Got it working? I never use it. The one time I did I got a little too far away from my router and got warnings about weak signal and said call may drop. I got good cell coverage, so for me it's not an issue if it never works.

I think most of the GB ROMs do support it actually. It's been a while and I've never used it but libkineto.so seems to be in Valhalla, SCOM, INYOface, and VB. If I remember that's the lib it depends on. So as long as that lib is there you should be able to use it.
greg
No he didn't fix it. lol He fixed your second post
I dont think it worked on CM7 and its Gb based .

It doesn't on CM7 but that's because of the kernel I believe. So any BML kernels on GB should be able to use it. You might have to add the lib back if it's not there but it should work on most of them. Like I said I never use it so I'll let someone else try it. It is the most viewed app in the repository though.
Yeah I think your right you need to add the libs back and it will work then. I also was being a smartass about CM7.
Nevemind.
Forget about ICS or even MIUI proper. Stock GB will certainly do it, but my preferred wifi calling able rom is Raver's Valhalla Black (with a mihome overlay). It's my fallback every sunday night or monday morning so I can still call/text in the dungeon where I work.

Not to mince words, but it 'sounds' like a libaudio issue. Have you tried adding some debugging to libaudio?

Yes, this is COMPLETELY credited to mkasick and theimpaler747, as we all know he hasn't been around, so I decided to do this. I am setting the keytimer to 5 different speeds for everyone to try out. It seems that people have different success with different times. The higher the number, the longer the keytimer waits. So try them all out and see which one works best for you!!
As always, here is the original keytimer thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1025533
Here is the ORIGINAL keyboard patch from mkasick... None of our settings would be possible with this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1039991
Remember, this is EC05 Android 2.2 ONLY. And you must have a compatible kernel. Just flash it through clockwork!
Let me know which timer works best for you!

I'm new to development of roms and I own an inspire and we don't have too many ICS roms in our section. I've ported a CM9 rom from desire so forum but the only major issue is I can't get sound working. It's pretty stable and stock with a few kang features. I just wanted to get you guy's insight of whether you'd like me to post it or not. I'm open to any ideas or suggestions!
I would love to try a cm9. As long as I can make and receive calls I can live without the sound.
Edit: If you need a tester, I can help out.

Hey, I know this may be a stupid question, but are there any ICS features that can be ported over to Gingerbread or that have already been ported? Like, transitions, music controls in notifications menu, and my favorite one which is the expandable notifications like the Galaxy nexus has. I know that Dark Knight V8 has the music controls in the notifications menu. But one of my favorite things was the expandable notifications in the statusbar. Thanks

Yeah the swipe to remove notifications is pretty awesome hahaha. By expandable notifications Im talking about how for example, If I have a bunch of new emails, I can pull open the notifications menu and pinch out to show previews of all my new emails, and then I can pinch in and it will just shoe the notification of new emails, not any previews, if that makes any sense

Dude, you have no idea how amazing an ICS ROM would be. Seriously, that would be like a gift from God himself if we got ICS. On top of that, it would be the greatest "F*** you" to T-Mobile and Samsung. You should talk to Erik, im sure he would be willing to help compile an ICS kernel. I would love to help, but im only just learning the basics of creating an app, so I probably wouldnt be of any help

I'll admit I dont claim to know anything about Android development (though I'd REALLY love to learn) but I am an I.T. guy with minimal knowledge about the internal workings of Unix based systems. Screen size shouldn't be a problem (possibly drivers), but the camera has been giving devs problems all over. Is this what you're basing the Blaze port on?
