Samsung galaxy tab 10.1. Oh yea
Take a look at the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 .. I've bought a Samsung Tab 2 10.1 as a 'budget' test device, to see if it would be something I would actually use.
Turns out.. I NEEEEED this badly haha.. Currently I'm selling my Tab 2 and will buy the note 10.1 asap.
I had a new ipad and sold it. I'm waiting the new galaxy note 10.1. For lectures and writing is the best so far.

i saw this news at engadget .. i pretty sad that they released the source code for new Tab 2 7.0 but not for Tab Plus ....
tab plus Honeycomb 3.2 source has been out for months.
I would expect them to release ICS source if/when then release 4.0.x to us.
Honestly, I'd rather have this ics source than 3.2 anyways... Honeycomb has always been a bit of a joke... I was almost regretting picking my tab plus over the gingerbread HTC flyer.
Edit: And since the tab plus update is live in Canada, maybe they'll release it to after they bring it to the US?

Im pretty frustrated with this also.. If the source code doesnt come out for galaxy tab plus 7 im going to completely stop purchasing any samsung type product that comes avaliable in the future...
The lack of an hdmi out port and usb port without an adapter capability is one thing but this.... really starting to piss me off.
Gotta buy an adapter for everything now they develop products newer not as good but run newer operating systems come on!

Hello i ordered a galaxy note 2 from amazon but it is on backorder now. My question is are there any galaxy note 2 owners here? I was looking at the Tab 2 @ my local office depot & was wandering should i have just kept my GS3 & got me a Tab 2 since they're kinda close to the same size (The note 2 & Tab 2). Anyone here have the note 2 & the Tab 2???

I have the note 2 and am getting the Tab 7 P3100. so I can SIM swap and use the larger TAb as a phone on trips. No sense in buying the WifFi only American version so I am getting the International version to match the note and stay on ATT dumb phone plan with a Tablet. I would never get rid of the Note 2 as a phone. In fact if Samsung comes out with a 6" screen on the Note I will not use both.
I have a note 2 and had a tab 2. Tab 2 is okay but if you have a gs3 there is no point. Now the note 2 is the best tab I have ever owned.

Had a note 2, stunning phone. Saw the tab 2 p3100, thought" perfect tablet size& it has a phone". Purchased one, flashed jelly bean to it, and stuck my note 2 on eBay!
I use this with headphones and its my perfect all in one device.
The screen and memory aren't as good as the note 2, but jelly bean makes such a difference in performance.
CES is in January, and MWC in February. Samsung will definitely up their game in the 7 inch tablet market considering the kindle fire HD and the nexus 7!. So for me its a no brained as the tablet version with the phone capabilities is loads cheaper than the note 2!!

Which means both My Note II and Tab 7 will be replaced by one device...... I cannot take even a 7" tablet everywhere. A 6.3" phone with minimum bezel is pocketable.
Just picked up the Note 2. While I can see my tablet use dropping now, I'm sure it won't disappear. There are times where a tablet is just easier to use, such as reading a book. The battery also lasts a long time in my Tablet, pretty much regardless of usage. I've heard the Note 2 is a beast when it comes to battery life, but I haven't been able to experience it first hand yet. It'd be nice to only have one device, but I doubt that will happen.
I have a note 2 and recently got a tab 2 albeit the 10.1...
The tab is going in the car.
I think anything bigger than the note 2 won't be usable as a daily device/phone

hello xda, i have a question. i have an upgrade to my contract in june/july and i want to get a galaxy note 2 but i do not think that that will be a good time since they released it last September and will probably release another one around that time. is there any way that i could get vodafone (uk) to hold off my upgrade until the note 3 comes out? what do you think? should i get a note 2 at that time or what? can you hold off an upgrade? thanks in advance.:laugh:
I don't think they are gonna release note 3 any way sooner to s4. S4 has been dated for may. So note3 will be like 2-3 months after that.
PS - at that time if note 3 is out already, then y wud u wanna get note 2?

where did you find out that gnote 3 and s4 are dated for may?
S4 has been announced, but still no talks bout the note 3....most probably it is coming out next october...if the note 3 ds nt come out, go for the s4 rather than note 3...

I think the Nexus 7 is the best option. Apart from the hardware that we know it is awesome, it has a huge and growing community (check out XDA Nexus 7 subforums). So you get the best hardware with the best software.

i this got my samsung galaxy tab 4 10.1 today since there no tab 4 10.1 fourm i this post this in the tab 3 fourm any ways i really like this tablet two me this is a big upgrade over the tab 3 from last year it all so feels a lot faster then the tab 3 10.1 from last year what do you guys think about the new tab 4 line up from last year dos it feel faster and better upgraded from last year line up or about the same ?

Tab 4 is still 3 years behind. The new tabs are not really an upgrade at all, they just put lipstick on a pig and slapped its ass and called it sally, put it in a box and wrote tab 4. Enjoy your bacon!!!!!!

The Tab Pro 10.1 can be had for 400 dollars, why anyone would buy a Tab 4 for 350 dollars is absolutely ludicrous. The Pro model offers so much more for only 50 dollars more. 2560 x 1600 vs. 1280 x 800, 2GB vs 1.5GB, Exynos 5400 vs Snapdragon S5, not to mention faster updates. The Tab 3 10.1 still doesn't have KitKat, yeah the Tab 4 is a piece of crap.
