Video stream from Android phone to laptop through the Internet - General Questions and Answers

I have an Android phone connecting to the internet through 3G. I would like to transfer a video stream online from the phone to a PC through the internet. In other words, I would like to connect to the Android phone to see what it is displaying.
I tried TeamViewer but it does not allow the user to access a mobile phone from a PC.
I tried Skype & Tango (Video call) but they do not automatically answer calls.
I am struggling to find a solution. Is there any?

"cloud" service video stream no wifi

Hello to all,
Does anyone know of an application or service that allows you to take videos from your home computer and allow you to stream those videos on an android device without having to be connected to the same wifi network?
I've searched around, and the only options that I've been able to find are those such as Skifta, TVserity, etc where you NEED to be connected to the same wifi network as the pc with the files. Those options work wonderfully.
However I'm looking for something more similar to Google Music where you upload your music, and are then able to access your music anywhere, through the carrier network or through another network
Basically, I'd like to be able to watch (stream) the videos I have on my computer anywhere that I go, without having to fill up the memory on my phone
Any ideas?

Get familiar with using VPN services like Logmein or Jump Desktop. That's about it.

Video surveillance app

Hi,
I would like to monitor my baby with a fixed Android phone at the cot, and a mobile Android phone with my wife or myself. Initially we were just thinking of initiating a Skype video call, but after some googling, I discovered that I could set up a phone as an IP cam with an app like IP Webcam, and then connect to it with other devices with an app like tinyCam Monitor. However, after testing it over a 3G connection, I realize I can't connect to the IP cam as it has a 10.* local IP address. I could use WiFi, but my home AP doesn't have sufficient coverage.
Are there any solutions that can stream over 3G? Or would Skype be the best solution in this case? What are the typical bandwidth requirements for video anyway?
Thanks!

My brother has a laptop. He uses a usb dongle to connect to internet. I use his laptop as a wifi router to use internet on my phone. Is it possible to connect my android phone to my pc to browse internet on it? I have tried connecting, it connects but is not able to browse any website on pc. I am able to browse on phone but not on pc.

Can you route a mobile to a remote client for use in PLACING calls remotely?

Has anyone ever heard of software that would let me access my phone via the internet and stream audio just so I can make phone calls from the mobile at that point at home while I am away with my laptop ?

Question Quick Share app / Nearby sharing / file exchange with windows

Good morning,
I have a problem, I guess I'm very stupid, but I can't use the quick share application - I don't have it on my windows - and I can't handle nearby devices either.
When sharing nearby windows, windows cannot see the phone - even if it changes the visibility to everyone, it does not change anything.
And how do you exchange files with windows wirelessly? Do you have any tutorials?
Do you have phone link enabled?

Yes
The phone and the computer are on the same Wi-Fi network
They are connected via BT
They are connected via the app via a QR code
The nearby device scan application from the phone does not find the computer.
Whatever I do, the devices cannot see each other, even though they are connected to the same WiFi network / via BT / connection application.
The only thing that I noticed about the irregularities is that when I am connected by phone to the computer using the connect application - BT connection is not established, and the connection attempt ends with a connection error.
Do you have security suite enabled av + fw? If yes see if it is blocking connections. Try creating a direct Bluetooth connection pc (add Bluetooth device) to phone
And check pc event viewer for errors
Quick Share/Nearby Share only work between Samsung devices. You have to have a Samsung Windows PC for this to work.
