What do you mean by "rotate effect"? The "H" build has that fade out fade in effect. Are you talking about the "G" rotate?

Download those files and transfer to your sdcard. Then use ASTRO or Linda File Manager to install in your phone.
will this work for the jf rc33?
thank you i started downloading all that stuff and now im lost lol
So is there a way to enable auto rotate from the home screen on the H builds? I like the animations that spare parts has but still not auto rotate on home screen. And what does the input animations do?
Does this work on the new build? I tried to install the 1st one but got an error because i dint have enough space, even when my phone is just been flashed with the new fw :S, And yes i have root i am on 5.0.2r3 H

Yeh, The rotate tho did kinda get annoying, it was always thinking i was fliping the phone over, And on the new builds, You cant rotate the 360 degrees, Altho it wouldnt work upside down, but it was still prityy sick, Shame i cant get the keybord working in this but the other one was pritty slick
Just a thought? would it be the 1st one has to be done threw ADB?

I think its awesome that your doing this giving a little more options to the H build. Not asking you to do it just wondering if there is a fix for that?

[KERNEL] Modified Stock Kernel [init.d/bootanimation]

Hey Guys,
here is the stock kernel from XXKQ7 including init.d and custom bootanimation support.
Root and Busybox needed
HOW-TO
1. Download one of the following zips
2. Put the zip on your internal SDCard
3. Shut down your phone
4. Go into Recovery-Mode: First power off your Phone, then hold Power + VolumeUp. Release the two buttons 3 seconds after the samsung logo is shown.
5. "install zip from sdcard" -> "choose zip from internal sdcard" -> "stockkernel_init.d_bootanimation_KQ7"
6. Reboot your phone
Downloads
KQE Kernel
KQB Kernel
KQ7 Kernel
Further Instructions
1. Create /system/etc/init.d place some script in it or flash any other init.d script package
2. To change the bootanimation place your favorited sanim.zip in /system/media/
After that you can flash Thunderbolt or AdrenalineShot and use their advantages.
Please give some Feedback it is working correctly because im really new to this stuff. I have a GT-I9001 and at the moment everything seems to run as it should. I had no bootloops as it sometimes was the case with FeaMod or N00b.
what’s this kernel‘s CPU frequency ,OC?

For the ones that want to automate uploading boot.img, here's a batchfile (untested). Just use attached, drag your boot.img ontop of it and ready it is...
Code:
for %%i in (%1) do set onlyfilename=%%~nxi
adb push %1 /sdcard/%onlyfilename%
adb -d remount
adb -d shell dd if=/sdcard/boot.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p8
adb -d remount
echo all ok?
echo rebooting...press a key to continue...
pause >nul
adb -d reboot
pause

Root confusion!

Hi,
I'm returning my A510 (as the screen is flickering after JB update) and need to remove any trace of rooting.
I was rooted on GB but after OTA to JB superuser.apk is missing and titanium doesn't work etc but su is still there in /system/xbin.
Tried using adb but can't rm su as read only file.
Also tried mounting system (mount -o rw,remount /system) but get "mount: can't execute: permission denied"
Any help gratefully appreciated as I'm stuck!!
Edit: recovery is stock, USB debugging enabled and USB drivers installed
Hi Clumzie,
Please next time use [A510] in front of your title.
To fully remove root, the simplest thing to do is flash a stock ROM.
You can't remove root because you don't have the permissions.
I think this would work, but it won't remove the root traces all over the system:
adb shell
su
chmod -R 777 /root
rm /root

Thanks Tom, I had thought about flashing the original ROM but had hoped I could just delete the root files and keep all my apps and settings etc.
Am I right i thinking (from that thread) I have to install CWM 1st before installing the new stock which will then restore stock recovery?
I think that could work, but I read somewhere that superuser creates a lot of systemfilescrapbull, but I donno.
adb shell
su
rm /system/app/Superuser.apk
chmod -R 777 /system/xbin/busybox
rm /system/xbin/busybox
chmod -R 777 /system/xbin/su
rm /system/xbin/su

This would be the appropriate way. Don't use the commands of the things you already removed.
You can also try to automatically remove root with this tool:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=803682
Best way though, is by flasing a stock ROM, just to make sure. The way explained in the thread is indeed based on CWM. However, if it IS a stock stock ROM (which means it's untouched, right from Acer's servers), then you would be able to flash it without CWM. I myself own the A700, so I'm not too sure which keycombination you have to press to go into the flashing mode.

You can grab that from Acer's official website. Took the US version, which contains the WW (worldwide) version:
http://global-download.acer.com/GDF...NIA A&Step3=A510&OS=a09&LC=en&BC=Acer&SC=PA_6
^ if that doesn't work, go to http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers and navigate to the A510 and the OS tab. It's the second one (304.2 MB).

Already have the phone, myself and there is no need to root the phone. It's already rooted and comes with 'su' installed.
As as said 'su' is there, but you should update 'su' to a newer version as Superuser.apk doesn't work well with the version included in the phone.
Go to androidsu.com/superuser (download latest su and Superuser.apk)
run:
# adb push su /sdcard/

# adb shell
in the shell:

# mount -o rw,remount /system
# cat /sdcard/su /system/bin/su
# chmod 06755 /system/bin/su
# cat /sdcard/Superuser.apk /system/app/Superuser.apk
# logout
# adb reboot

Unfortunately, I don't know how to build a custom rom, for now.
I can help posting the nexus 4 System dump:

Is the best way as the aosp source are incomplete for compile cm10.1 for a generic kernel
BTW, does anybody have problem with the GPS? I've tried Sygic and Google Maps and not getting any satellites, or at least no very fast.
I've tried the how-to for the GPS from htcmania.com, but doesn't really help. Also tried FasterGPS app and nothing.
Please let me know if you know a good fix.
Also, does anybody know how to unlock the bootloader? Recovery can't be re-written if the bootloader is not unlocked (or at least thats what I believe).

Sorry, I haven't tried GPS yet. Maybe this week I could have some free time and I can try it.

Would it be possible to dump the ROM from your phone and uploaded someplace? I'm thinking is the ROM, but don't have the original one.

Get double tap to wake in any rom

I'll be showing you how to get dt2w(double tap to wake) working in any rom
Install terminal emulator app from play store and then run these commands
su
ls /proc
cat /proc/tp_wakeup_gesture
echo 1 > /proc/tp_wakeup_gesture
NOTE:After a reboot it won't work until you enter the commands again
NOTE: Only works on goodix panels(to check if you have goodix panel install device info hw app and check if touchscreen says goodix-ts that means that you have a goodix panel)

Not working getting permission denied so probably do need root.
Thank you! Works for me. Can it be implemented as Magisk module?
worked for me too
but; as root,
also
Code:
mad.duck.ffs:/ # echo 1> /proc/tp_wakeup_gesture
mad.duck.ffs:/ # cat /proc/tp_wakeup_gesture
0
while
Code:
mad.duck.ffs:/ # echo "1"> /proc/tp_wakeup_gesture
mad.duck.ffs:/ # cat /proc/tp_wakeup_gesture
1
then just added it in "boot shell" app to be run every time my device started,
works perfectly, thanks.

No Problem
You should maybe meantion that it just will work with goodix touchscreens...
I'll implement a toggle into my LineageOS once I've fixed it on Focaltech touchscreens too.
Thank you !! It worked for me.

Ok,should i add it or just remove the thread?
Does it results in more battery drain?
I mean whether the phone goes to deep sleep or not?

dude such a great help. thanks.
Thanks for sharing ? But I even turned off dt2w on stock rom, just because it too often randomly wake up and input numbers randomly while in my pocket.
I hope there is a way for dt2w to check the proximity sensor before proceeds to wake up the phone.
