I was wanting to be able to hook my Epic directly into a monitor is there a cable or converter that I can I use to be able to do that.
I do not believe video out was ever supported on this device.

Yes, but the Epic has no video out support like mentioned above. That cable will work with the Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch. Not our phone.
Yes I did some more research and came to the conclusion that its not possible...yet and I'm assuming that it will not ever be possible
Are you aware of any development on getting tv out to work? I tried reading the forums but there is just so many posts (most of them nonsense and repeated questions/answers)
In short no, it is not possible. There might be more developments in the future, but as of now, and probably ever, no.
Alot of developers have tried with no luck, talented developers. There were teams of people trying to get it working. Its a lost hope for us.

It appears Sprint and Samsung put a serious roadblock in there somewhere as well has there being no drivers for it. Something to look for in your next phone. I am considering a cheap tablet running 2.3 like a Coby just to have video out.

If they get it working, it'll extend the lifespan of our phones.....I've been thinking of jumping ship to the evo but I can wait.......still got an other year on this contract!

You don't want to go from the epic to the evo... trust me my wife has an evo and the epic is far superior in every way except the hdmi out....

Nice, I like the style when its fixed up. I especially need one, at least 4drs. I got 93 prelude, and with 2 kids. Too small. But I don't want to give it up.. I wanna swap it with H22 vtec LSD tran but got child support on one kid and its messing up my tax season :-\

Big....I had an infuse given to me with bad samoled...the phone still works as I can hear text and phone calls come in you just need a screen replacement let me know if interested

I may use an iPad but that's what I want, plus it works in my schools eco system better, the keyboard will still work for my iPad so how's it a fail, everyone is entitled to their opinion but think before you go off on the I hate Apple tangent

i can say that this is a nice keyboard. I have one for my ipad as well (yes i realize its an ipad, but i use it because its better for what i need a tablet for) definitely worth picking up if your looking for a bluetooth keyboard.

I think what most people on XDA have taken exception to is HTC's complete disregard for GPL compliance. Locked bootloaders and partial source code (if any) abound. It's not that the devs don't like a challenge, it's just that they take offense to a company going out of their way to block them and completely disregard the law.

I want the S4 simply because I've basically had every Galaxy made by samsung. I had to sell my S3 but I loved the way it felt, and from the reviews I've heard of the S4, it feels even better so going off of that and all of the cool features it has I want it!

I say go for the s4 its more high tech HTC one is not quality brand
The HTC One phone looks cool, HTC Sense looks good.
S4 , looks wise is similar to S3

with recent court rulings about patents not worth as much as they initially thought, I would imagine Google is ready to cut their losses on this one
The one's build quality is too premium to pass and the s4's features seem more like gimmicks
