i am getting a problem in flashing zips....
i have many theme zips touchwiz launcher zips.....nd many status bar mods....
bt none of the zips get applied in cwm recovery.....
i m using DDKT3, the official indian stock rom....
plz help me out in dis coz i like much of the customization....

you got themes and launcher from fit's forum? if yes, before flashing firstly mount data and system from cwm.. then flash the zip file.. if it didn't work, flash the latest stock rom and then flash cwm again.. cwm by tj style http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1339640

i think your phone didn't rooted yet, right? as my experience, if i flash cwm recovery, i can flash zip.. but you have to know which zip is compatible to your rom.. i don't know what is the best indian stock rom.. mine is DXKT7(indonesian), it's good, best ui, good battery consumption..

Stop using bold font
I think that, the stock ROMs don't accept the flashable zips until they are rooted. I had the same problem. With the Stock Indian ROM I was not able to mount the system or cache. I was not able to install Beats audio in the Stock Indian ROM. Do let me know, If I'm wrong!
Switch to a custom ROM for the solution....
By the way, please tell me "Why are you using the Bold and colored fonts?"

Do u mean DDKT1? And yes its true. Cf-root kernel does not work on stock rom. It works on custom roms. Even if it has been stated in the original thread that it works on stock rom, in reality it does not work on stock rom. Stock rom gets stuck at boot. I have also experienced the same problem.

hallo... guys ... i started creating my first rom... jus with simple tweaks in system ui and build.prop.. now i wanna pre-root the custom rom which i created.. jus like all the other roms like cyanogen,joyos etc, i wanna flash it as pre-root.. can anyone help me how to do it?? im using dsixda kitchen .. any help would be greatly appreciated thanks a ton in advance guys
in the kitchen menu there is an option to add root permission

I have got the StockROM and I rooted it with the update.zip-method. I think, Avilove.Cullen mean that you extract the update.zip and save the files in the right folder of your rom.

i managed to root my custom rom thread officially closed ! thanks for all the help and support to those who have replied to my thread here and provided me with the timely info and help thanks a ton guys
Install official rom on ur fit. Then root it and install cwm recovery on ur fit. Using recovery mod create a backup of ur stock rom. Backup will be a zip file. Transfer it to ur computer. Unzip and u will get a rooted stock rom where u can add ur tweaks for better look and performance. :screwy::screwy::banghead::thumbup:

But rom manager isn't completely dangerous, it is usable if it's used the right way, this guide will show you how to use rom manager without bricking you phone.Reported that it does not work with stock kernel.I am not responsible for any damage done to your phone, if you hardbricked it you have done something wrong. Follow step 1 CAREFULLY!.(u already. have to install clockworkmod recovery first then u can do this not with stock recovery....)First of all, you will have to install clockworkmod recovery on your phone. This is where some people brick their phones, the trick is to not use rom manager to do it. proceed to step 1 Download and install rom manager from Google Play. Now, what you're going to do is to selectFlash Clockworkmod Recoverythena window saying confirm phone model pops up and should look like this:If you're seeing other phone models than GT-S5670, don't proceed!!! today i read miracle instalation tutorial in xda
i found some stock application has been removed
i have stock gallery3d.apk, camera.apk, mms.apk
can i install these directly as every application or copy these and paste to system/app and change permition rw-r-r
will i get application icon into aplication drawer after copying apk file into system
will copy apk into system brick my phone.

why dont you just flash a rom? you wont have your data and apps but phone will work fine.
