I flashed CM9, but I really liked the original Samsung notification popup---more information, larger, more helpful. How can I reproduce it under CM9?
I should note that this is NOT connected to the Samsung launcher (I had replaced it with the stock ICS launcher while still using the Samsung ROM, and the notification layout was unchanged). I also foolishly purchased a Touchwiz theme from Google Play, but it didn't do anything for the notification layout.
You can't.

hi can anybody post Samsung Galaxy II widgets including
Weather widget, music application and all other goodies.................
touchwiz launcher does not have option to change dockbar icons as Launcher pro does
so plz tell to set same 4 icons in dockbar (phone, contact, message, application) in touchwiz launcher have.
Are you rooted? If so you can download sgs tools (search apk on Google not in market anymore) and upgrade to gtglauncher there is a five icon dock( changeable) , its faster, and looks a lot better. There is also an app in the market called Galaxy S Music Widget which is a customized stock music widget working for the touchwiz player. For weather clocks you can download all the widgets on the LG optimus (g2x) that work on galaxy s phones (I know it works for the vibrant don't know about others) remember to hit the thanks button
Edit: I think supercurio has a system dump of the sgs2 and so does s vibrant which goes by the user name madguitarist (or something like that) I also don't think either system have touchwiz 4. 0 sorry: /

Nova launcher is supposed to support the transparent status bar feature on 4.3+ Galaxy SIII. I just installed CM10.2.1 and I do not have this option, it is greyed out. Any idea how I can get this back in Nova? I'm coming from CM11 where it was baked in.
I've read in multiple sources that Nova should support this on the Galaxy SIII with 4.3. In fact, I remember using it a while ago before I switched to CM11.
Hi guys,
Im looking for a widget that is able to one-click switch to a specific user.
Like I click on the widget / icon on the homescreen and it switches to one of my users automatically.
It would be even better if I can change the icon / appearence of it to make it completely invisible.
My Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.1 is rooted and I use a Cyanogenmod Rom and the Nova Launcher.
Thanks for your help!
I'm using the Google Now launcher on my S7, and it along with a Marshmallow theme from the Samsung theme store has given the phone a nice stock Android look. Unfortunately, the icon pack included along with the Marshmallow theme hasn't applied on GNL. I know GNL doesn't natively support icon packs but has anyone figured out a workaround for this? The TouchWiz icons stand out otherwise. And when I say icon packs, I mean in the app drawer too, not just modded shortcuts on the home screen.
In case you have root you can use Xposed and the XGEL module to use a different icon pack:

Otherwise (i.e. without root) I would recommend a launcher like Nova.
I'm not rooted.

Use Nova Launcher. You can set it up to look exactly like GEL, but it's more functional and performs better. You can use Google Opinion Rewards to build up a couple of £/$ to cover the cost of "Prime" but it's not necessary.
Fyi for anyone googling this or looking for this still. I had my s7 edge display scaling set to condensed to fit more on the screen. Once I changed it back to standard (with the material Samsung theme applied) and rebooted the correct icons appeared. Could be that the change forces the launcher to recreate icons or clear it's cache etc.
Also, stock android lovers, install good lock from the galaxy app stores to bring the stock android notification shade and status bar into your s7. Got a very stock feel now with Samsung material theme, Google now launcher and good lock.
Hope this helps someone.
So switch your display scaling after setting your theme should flush the icons ??
