Hello all, I have been cracking my head for the past hour trying to have a invisible slider to unlock my phone.
I am using widgetlocker... And what I did was to install a invisible slider using the app itself and adding on the lockscreen.
However, this invisible slider seems not to be working. Because whenever I added it, the normal slider will appear alongside the volume and unlock button...
Now is there actually a proper invisible slider? Or am I just doing it wrong...

The only lockscreen I know of (have tried them all, trust me) wich is capable of showing appointments on lockscreen is the MetroLock: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=656744

you can reposition the lock-unlock slider at the bottom with this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=5851896#post5851896 or this

see my lock screen with the slider in the middle (my choice) and an appointment
Thanks for the replys, I'll try to move the slider down but first I need to restore the slider. I installed and removed the slider in here:

Does anyone has an idea how I could restore the default slider?
I installed the bottom slider that I found here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=5708908&postcount=2) and when I noticed that there where no appointments on the lockscreen so I removed the cab.
Now when I turn my screen on I have to unlock my phone with the left soft key, the lock screen is completely gone!
please let me know!
Fix is in this post:

There has to be a way to hide the status bar. obviously in numerous diff launchers, there is the option to swipe up or down to hide/bring back your noti bar. the noti bar lies within the systemUI.apk (or so i can tell via switching themes). anyone know how to edit the xml that allows for hiding the noti bar? it looks sick when i adb push the systemui.apk and it dissappears. Help!
the statusbar has the home, back, menu keys built in; its probably a bad idea to hide it
I was thinking about this also. It would be nice for apps to go true fullscreen and overlap the status bar. Maybe its an app issue but Remote RDP Lite makes it awkard as when I set the resolution to 1280x800 the bottom part actually gets covered by the status bar.
I suppose I can set it to be like 1280x750 or something...

I'd like the option to hide it whenever.

this would likely require use of a hardware button, since I dont think android CAN support gestures that work over all apps, and I cant think of any other input method you could use
edit: wouldnt be a bad use of the power button since the battery is good enough without it needing to sleep and the lockscreen is sort of pointless because its not in your pocket. Maybe a popup menu on the power button like on phones?
I'd like the ability to move the status bar to the top. This would make it easier to access when I'm holding it with my left hand and resting it on my legs. Right now, if I move my left hand to hit back or home, I then need to grab my xoom with my right hand to keep it steady.
One option would be to use the up down volume keys to move the status bar up or down. Volume could be handled more easily from the notification tray, it isn't as necessary as on a phone to have an alway accessible volume button.
Just updated to 20140130 on my Nexus 4 and played around with the new navigation bar settings. I decided not to change anything and reset the navigation bar.
Now the navigation buttons (back, home, recent) show up on the lockscreen (slider ring) and they work! I can't see what I'm doing, but as soon as I unlock I can see that I went back, to the home screen or pulled up the recent list. This seems like a major issue to me as it essentially renders parts of the lockscreen useless.
Also, the navigation bar isn't transparent anymore on the home screen, but some kind of grey gradient (not even the standard solid black).
Thanks for all the good work up to this point!

Hi guys.
I'd like to use my tablet without the taskbar using GMD Gesture Control.
But I also like to have some kind of Power Toggles, they are now in the notifications.
When the taskbar is deactivated and notifications are opened via Gesture Control, the taskbar pops up again.
Is there a way to get some kind of power toggles as a overlay window?
Hello everyone, I'm a Google pixel owner
I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but I wanted my taskbar to hide on home screen only. While there are apps that are able to do the trick - with app specificity, meaning I can do it on the home screen only - I noticed that in the navbar area the touch screen won't work. Is there a way to hide the nav bar without this issue while doing it?
Thanks
