Although an old post, this is very cool. I'm surprised that Google doesn't include this with Google earth by default.
Not even a clue nor info from Google. I hope that they don't remove the databases options in Google Earth for Android in future updates!
thanks

I sure did. There is no Moon or Mars apps anymore - that I find.
Couldn't find a thanks button either, using Android Chrome. Oh well.
EDIT: Ok, "thanks" showed up after I logged in a second time.
there is the option on android

You have to click settings button, click database, then press settings button on android device and click add. Then copy and paste the 2 other databases above seperately. Worked for me. Thanks
Google Moon
I have a Samsung Tab S 10.5 and a Samsung Note 5 phone, I've download the app google earth because I love to explore the moon, but I can't view the moon, I've looked for the menu setting to install code and I can't find that area in either device. I can view the moon through my pc and I was able to view it through my old Samsung Galaxy s4, so please help. Thank you. [email protected]

This is awesome!!! FollowDroid does for $0.99 what Latitude already does, for free! There is nothing I like to do more with my money than support the duplicative development of apps based on ideas that someone else has already done better.
Now if I can find a $2.99 app that lets me make a phone call, I will be happy.
Real time google latitude? nice
What's the time frame?
lame.. latitude works just fine
about 6/7 seconds!!!
I'm in italy and HSDPA is a very s**t....

you can see your friends on Google Maps in real time! Your friend's overlay map will be updated every 6 / 7 seconds ... so you can "monitor" its position!
Obviously the team has a lot of thought to the management of privacy!

Very nice thanks! Gotta have the copy feature. Hopefully you can add "shorten & copy" for a one click solution.
Edit: I also just noticed hitting the "back" key on my phone doesnt close the app, it only goes away when I hit the "home" key. atrix
Great app!
I also found that back button does nothing. [email protected]

Yeah, since the app was made using HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript using the PhoneGap framework it won't let the user copy the URL for some strange reason, but I'm going to use some libraries that let me implement this on the application, it might take some time but it will work very nicely

Thanks, I'm going to see what's causing that...
Just updated to version 1.1, and now just click the bar that contains the URL and it will change the input field text and there you can copy by tap and hold
If you use bit.ly...
If you use bit.ly instead of goo.gl I just posted an app that uses there service.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1122407
VERY nice app.
It's a keeper
but it'd be good to have a copy feature (i read what you said above about libraries, thaats good )
also yes like the guy with atrix.
back key doesn't exit app, home does but it just in the background...
oh i just noticed this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1122407
You may want to contact him he has the similar one but with bit.ly
ask him how he made the copy and etc.
I know, I'm trying to implement the library for the clipboard, the problem is that I'm using web languages(such as HTML, CSS and Javascript) and compiling the APK using the Phonegap framework.
It might be finished by the weekend...

Rotating Apps ("MultiTasking") is the FASTEST "MultiTasker" in the world!
Using the "Rotation" "Sensor" on your device you can simply switch between "Google Apps" on the fly for Great "Multi Tasking".
1 Step Guide:
1. Enable Rotating Apps and enjoy!
Standing up - "Homescreen" and free use
Upside down - "Chrome Browser"
Left side - "Youtube"
Right side - "Gmail"
Face up - "Play Music"
Face down - "Voice Search" using "Google Now"
NOTES:
-Some devices by default cannot rotate upside down so download a free app like "Adaptive Lock" from the "Play Store" to force auto rotation on your device.
-Most devices have these "Google Apps" pre-installed so make sure you have installed: "Chrome", "Gmail", "Youtube", "Play Music" and "Google Search". They are all free from the "Play Store".
IN DEVELOPMENT:
A version of this app where you, the user, can choose which apps will open so you can customize your own "MultiTasking".
DISCLAIMER:
"Rotating Apps" was built on an actual android device AND have been tested on many android devices in order to achieve maximum compatibility for android devices all over the world for people in need for this productive app!
No android emulators were used in the making of "Rotating Apps".

I do like the sound of this, but I dont use gmail, chrome or youtube so without downloading, can other apps be assigned to these directions/rotations? Or shall I use tasker to open them as I am doing?

Yes I will be updating this soon with an option for Social apps and other app categories that are relevant for multitasking between them.
This is great for using your phone with practically no user input when changing apps.

1st of all. Im not an Dev and an english speaking person. But I want to share an awesome App with the new cool speedreading technology "Spritz".
There is an GitHub Project called https://github.com/OnlyInAmerica/OpenSpritz-Android.
I've grabbed from GitHub the source an packed in an app.
So you can read EPUP with the spray idea.
The following features are included:
- Adjust the speed (WPM)
- Pause function
- forwqard backward rewind (with chapter)
- Invert mode
For opening of EPUP it is more practical to look for a file explorer out the book and then open the app. Within the app you can also open books.
Note: Long words will be displayed double-spaced.
Who wants to test the app can download the APK for Android here

This is awesome! Just tried it out, seems to work fairly well for an early build.
Few issues I encountered when I opened an epub:
- The WPM isn't consistent, seems to speed through a few words, then slow down, then speed up again.
- Sometimes multiple words are shown together.
- There were some meta data displayed, like font size, etc.
- Not sure if the chapter selection is working correctly
Some of this might be attributed to my epub file, I'd have to test it out with multiple files to get a better feel for it.
The only thing that is missing is syncing reading positions across devices, like through Gdrive. Once the issues above are resolved and the syncing is added, I can definitely see this being used as my main reader app!
But so far, solid start! :good:
The none consistent wpm isn't a bug, it's a feature
Yeah unfortunately long word's aren't divided.
The meta is in your epup. Just skip the 1st chapters.
Syncing is a really big deal.

Well the one time it actually let me download the download failed at like 150k. Please host elsewhere!
Edit: eventually got it by searching Google. Works well but I wish there was a better way to track where I'm at in the book. This speed reading thing is really cool and I'm excited to see this project progress!

Does this apk have the IAP garbage removed? I can't even use Glance, it just crashes without a Google account due to IAP. Would love to see this in F-Droid.
This is an app that I have created, simply named "Spammer". Not that I condone doing this a lot, but this app is able to send large amounts of spam to any phone number you choose. I am fairly new to android app development, so this app is still a work in progress. Feel free to test, and hit the thanks button if you enjoy the app.

Ability to send SMS (Carrier and Google Voice)
Upcoming features:
Material Design (After Android L is released)

Some feedback :
- can you add an option to spam the creator of the app?
- can you make it so it doesn't actually send out the messages but only tricks the user in thinking they were sent?
