[Q] Strange browser problem

Hi,
After flashing, rooting, chaning my theme and much more on my phone I noticed that my browser is not working. Now, I have Internet connection over 3G which all my applications can connect with, including Opera mobile browser. But when I try to launch the stock browser I only get a white page, and the strange thing is that I can find words when searching for them on the page. Also, the page is clickable (I press randomly on the page until hitting a link).
I have been searching the Internet for a solution and I keep getting to APN settings, but none of the solutions work for me. I also tried to reinstall browser.apk but the phone wont let me since its a system application.
I am using a rooted X10i with build 2.0.2.A.0.24.

did you do a full wipe when you flashed.
and have you tried reflashing and full wipe again ? and clear all caches in manage apps sometimes even after a full wipe ?
as that normally helps
i use opera mobile anyway, prefer it over the stock

i have a rooted TF w/Krakd rom, which i've had done for quite sometime now
last night i just notice that for some reason my web browser randomly forcecloses now, anybody have any ideas why?

Same herebut with tons of apps. Market, Dolphin for Pad, Launcher, etc... wth? I even wiped and started fresh and I'm still having problems.
Any ideas?

Yeah...problem with going to a custom ROM too soon without giving the stock ROM a good test drive...so I always wonder if I would have run into the same problems if I had just stuck with stock.
I have the stock ROM backed up...but don't feel like spending time to customize again.

try going into said browser and clearing cache/ form data etc. reboot and give it a go worked for me

[Q] Why won't Facebook load on my Sensation?

I have been having data problems, and those problems have been fixed with one exception, the Facebook app does not work. I only receive notifications. Nothing loads on the app however, I only get the top bar of the app then it constantly tries to load but it says connection is lost, even though I can immediately go into my web browser and start browsing the internet.
I use Friendstream too, which works, so its not much of a problem, its just annoying and cumbersome. Especially since I still get notifications from Facebook. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

Try reinstalling the app from the play store. If not, clearing the cache+dalvik after the reinstall might help things.

I tried all of that and nothing works. It doesn't want to connect at all. Extremely frustrating.

Tried FriendCaster, but it won't even get past the Log In to Facebook startup page. It just says loading.... I can access the mobile site just fine however. What gives???

Quick ICS Browser has stopped.

Last night, I installed a Quick ICS Browser on my phone that's using thin milestone5 rom with air kernel weekly version. I was wondering what the problem was and found an error on my gmail sync.
In Data & Syncronisation, Sync com.android.browser is checked but it displays an exclamation mark right next to a check box and on the bottom of the screen, it says "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly."
I've tried ICS browser+ but as expected, and as it's in relation to a sync issue, It didn't work either.
Can anyone tell me a solution to it please? Thanks.

Stock ics browsers and other third party browsers can cause problems. I would try downloading another browser eg dolphin, opera, Firefox, chrome...etc and try it again. If that doesn't work try a nandroid back up and delete your current email that's synced to your phone and add the same email. If that still doesn't work reset your phone and it will work. Back up everything first though.

Oh i've already been using chrome but my rom occasionally causes some problems on using chrome that i wanted another ics browser but anyway, thank you for your help

Xda site reloading

I have a xpiaria z 6606. Since I got the phone when I use chrome and some other browsers the xda site would reload every time I would touch the screen. I tried clearing cache, uninstalling and reinstalling and even factory resetting the phone but still did it after being on the site for just a few minutes.
Then I finally noticed after a week or so that it only does it when I'm logged in to xda. ?
Just thought I'd share this for anyone that may be experiencing the same issue.
