Any one please test the application on kindle fire let me weather working as expected..

This app developed by some indian student, they posted on blog asking help to test on kindle fire.. I don't have kindle, maximum I can do is posting over here.

From the Android Market, install the Amazon appstore app. Go to Amazon.com on your computer, sign in to your Amazon account, and link a credit card to your account. (Amazon wants you to do this so you could buy apps from their appstore). Turn on One-Click for your account. Then launch the Amazon appstore app on your phone and sign in. You should be able to download free apps.

The Amazon App Store is only available from Amazon's web site as far as I know. They have a QR code for it and it sideloads.
You can go to amazon.com, go to the apps for android section, put in your phone number and it'll txt you with the download as well. Also to install it you'll need to go into settings>applications and allow unknown sources.

Indeed, most of the apps are junk but every now and again you get a gem like this one. I grabbed it yesterday.

Not only that, most apps purchased verify your account when you launch them, so if it doesn't see it in your appstore it won't launch.
Not free anymore so thread closed...
I am trying to find the USA Today apk that was released a couple of days ago specifically for the Kindle Fire. When I try to d/l from the amazon app store it wont appear (I suspect it's looking to confirm I have a Kindle first). Please post a link as to where I can find this apk to try it out on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Plus. Thanks!!!

just download the android version of it and install it on ur kindle and that way u wont have to pay for it..the kindle edition cost money
Note that usa today does require a fourth grade reading comprehension level. I am not yet ready for the big dance. Maybe mext year i will install usa today

I was looking for the USA today app for the Kindle Fire as well.
I know it is free to download in the Amazon app store, but as I am not in the US I cannot download anything from the app store, not even free stuff. Annoying but that's how it is.
So if anyone has it and can post a link to it or upload it, I don't think we'll be breaking any law, as it is a free app...

Apparently you are not alone. I am in the USA and the Amazon App Store says it is not compatible with my (rooted/ROMed) Fire.

I am on nonrooted kf and I had no problem downloading it. It is a free download, so I don't think there would be any TOS violation in sharing it. Attached is the apk from Amazon Appstore.

I downloaded and installed the app.
It works but I get an "app not owned" message every time I open it. When i ask to "see details" I can just continue to use it.
It does crash on me from time to time though.

I'm trying to find someone that has a Kindle Fire that can download an apk from the Amazon Market for me and post the apk.

Worked perfectly. First I had to "own" it on Amazon appstore, of course, since it's "incompatible" with all my devices, it wouldn't let me download it. Once I "owned" and sideloaded it, it works decently enough.

How do you "own" an app you didn't download directly from Amazon?
I live outside of the US and can't download from the Amazon appstore . I tried sideloading some free apps and got the message that I didn't own them.

Maybe different for me, but I live in the US and was able to log into the amazon store and "purchase" it. It was a free app, and when I did that and sideloaded the actual app from Amazon app store that Joseph was able to DL for me, it treated it as registered and I could log in and do my banking.
My only issue, tho I could "purchase" the free app, it said I had no compatible devices (aka looking for Kindle fire only) so it wouldn't actually download to my tablet.
Might be worth a try to "purchase" the app from your pc first.

How did you find it on the Amazon store. No matter what I search it will not show. Even going to Citibank's website and clicking on the link gives me a page not found error...did they take it off?

Resurrecting an ancient thread: does this app still exist somewhere?
Does anybody have iCanprint WiFi - imag pdf web apk and is willing to share?
Please notice I'm not asking for warez, it's a free application, it's only that the app store won't let me download it to my device.

Its a freely distributed App, so it doesn't come under the scrutiny.
If it does change, and become a paid App from Amazon, then it becomes warez and you have to remove it. I don't think it will, because right now Amazon's got exclusivity over it. Plus, the games a bit like Temple Run, where you're encouraged to make "in-game purchases" to make revenue for the dev-company.
Thanks for the link, I tried for an hour to install Amazon AppStore, create a fake name, us address and credit card numer... to still get a "sorry not available in your country".
Should've used a vnc or something to "spoof" the isp to a USA one... but that would take too long for something not so important.

Another way to get it is by downloading the Amazon App and get the app from there. The Amazon App and the Game are both free. Have fun with it ;D
