Anyone else has this issue? My display won't auto turn off. Display settings set to 15 seconds and still won't turn off.

WM6. Whenever I turn the screen off, Wifi automatically turns off until the screen is turned back on.
Can I change this setting? and yes, I know it will drain the battery, but I have 2 spares that are constantly on charge.
Thanks
[APP] WifiNoStandby - stop wifi going to sleep
Something new - under Wifi Settings/Advanced - I have Wi-Fi set to sleep when display is off..
This doesn't seem to be the case. My WiFi is Always on.
I would imagine that the icon would disappear like it does when WiFi is turned off.. but when the phone is asleep and then wakes up, the WiFi connection is still there.
Anything I can try to fix this? I have tried changing the WiFi sleep policy to the other 2, then changing it back to display power - didn't work.
I did have to reboot the phone last night because I couldn't get WiFi to turn off, but I don't have a problem today with turning it on or off.. just won't go to "sleep"
It may be turning off and you just don't notice it. Cause I know that as soon as I turn on the display again its maybe half a second and then the wifi is back on. So you may be missing the switch.
I also notice that I have to leave the display off for a good two or three mins for it to turn off.

Is there a way to find out how long you are connected to an Access Point?
I am noticing a big difference in battery drain when WiFi is turned completely off, then when it is in the "Sleep" mode.
Maybe its normal but I have smart stay on so if i am looking at the screen it dims but doesn't turn off. This happens even with auto brightness, power saving and auto adjust screen tone turned off. the browser also has auto brightness turned off. the only thing i can think is maybe there is a conflict with quick settings which also has auto brightness turned off. if i am not looking nat eh screen it dims and in a few seconds shuts off.
what mine does...
Same here. I even start blinking and moving my eyes to see if it will stay on. I know I've got to look like an idiot.
Currently not being productive on my S3.
I have been playing with smart stay as well, but I haven't seen that it keeps the screen on any longer ... maybe I just haven't had enough patience.
smart stay does keep my screen on but it does not prevent the screen from dimming. I think the phone automatically dims right before its about to shut off even if i have all dimming settings turned off. right before it shuts off smart stay keeps it on but only after the screen dims thus i am stuck with a dim screen.
Is there a way to turn this help text screen off? Like I would like the screen brightness to go to max because I have turned the settings on for that but I don't want it to tell me everytime I unlock my phone.
Recently, my Fit2 Pro has started keeping the screen on while I'm out running. It used to turn off after the timeout (15 seconds) but now I have to turn the screen off manually, and then it'll turn on again and stay on. Maddening.
I've had to get around this by turning DND on or by turning off the wake gesture. Anyone else getting this problem or is my unit faulty?
