Could someone with some expertise kindly make a flashable zip for stock users to get rid of that HIDEOUS icon?
It would be greatly appreciated and I would throw your PayPal something once my swappa sale clears.

Is there a way to port ServiceMode.apk from TouchWiz into the JB ROMs? It's a baseband reader which allows us to read RSRQ RSRP, band in use, cell site location and settings, it's accessed from a phone dialer *#0011# http://i.imgur.com/U9rcU.png
Unfortunately in AOSP ROMs we lose that and I have yet to see a ROM that implemented it.
Thanks

Judging by the nonexistent feedback you've gotten from the 20 times you've posted this in different threads, I'd venture a guess and say no.

I just ported over from my AT&T build...I can't test since I'm not on verizon so I was wondering if anyone was interested in testing....
Just PM me....I will send a link to the first 5 requests....
If you are a tester please make sure you back everything up before installing.
If any issues a log cat would be useful.

Its just a different variant that offers a toolbox for customization such as no am pm, clock centered, change colors of battery clock, ect...no icon labels...
A little bit more than the current options you now have.

Can never have too many options.

Thanks for your contribution. Some seem to have no manners or gratitude. We can never have too choices. How many k3 ota ROMs do we have? Exactly never too many.

Man, you MIUI crowd are a sensitive bunch. As someone said above, what is wrong with more options? Do you think they are completely the same? Like every other ROM with the same base? NO!! The OP even mentioned his extras.
If I was this dev, I'd have already pulled my link and told y'all to shove it. He (and every other dev) does this for you.
Be grateful someone is dropping another option. I can't count the threads I've seen lately about "development drying up" "when's the next ROM dropping?" -- silly ish like that. Well, here you go...
Merry Christmas

base is one thing...functionality and differences built in is something else. hence why i asked what was "different"
i dont see anyone being rude or anything of the sort..if anything someone made a great suggestion by asking the op to link up with the devs of what we already have to incorp the toolbox or possibly build something greater.
@ wolfe...am i missing something? or are you all looking too deep into the posts.
@ OP thanks for clarifying.

OK...I have enough testers...
Now I just need to know if it works!!!!
Everthing is ported over from my ATT Miui Port...I used Verizon CM10 2.12.16 build as base. The RIL has been changed to reflect VERIZON and the build.prop and updater script all reflect Verizon. I added some of what I believe to be important Verizon APKs from the CM10 base..
Good Luck and let me know...
Remember Back up back up....
as socal said we werent trying to be rude.
intereted to see where this goes! i just got into miui like last week and im enjoying it so far.

Hey I was looking around for a place to host my work and I found androidhosting.org. I was wondering if anyone has used it. It looks new as I havent heard of it. I paid for a week to try it. Seems nice to me. I was able to upload at around 4mbps. Has anyone else tried it and have you ran into any trouble with it. I liked that you have the choice to share work or keep it private.

Soon to have unlimited skips!
Awesome. Songza is one of my most frequently used apps lately.
Unlimited skips would be sweet too!
Ya... Trying to make that unlimited skips work is tough, no one has done it on android yet. (Crossing fingers)

Edit: I like the app, but do you think the pop up & pull down menus could be made black (or at least darker)?
It looks like they were untouched.
Send a screen shot.... I'm on cm.....so my layout might be different from someone who is rock in touchwiz. Plus I'm using 220 DPI.

Here's what I see. I run JellyBeans ROM on my Verizon Note 2. It is Touchwiz but AOSP themed. I don't change the dpi.
The menus are the same color as they are on the official app.
Yes my friend has pointed this out to me... And I will have a update tonight:beer:

The bottom menu is all good.
But the top is still unchanged.
And this is something that wouldn't really bother anyone who uses Songza a lot because we know it's there, but someone new to the app may not know how to mark a playlist as a favorite since they can't see where to select the star.
thanks bro... Going back to the drawing board

How does it take to get an invite after signing up?

Not sure if anyone has actually received it yet. I look at it more as a "coming soon" sign up at the moment.
Ahh got it. Thanks

Nothing yet
Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
Me neither. I did a quick google search last night to see if people actually had reviewed it yet and found nothing, so I'm guessing that no one has gotten an invite yet.
I signed up for Cover a couple hours before this thread was started and still have not received an invite yet.
As far as Aviate, I have been using it for a little over a week and it is great. I have an extra invite if someone needs one you can PM me your email address and I will send it. Also comment here so I don't have people filling up my PMs with requests. For it still being in testing it works very well with little to no drain on the battery. I was having lunch with the wife today and looked at an email and then noticed it new where I was and the tips showed up on what people had said to order. It has also noticed when I was at Arrowhead stadium and so on. It is really good already and I think this will only get better.
I am hoping that Cover will work as an add on to Aviate.
I can vouch for Aviate as well and I have a couple extra invites too. It's an amazing launcher and I'm sure it will get even better over time. Check out the "Post your Screens" thread and I just posted some screenies of the launcher.

Here a review of Cover in its current form done by The Verge.
http://www.theverge.com/2013/10/24/5024652/cover-android-lock-screen-context-movement
I don't really trust The Verge review much but I can't imagine there being any bias or nonsense in this.
