rom go to:

you have to deinstall these apps:
- GMail (Play-Store Version)
- Google-Translate (Play-Store Version)

Full-Wipe is required, if you came from a:
- non CM9 based Rom
Full-Wipe is recommend, if you came from a:
- CM9 based Custom Rom, e.g. AOKP, Paranoid Android, ...
you can do a Non-Wipe if you came from an:
- Unofficial CM9 Build, e.g. xconni`s Unoffical CM9 Build
Step 5 -> Flash the Rom:
Full-Wipe Installation:
-as a Full-Wipe Installation isn`t working, you have to update from an installed CM9-Rom,
I recommend an Unofficial Build, (btw. you can still try with a CM9-Custom Rom)
Boot Image:
as the One-S doesn`t have S-Off, you have to flash the boot.img (can be found in the Rom zip)

I like the new data connection icon... The red theme is not quite my type, so I guess I will keep the "stock AOPK Style" which I prefer the most anyways...

try the blue theme, it`s stock look with a little customization, e.g. data connection icon,
everytime I change the Theme with Theme chooser, my statusbar will disapear, (the icons and clock),
as far as i know, it`s a known problem with theme chooser

anyone can confirm any bugs taht effect the dayli use of the phone ?
Tried it for a day, and works perfectly fine. Same issues as CM9 related to the camera etc, but otherwise no problems whatsoever. You can consider it as CM9 with latest commits included + some extras like dark apps etc. Happy to keep it for a while.

It is not in the settings but you can switch through the notification bar's widgets. Tried it and it is working.

Had 2G problems as well, but since I updated to the latest radio/baseband, the problem is gone.

Okay, I have tried again, and currently, it works ... OKay I have wroten that and the download stoped!
My connection is correct, because I can download all other roms, but not yours :/

Rom Installation Steps:
- Enter recovery (press volume down then - keeping it pressed - press power button) and make all the WIPES available, with the procedure you like the most.
- After WIPES have been done, use Fakeflash to install ROM file on your SD card.
- THOSE WHO DOWNLOADED OLD APP2SD, do continue to install the file without wipe after ROM installation.
- After installation procedure is over, reboot your phone (first reboot will take some time to complete (like 5mins?), do nothing meanwhile and do not off your phone).
- After first boot, complete first time phone configuration and YAY!!! you got your sense with Expresso style running...

You can simply replace htc and android frameworks in your rom.

Why another ROM?
- No special reason. I was sticking to MDJ's v1.4 CM7 build but it was stuck for more than a month. So I took the latest CM7 nighty stable enough for me, added my default extras and share it for you.
- CM7 nighties are missing some very popular features, like Lord Clockan's kernel by default, Miui Camera, gapps with camera support, etc. Consider this ROM a little time saver for you.
- This is my first ROM, and I wanted to learn in the process of making one.
I'm happy with CM7, and I can flash the extras myself, should I try your ROM?
At this moment this ROM provides only a standard CM7 nightly with some extras preinstalled and some tweaks at boot. If you are happy with your CM7 and flashing the kernel yourself, then stick with it! This ROM is only a timesaver for those installing for the first time.
You can also get some other night build or CM variant, and apply alternative AlienMod over it to get almost all the tweaks

RIL: Default for newest CM7 (2.2.018G, Mar 24 2011)
I do not recommend to change RIL. Yes, I know G-RILs aren't listed on official radio thread, but HM aren't supposed to AOSP ROMs... Believe this is what you need.
Recommended radio: None! CM7 team recommends 26.04.02.17 but I'm using 26.09.04.11 with great results. So test yourself.
Battery draining: None! at least with the default apps. 3-4 ma on standby

Instructions:
- Nandroid backup!!!
- Coming from other ROM / CM flavor? Full Wipe using ext4 (recommended, use Full Wipe v1.5 Ext4) or at least format /system + /cache + clean dalvik cache with an ext4 capable recovery.
- Coming from v1.x ? No need to full wipe.
- Flash with ClockworkMod (better with v3.0.2.8 ext4).
- Wait until "Done!"
- Use Advanced -> FIX PERMISSIONS Just in case...
- Reboot!
- Mandatory: Go to settings -> CyanogenMod Settings -> Performance -> CPU Settings -> Max CPU frequency and tune your maximum value

To get some more battery savings there's a custom puv script (thx to killersloth) included. Works for me and lots of people, but could hang your phone. Just launch Terminal.apk and run:

I have the same problem. I have the ClockworkMod Recovery 3.2.0.0, make a full wipe (whit full wipe 1.4), also tried a manual full wipe, but it also stucks at HTC logo.

Do manual format from within CWM of /system to ext4, that's my usual way of installing

3. Before apply the theme go to Settings>Applications>Development>Stop app via long-press to ON
4. Open Theme Chooser and apply the theme
5. Press Home button to return on home screen (on this stage you have your theme applied without icons)
6. Keep pressed return key to restart the Launcher
7. You're done

For everyone who wants to use MIUI Lockscreens:
1. go to PlayStore and install MiLocker, also you can find Magic Locker with these lockscreens and support xavierjohn22 for his work, has more options and i believe is more stable (the reason i dont use: install one app for every lockscreen that you download, if you are not a lockscreen fanatic USE this one)
2. after install press Home button and choose MiLocker as default home, like you do when you have multiple launchers
3. visit the thread dedicated to MIUI Lockscreens HERE
3. download your favorite lockscreen and place it in sdcard/MIUI/THEME (create the folders if you dont have it)
4. open MiLocker app choose one of the downloaded lockscreen and apply.
NOTE:
- lockscreens which has music control and weather should work just fine;
- for weather to be display on the lockscreen read the information provided on the lockscreen thread, some of them requires 9s Weather Advance or others aditional app or widgets from the market
- remember that it is possible not all the lockscreen to look exactly, this is not miui, but al least you can use a feature which i missed a lot since i port this rom, the good thing is that it use the same mtz and zip file like in miui.

Hi,
chinese characters are only few on the keyboard (will be replaced soon with other keyboard) and in Settings>System>Notification Settings try to translate it in future release. If you already tried LewaOS and JoyOS you have to test it and found out.

cm7 themes with Theme Chooser is compatible!
you have to restart the launcher after you apply one theme for the theme to be completed applied, the only part that it doesnt apply are icons.
I'll be add soon in the OP some themes directly from MFUNZ forum.

That's strange, because i flash this rom a couple of times before post it here. You have this issue with stock hboot? Also did you make a full wipe(system, data, dalvik cache...)?

For titanium backup i have no ideea, i dont use this app, not either on miui i havent use it; will make some test on this or maybe some others will report if is working or not.

Glad you manage to solve your problem. About recovery i havent said that is working only with RMD Recovery, this is what i use.

I do not think so as it is a bug in the aokp port on which this rom is based.

If it works, how did managed to fix it? Did you added the "missing drivers"?

Hi Alessandro. which is the version of AOKP buil 39 do you used? In the post AOKP Oisis have two buid 39. Thk's.

Use CWM from Arco (cyanogen9CWM) and it should work

Yes, only CWM from Arco and maybe try to download one more time rom because can be some download errors.

No, for me it is works ok, maybe he didn't know that external SD card is now here: /mnt/emmc/.
Maybe something wrong with graphic enviroment?
When my phone stays asleep (without touching any key) it seems that screen goes black and displays bad.
Don´t know if anyone can understand me, or at least, have the same issue...
Made 100% fresh install, im sure.

Yes it is real ICS with these (little) bugs:
USB tethering
WiFi tethering
HDMI - not tested
Edit: oh Winamp_zg was faster

1. What are these ? Is it a 7.1.x ROM ?
No .. it is not a ROM. These are mods to be installed on any 7.1.x Nougat ROMs like crDroid, CypherOS, Resurrection Remix, Slim7, LineageOS & etc
2. Can all these mods survive a ROM update ?

3. Does the camera app work properly? Like changing iso, EV, etc. ? Does this mod support ufocus?
The Camera app is good for point & shoot. Changing EV is working fine but not manually change ISO - fixed and no ufocus too.
The main point for me to post this Camera app that I'm using on my running ROM is the storage where you can choose Internal storage or Removable storage to save your pics & videos.

Sense Home for non-rooted device

Here I'm sharing what I have running on my stock non-rooted Redmi Note 5 (Oreo 8.1.0)
I don't think they will work on every device, if they don't work .. I won't be able to fix anything.
Key point here is sharing what I have, not fixing for devices that I don't have.
I put everything in this folder - https://sourceforge.net/projects/xioami/files/RedmiNote5/
Simply install as normal apk. If not needed anymore, just uninstall as usual.
Note :
1. Google+ & Youtube plugins not working, so no Google+ & Youtube on Blinkfeed
2.News Republic from Play Store or any other site like apkmirror won't work.
3. You don't need all files in the folder (some of them I just place them there for my own reference)
4. Use only email to sign in Theme app

Install on top of any Nougat 7.1.1 ROM that you're on now .. any ROM.
Only the framework (on post #3 if needed but not necessary), you need to choose correct version of your running ROM.

As advised on every post - (as a good habit - make a nandroid backup before install)
Restore your backup or use any root uninstaller to uninstall them.
For me I always use this app to delete app & data - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.thedarken.sdm&hl=en
delete app & data = uninstall app

although there are no 'installation instructions', armed with a nandroid backup, i proceeded to do a factory reset and a /system wipe before flashing the 'SenseHome_M8_7.1.1 - version 8.52.853503' zip file. flashing got over real quick with no apparent errors. but, upon rebooting the phone has been on the htc bootlogo screen for more than 10 min now. is that ok? how much further to wait?

Why do you wipe system ? This is not a ROM .. these are apps to be flashed on top of a working nougat rom.
Install your rom & gapps or restore your backup then install these apps on top.
