Coby MID8042 with Inferno ROM won't boot

I installed CWM 5.x on my wife's Coby Kyros MID8042 tablet so that I could flash the Inferno jellybean ROM found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1862720
(also tried this with a CWM 6 version too).
After flashing and rebooting, the tablet hangs on the COBY screen but nothing ever happens. I can use CWM to restore back to how the device was before flashing it. Wondering if anyone has any ideas about the issue. The ROM is specifically designed for this tablet so I can't see why it wouldn't work.
The site wouldn't let me reply directly to that particular forum since I am a noob (although I have been doing quite a bit of reading on here for a while.)

Massive problems with HTC one boot loop

Hello all, first post and I really hope you can help. I have an unlocked HTC One, runnnig 4.2.1
Today I attempted to install Android Revolution 6.0 ROM
I downloaded the ROM, made a back up ON THE PHONE of my data, factory restored and then bootloaded and flashed the ROM
I went through the start-up ie choosing which Google options I required etc nd the phone reset to install but now is stuck in a loop. When I attach the phone to my PC it is not recognised. No matter what option I choose in bootmanager ie fastboot, recovery, factory reset etc it just gets stuck in boot loop and I cannot do ANYTHING. Major problems as I need my phone for work. Can anyone please please help I have searched and searched but really don't know what to do?

[Q] Can't find a recovery to work

Hi guys, I have an Allview P5 Mini-Android 4.0.4
Few days ago I rooted it and everything was fine. Then I started to unninstall apps and I think I unninstaled a wrong one because is sais all the time Android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly and it doesn't show my bottom bar anymore. All I can do is getting apps to main screen and acces them.
So I learned how to install a new rom to fix those problems and make my phone faster. But I am stuck at the recovery to avoid toggle signature verification. I tried a lot of recoveries because I dont find an ,,official" one for my phone. The cwm versions that I tried blocked my phone to the logo and some of the twrp versions make my screen flash with white and black line verticaly and horizontaly.
Is there anything I can do to make sure that the recovery mod starts? Or is there any other way to install a new Rom?(without accesing recovery mode)
I am pretty desperate, I don't know what else to do. Any suggestion or method is welcome.
Thanks in advance!

[Completed] Acer iconia one 7 b1-770 boot loop Kingroot

Let me start off by saying that although I've been using droid for 5 or 6 years now this is my first time rooting any device so sorry in advance for my lack of knowledge. Anyway I successfully rooted my acer iconia one 7 b1-770 a couple days ago using kingroots one click root apk. I didn't want to flash custom Roms or anything just needed to remove bloatwear and use a ps3 controller on the tablet. Anyway I decided to sell the tablet so and I went to kingroots "uninstall and remove root option" which also worked without a hitch. When the tablet rebooted there was an option to update to the latest stock firmware. I decided to update just for the hell of it to see what it would add and when the tablet restarted it launched straight into recovery mode. I tried to reboot and got caught into a boot loop. I went back into recovery mode and wiped the cache and also deleted all data. Still stuck in this stupid boot loop and I'm really starting to hate the acer logo with a passion. It would be awesome if someone has any idea how to fix this. Thanks.
