I am trying to copy a movie from USB (HDD or stick) to micro SD card. After a while (and after about 2 - 3 GB copied) TF700 restarts. Any solution?
What type of card?

Try not using NTFS for some time. It's been worse since the .26 firmware update, but is generally underdeveloped under Android.

yep, write issues with these cards. i experience it all the time, no matter how i format the card. ntfs, exfat, doesnt matter. If i try to copy a 20mb file from the device to the microsd, it will freeze and reboot. but when it comes back on, im able to copy.
But a little success. In my PC I copied on the car an mkv movie 12 GB ant it is working in micro card slot and in SD slot. So, in all I have 64GB + 64 GB + 64 GB!

So I just received my Transformer this afternoon, and formated my micro sd card to ntfs with default allocation. I plug it into the transformer and storage settings shows up for micro sd card as unavailable. So my question is does SD card work straight out of the box? Or do I need to do something to it?

mine works without any problems, try doing a fat format to the card rather than a ntfs
so yeah looks like fat 32 works and ntfs doesn't >_< thanks man.
For future reference, NTFS only works with Windows (for the most part)
Has anyone tried running a 64 gb micro sd card in this? Any feedback?
Haven't used iy myself, but from what I understand if it does not work you need to format it to FAT32,then should be fine

formatting to fat32 works fine. using integral micro sd card.
Agreed. I have a grey and red sandisk 64gb microsdxc in mine and it only works with FAT32. ext2/3/4, exFat and NTFS are no go unfortunately, limiting you to a maximum 4gb file size. Just pop the card in and it will ask if you want to format it.

I recently purchased the SanDisk Ultra 64 GB MicroSDXC Class 10 UHS-1 Memory Card for my Verizon Galaxy S3. When I put it into my phone (I am running CM 10.1), it automatically formatted the card to FAT32. Then I wanted to put movies on my card, but I couldn't put files over 4gb on the phone because it was FAT32. So then I formatted the card to exFAT because you could put big files on the card with that format, but my phone said "SD card is black or has unsupported filesystem." I thought that the GS3 supported exFAT? Is it that CM 10.1 doesn't support exFat? I was wondering how to fix this or how I could put these big movie files on my phone.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

This is exactly your problem, don't use AOSP so I can't verify this working, but this should do it.

Anybody use the card i mentioned above ?
my experience with the card is NOT good!
Early June i bought Transcend microSDXC 64GB (TS64GUSDU1) for my Galaxy S4 (i9500). After two weeks, i notice that i can only utilize only 31GB out of 64 GB. because if i copy data more than 31GB, the copy process failed. I tried to format the card using exFAT from Windows 7, the format process stuck at 51% (was using non-quick format).
Tried format this using SD Formatter 4.0, same thing happened.
I get the replacement from the store, for first week the replacement card is functioning normally, i can format completely (exFAT using Windows 7 non-quick format and tried another format util SD Formatter 4.0) the format went successfully. so i begin filled the card with data up until 50GB. the card work just fine until 1 week.
today the memory card is very slow!! my current capacity is 40 GB, as i tried to copy another data to the card, the copy process is very very slow. only 64 - 256 KB/s. Initially i can get 14 - 15 MB/s of copy speed. but now it's very slow!!! I'm very disappointed with this product!
PS: I format and copy the card using included SD Card adapter. And i have tried using 2 different computers. all same result! And sometime somehow the pictures i capture using the camera got corrupted!
and what the maximum amount of the SD card can be used as system memory? I have a card to 64GB, and when you try to make it a system unit for a long time it formats, but it is empty and then says that the card is damaged, but if you use it like a regular card, it works fine and displays. Do not tell me what could be the problem?

My coworker had that issue with his 64gb card. But my 32 and 128 worked fine. Try formatting the sd card as fat32 maybe, then attempting to have it "adopt"?

it is not clear yet because using a USB flash drive to 32GB everything works fine, and the phone does its system memory.
