I find that when my G2x is in vibrate mode in my pocket while I'm out and about and I get a call, most of the time I do not notice it. This is especially a problem when I have other things in my pocket as well such as my wallet or iPod. Is there a way to make the vibration stronger or more noticeable?
I've always looked for this feature, I can't find any roms that have a setting that you can change or anything. I can't imagine its that much more complicated than call volume/screen brightness, it should just be another system setting right?
The vibration motor has a limited strength. It's a hardware limit.

I had one very good blacklist program on my old Nokia. Is there anything close to its quality out there?
I tried PhoneArmor and it allowed a call through even when it was blacklisted. Then It didnt stop to ring anymore, not even when the call stopped. I had to restart the phone to get ride of it. I really need a blacklist app to block out my Boss when I'm at home.
What phone/rom are you using. On cyan for nexus there is a 'send call directly to voicemail' and a blacklist setting as well.
HTC Desire. Yes I seen this send to voicemail. But not sure if thats it. I wannan try aFirewall now.

Agreed. Gestures is my go-to app for finding something on the phone. However, it does go just a little bit nuts sometimes. It starts to show multiple entries for the same item, only one of which actually opens the item. I've also seen it open the wrong item, almost as if the mapping somehow got screwed up. When it starts acting up, I just reinstall it and all is well again. I've been filp-flopping between several ROMS so it could just be the result of so many back-ups and reinstalls.

So I've got the new CleanROM 7 from Scott and am loving it!
One thing I just recently noticed though is that the lock screen shows temp in Celsius. Anyone know where the setting is to change that to Farenheit? I've done some searching in the forums and the dev thread and have come up empty.

I just received what I think is notification spam on an unrooted, up to date 6045I.
Seems to be coming from the built in Recorder app which doesn't seem to have the
"Block all" notification option. Other built in apps like Weather and Notes do have
this option, but Recorder and Radio don't,
Will "force stop" take care of it? I don't use any of these apps.
Would anyone at Alcatel be interested?

I received the same thing today. Only slightly relieve to know I wasn't the only one. Totally crazy stuff. Time for a new phone for me.
I'm rooted on 9.5.10, running Holy Dragon kernel. I have my vibration setting on strong, but my phone only makes a very light "tick tick" vibration when receiving any notifications. What could be the issue?

If you're you using apps like textra, Whatsapp, email apps like bluemai,l they will have it's own vibrations settings. Make sure they aren't set much lower. Each one will control the vibration strength for it's own app and nothing else.
I just updated to 9.5.10 this morning and put back in my EX kernel and for some reason, in the EX Kernel manager app, vibration was set to zero so I had to rest it to 70%. Check to make sure something similar didn't happen to you.
