What exactly are you wanting to change. As far as the the message bubbles and stuff like that I can make some up. I made a bunch of different ones when I was using my rezound.

I know that i can change the background and bubble style/color but i honestly don't like them. I love the stock messaging app but it would be nice to have more options for bubble and background color.

I can replace the ones in the app with what you want. Yeah I know you can change them stock but they all suck. Give me an example of what you are wanting. I can change out the files in the app with whatever. Im going to make like a ics blue and silver message bubbles for myself and change the style of the bubbles a little. I liked the sense 4 bubbles on my rezound so Ill probably make something similar to those to try out. I might be able to make a semitransparent background also but I gotta play around with it a little.

Just post whatever you make that looks good, I liked the stock AOKP style stuff myself, but whatever you make, I'm sure it's an improvement. If I find something that looks really good I'll link you.

That's mainly what I'm looking for, some blue and white bubbles and maybe a white background instead of that pinkish color they offer.

Do you know what the header is called in SecMMS.apk? Tried a bunch of different files today, couldnt find it.

Here is a start to an idea I have. It is blue and silver sense 4 style bubbles with a pure white background, also can use the black background by picking in the app. Anyone through out some ideas of what else to change. Ill post this up for now if anyone interested, im going to do more to it later when i get some more time.

Im going to take 5 different colors from my rezound colors I made and put them in the app so you can change them in the app. They will all be the sense 4 style. What colors of backgrounds you guys want. I got black, and white i can put 3 more in there. then you guys can change backgrounds and bubble colors all from the message app.
Orange/blue,Blue/green, orange/green

After a few request and good feedback from my SuperManEvo theme, I decided to follow it up with the Green Lantern, especially since the movie is about to come out. It's basically a replica of the SupermanEvo theme, but green and everything that was Superman is replaced by the Green Lantern. I do not have a bootanimation yet, but there are several splash screens to pick from and a special one the girls might like. tell me what you think. This is for CM 6.1.2, but I may update it to the newest nightly soon. As usually, I am not responsible if you jack up your phone. More screen shots in 2nd post and Splash screen shots in 3rd post.

I themed the Facebook and Gmail icons, but if they don't show up, thentry uninstalling Facebook and gmail, rebooting and reflashing the theme. that should work or as an alternative, download the pngs below, put them on your sd card and then hold the facebook or Gmail app on your home screen until it vibrates and the let go. a menu should appear. press the icon and then you will be able to go into the gallery and replace the icon with the custom one.

Basically what u do is unzip the Rom you want to theme. Go to system/framework and unzipped the framework -res and then that's where u play with the pngs to change them to what u want.

Man, I have to take my hat off to you for this one. I stopped running CM for a little bit, but I saw this and had to put it back on. Kudos for this one, and i've actually rooted 3 peoples phones today for this theme, including a rep in a sprint store, lmao.
The dialer is ridiculous man, A++++ I think thats one of the best dialer skin i've seen. do you have a donate button?

The boot animation is in system /media. You unzip it and replace the images with your own. Just copy the sizes to start out with and later you can make them custom sizes. The keyboard is an apk in system apps. Basically without this being a lengthy conversation it is a lot of trial and error and also open up some other them to see what they theme and then copy them until you learn which png is which and where they go. Also you will need to install sdk and eclipse to be able to edit png.9's. You can Google how to edit png.9'son YouTube. Believe me I didn't know how to either. You have f up a few themes before you get it right, but if that's what you want to do then go break a few eggsso you can make your omelet.

this is just the beginning of this thread it will be added to most likely on a daily basis.
Make sure when flashing these clock mods that you dont wipe and that you have a clock on your homescreen before flashing or they wont work....
BIG THANKS TO: Stoney666 for letting use some or his images to make these clocks and for his guidance....most of the images used for these clocks are images that stoney made himself especially the 3D ones... all i did was port them over to work with this rom and ad my own little flavor of color and such... so if you like these clocks make sure you give him a thanks to.... added a link to his stuff in my sig.....

hey i got the inverted black and whitebclock, love it...noticed tho the first time i ran it, turned my phone landscape and it just locked up...power button did nothing, hard buttons did nothing's..had to battery pull. second time, there was a graphical error when the flip motion occurred, seemed as if it were a broken animation. seems cool tho, i love this inverted look

hey root, check out your example pic for that clock actually. if you notice, the corners aren't round at the top for the minutes like they are for the hours, they're square...you might have a less noticeable version of what i'm seeing, but that's part of what i'm seeing on mine

James, when you make the tabs for the flip clocks, you need to be as precise as possible or they will fall apart like that screeny. Especially for the landscape support. They need to be shaped like the whole tab behind it. So much that it looks like one solid image, till it flips.

hey man, awesome to see that you may have a fix for those first ones! i totally love the transparency bottom part of the clock (location, the temperature etc) like with the black one...any chance you could make ALL of those ones you have skinned with that transparent background too? i'm diggin the two new ones you did, but i love the transparent part. looking forward to using that black inverted one again once you get the kinks worked out!!

I think the thanks button is on the XDA premium only and not the free one like what a lot of people are using including myself . Tho I don't see why they can't put it on the free one also . LOL . Maybe ill have to get the premium also . But i believe I gave you Thanks thru the browser on my phone but thanks again . I'm running this theme and love it . Keep up the good work .
One question . When I try to use your wallpaper it crops the Pix but i am not able to crop the full wallpaper . Not that it bothers me much because I get the main parts already .

1. @mike1103: You're saying that this theme broke your 4G? Because I can't get it so I wouldn't know
2. @runwitme: The 3D rosie only uses a screens-worth of a wallpaper because you can switch screens continuously without being stopped at the left-most or right-most screen and it wouldn't look right with wallpaper scrolling at that point

Sorry, but it was built off of the Shooter framework, so I doubt it will work on Synergy Kingdom. Feel free to try it out though and post your results because I'd love to know if it works or not. Just make sure you do a nandroid backup first
I've tried and this definitely doesn't work well with Synergy. Sorry for not post screens, but I already Nandroid'd back a few days ago. The wording for Quick Settings are screwy and pressing the People icon gives force close prompts. Those are a few of the things I noticed that didn't work.

Correct, I thought it might of been the ROM so I tested different ROMs and it work. It's after I apply the theme 4g doesn't work, the 4g icon is there but no data. Weird...

Correct, I thought it might of been the ROM so I tested different ROMs and it work. It's after I apply the theme 4g doesn't work, the 4g icon is there but no data. Weird...

That really stumps the hell out of me! I only modified basically just the framework APKs so I don't see why this theme would break 4G Can anyone else confirm this??

This zip only themes the basic framework. You must go to the market and download the "Sense 3.0 Ginger Thyparancy" Skin to apply the clock and widgets and whatever else comes packaged in there. Don't worry, it's free

That means a lot when Burst says it! Y'all gotta show Burst's thanks button some love too because he has created a lot of the PNGs that a lot of themes today are recycling and using including originating this theme's style early in the evo months. So thanks again man, the evo theming scene wouldn't be the same without you!
Black Flip Clock
Is there any way to get just the black flip clock without the entire theme, i like the relatively stock look of Shooter and would love to just add te black flip clock?

Yes, but extracting shared.m10 in fusion.apk will decrease the image quality in all the framework images... unless someone can make a fancy widget clock out of it! Would anyone be willing to take on this feat??

If you just apply it anyways and reboot there will be no issues. I made/tested it on my g2x. Most theme apks for theme chooser say that.

YAY DLed and installed.
I was pissed because i never got to use your themes on Weapon because i upgraded to 3.0
Then i ditched Weapon for CM7 and now i get your cool themes!!!!

If it uses t-mobile theme chooser it should. Theme chooser only works on cm and aosp based roms.

Ok so I have been using the theme for a week or so. I love it best theme so far. Few thing I have found that should be changed though. They are just little things.
When you are in the browser and entering a URL its black txt on blue background. That should be changed to white on blue
In the notification pull down you need a better color for "off" and "on" for the quick toggles. Its hard to even see the icons when they are off and on to me looks Like off.
In Gmail you gotta change the check boxes smaller and its hard to tell when ones checked with that blue. Maybe white when they are checked
the little tower that tells you have signal. How do we know how many bars we have? I've only ever seen it give me one blue bar on both sides.
I think that's all. Not to many things but I see them all the time. let me know what you think

Thank you very much for the feedback. The browser text i noticed and already fixed. The pulldown icons are just temporary i plan on completely changing all of them.
As for the signal icon it has 4 different images. Blue dot at the top of the tower is 1bar. Then there is 3 different bars that appear past that circle. They appear on both sides. So the wider the blue on top the tower the stronger the signal. Its kinda hard to see the empty areas between the bars i will try to define them more. If you look at the top of the icon you can see the gap between them.
I will be doing an update in the next week or so. Hopefully i can have all this implemented by then.

Not at all. I take everything with a grain of salt. This is my first major cm7 theme so things wont be perfect at first. I expect and hope for feedback. I cant catch every flaw on my own and I am glad people are using it enough to recognize the issues so that I can fix them.

These are the infamous Glass Dialers. The button was borrowed from Mcluvn who deserves credit. The aroma installer mod is from thisiskindacrap (thank you)
These dialers are good for both JB and ICS. I have tested them on JellyWiz and JellyWiz Note2 Edition but they should work for all. Let me know what others you try it on and I will add them here.
edit: Verified it works on ICS Clean Rom and ICS deodexed HE Build.
The glass dialers will not work on roms that have a prethemed dialer that enlarges the font. One's that I know of that wont work are Beans and Jelly Bomb.
prethemed patch no longer works with beans 15

I actually had this done a couple days ago but i didnt want to post it until i got the press animation right because it was just lighting the whole square like on the base dialer. Once i got it to color just the button itself then I knew it was ready for prime time.

i made one of these for ics. The only difference that I remembered in the vrtheme is that jb needed a different binary. Would someone be willing to test and see if these work on ics so I could share with all those folks as well?

can you test the red glass dialer on ics for me, if that one works then they all will. i wonder if i should make a second thread for ics instead of putting them together. sometimes when it is too vague of a title, people won't check it.

Red glass is working quite nicely. :thumbup:
As for the threads... you would think that one thread would be sufficient, but searching and reading seems to be becoming a lost art on here. Probably go with seperate threads.
