I'm a tech noob why does it say sgh-t999 instead of sg3?
I know it has todo with t mobile but why not just tms3 or somthing like that?

Every phone on every carrier has a similar technical alphanumeric title for it's name. Nothing new here. The noob way for you to know exists, it's just called a Galaxy SIII.

The rom and developers were banned for cause. It goes without saying that threads promoting them are verboten as the end result is a circumvention of the ban.
