I have been reading around to find a way to add my custom wallpapers to my phone. I wanted to be able to put them on the "HTC wallpapers" folder so that I don't have to deal with having to crop it when applying wallpapers through the gallery.
I have tried moving the wallpapers to system/customize/resources then changing permissions to rw-r--r-- then rebooting to no avail.
My question is how do I apply my wallpapers like HTC wallpapers? I hope that makes sense. Thanks for any help.

if i'm not mistaken, the HTC wallpapers are stored in the APK itself.
I just made a wallpapers folder on my phone and add them from the gallery.
The HTC wallpapers are added to the Rom zip file themselves. Use 7-zip to replace the old HTC wallpapers, then flash it normaly. You must do a full wipe for them to show up, and the names of the files must be the same.
There are a couple of posts made in the themes and apps section explaining it. Let me know if you have more questions.
Easiest way is to download an app to just add the wallpapers.

what app are your talking about. what do you suggest.

This is an addition to my other Super Hero themes. You know the drill...I am not responsible for your phone, you are. Do a back up before flashing. Now that the pleasantries are out of the way, let's talk about the theme. This is made for CM7 nightly build 14. I do not know if it will work for other builds. Included is the theme, Batman keyboard (HTC). A Batman splash screen and a Batman wallpaper pack. I did not create a boot animation, but Rujelus22 did, so all credit for that goes to him. Also included is a beautiful widgets clock skin I created.
Batman theme for CM7 nightly build 14
Flash through recovery.
Batman Keyboard
Download, unzip and install like you would any app through a file manager like Astro.
Batman Splash screen
Put the zip on your sd card and flash through the bootloader.
Batman wallpaper pack
Unzip and apply through the gallery.
Batman Beautiful widgets clock skin
Put on your sd card in data/beautiful widgets/skins folder and apply through Beautiful widgets app
Rujelus22's bootanimation
Push to system/media or create a folder on your desktop called media and put the bootanimation inside. Then right click on the theme zip and select open archive. double click system and drag the media folder into the system folder of your theme zip. flash as usual.
Picture of the custom Batman splash screen below in attachments;
rujelus22's custom Batman bootanimation seen below:

I would ask that this drop down is added to it! I've been adding it to themes for CM 6 but I can't seem to get it to work on CM 7.

it's in systemUI in the system apps, but it's a png.9, meaning that you have to set boundaries for how it will stretch. What i think i have to do is run the pic you gave me through drawpatch.9 and fill in the boundaries all the way around so it won't stretch and then compile it through eclipse.

Probably not gonna do it. it's too boring for me.
I've been working on the small details, getting the icons right. Check out the status bar icons. tell me what you think. Also themed the deskclock widget.
They look pretty sweet! Can't wait to try it out.

Downloads for the batman theme are up on fist page.
Will be flashing this later this week. Nice job with the little extras, like the keyboard and different icons and getting the bat logo on the notification shade.

How would I install the theme? do you install the .zip in recovery?
Hey everyone just wanted to post this and let everyone decide if they would like to use them. I recently did a google search and found a large file in filetube that had hundredes of flashable .ttf fonts. So I went through them all and made this file that is to be used with Font Changer from the market. There is a free and a donate version. Please consider buying the Devs donate version because it is a very handy tool and he has done a very good job with this app. Below are the steps to apply these. Very easy and Enjoy.
Steps
1-Download the fontchanger file that I have here. Fonts folder
2-Install Font Changer from Market.
3-Un-zip the downloaded file, in it is a folder named .fontchanger.
4-Move the .fontchanger file to root of sdcard.
5- Now start Font Changer again and all of your new fonts will be there and able to install.
6- Reboot phone as the popup will ask and enjoy.
Huge thanks to mayfield103 for providing me with the folder that I lost...sorry about that guys.
Works perfectly! Many thanks.....
Thank you for this! I have used font Changer before and know how to get those on there, unless you had those already I would say that took you some time, so thank again! Awesome job!
amazing stuff. just love diablo font. thx

EDIT: Attached the font that came with my Iconia Tab, not 100% sure that is what you are looking for. I had to make it a .zip file to upload just unzip and put enclosed file into .filechanger folder and give it a shot. Let me know if that is what you had in mind.
Thanks and font viewers
Thanks for putting those together, that was a lot of work. Here are a couple of font viewers for Windows if you want to see what the fonts look like.
Font Runner - not portable but very good
dp4 Font Viewer - portable version
Also, if you set the font preview size to 12px or 14px (for the programs above) it will give you a better idea of what the fonts will look when installed.
I will add a link to this in my theme thread if that's okay.

This is really awesome. Thanks alot man. I noticed my ram increased!?
Very weird, I used to hit around 220mb free and now I hit 310. I've never even hit 300 before on any other rom before, and I've tried almost every other one. Very weird, I wonder if there is any correlation..
But awesome fonts, do fonts from my pc work on my phone?

Yes they will. Also there are thousands of fonts at dafont.com you can even download them from your phone just have to be ttf fonts and i think the EVO 3d even supports otf fonts but I'm not 100% sure about that.

Requested Clocktopia
So here is the requested clocktopia font. But it is not going to give you the font you are looking for I believe. The honeycomb tablets use two different fonts for the clock that is displayed. One parts is the non highlighted parts and the other is the highlighted parts. Together these fonts look good but seperate they are of no use. Will keep looking to see if I can find something that may work. I did find a tread over in the EVO section of someone requesting a honeycomb font and the reply was that there was a font created but because some one the letters look awful the font was never published. I have alos found one that was missing some letters so I won't publish that one either. The atteached file is NOT actually a .zip file. I just renamed it from .ttf to .zip so that I could upload here. Just rename back to .ttf and change the clocktopia to what ever you would like.
EDIT: Just found this other one that does have the honeycomb style numbers. But letters are a bit off. Just rename this file to .ttf as well.

After download the zip, use file manager e.g. es file explorer to locate the zip file which is in tapatalk download and extract the folder that contains the images. You can then move the folder to the sd card and it will show in your gallery.

Awesome thank!
Sorry but they look terrible.Stretched and low res. I would prefer to have original res files and crop them myself
Zedge is the only website with qHD wallpapers gallery but they need much more contributions, we have only 2-5 wallpapers added per week compared to 30 per day on other devices!!
It's true that Sensation wallpaper resolution is a little weird because Sense roms use only 540x960 while MIUI,CM7 and even launchers use 1080x960
Thanks Man!!

The original res files are every where on the world wide web...just google it.
I applied the 540X960 res to my original resolution files while saving so i dont have the the original files no more...but its easy to find them, just google it, thats where i got them from.
OK I've tried everything I could think of and I can't figure out how to set these to span my whole screen. I always end up having to crop it and i only get a portion of the actual image.
What am I doing wrong here?

Here is the iida home launcher along with screenshots and a flashable zip file via cwm. Works like a charm. Got the file from x10 forums so credits go to scoobysnacks for posting it.
Installation: 1.Download file in your sdcard
2.Backup current rom
3.Backup your gallery and then delete gallery 3d app from system folder
4.Reboot into recovery and flash zip
5.Restore your gallery after first boot up
6.Enjoy

It is ultra smooth you have 1 screen with your wallpaper and the widgets you want to put on which is scrollable down to infinity so you can have as many of them you want. By sliding sideways you get your second screen also scrollable down to infinity which has tiles like you see in the pics for any app that supports it(there are quite a few included native to the launcher) and all your apps listed in categories also in tiles which you can move and arrange as you wish. There are some themes if you google them also. Important step for the installation is to remove gallery from o3d before installing (back it up if you want) and reinstall it after booting up with iida launcher or the gallery won't work. Of course you still have lghome so you can switch between them at will.

is there any way to get the Helvetica font on our device?
For example with a .ttf file + font changer?
All characters working?

It's much easier to implement a font taken from another ROM. For example I'm using segoe wp on endymion, which is a font from windows phone 7. If you want something like that, search the forums, it's already somewhere.
But I would also like to know if there's any way to import a font with for example an .ttf file

Not sure what you talking about. In endy control center there is no option to change the font.
And since I'm using segeo wp on the whole system I cannot say what font the control center has by default.

When you download a font linked by dan-fish (I'm using those too) you'll get a flashable zip. after unzip the file, there is one folder "fonts" with some simple .ttf Files and one folder "meta-inf" with scripts and files I do not know about.
Maybe its possible to replace the .ttf files with some from helvetica (regular, bold etc.). But I don't know if there are also other changes in scripts etc. needed.
