Good afternoon.
I have a Samsung galaxy s4 with version 4.4 of android.
I have already the phone rooted.
I need a solution to allow me to active GPS remotely.
I lose my phone frecuently, and always I have the GPS off because of battery drain.
Is there any method or application to remotely activate the GPS? I tried sms remote applications, but does not work with GPS. It only works with wifi and 3G.
turn on your GPS and..... go to: https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager
It isn't a solution I'm searching.
I have a Samsung Galaxy core prime on metro and want to use my data vs wifi, I have no wifi where I'm at due to having hotpot on my cell phone. I have multiple apps that require wifi only to run and I want to trick it in using only my data connection. the posts I have seen require root, and I have yet to see any solid proof that this phone can be rooted. Any suggestions is appreciated.
Hi folks,
I just switched my rooted custom rom HTC One M8 with the Galaxy S7 and now I am missing a few things (which was expected).
Is there a way to activate / deactivate airplane mode with Tasker or toggle mobile data even though Secure Settings is out of the picture (for now)?
I know this is not exactly a Galaxy S7 specific question but there may be a chance that someone else also switched from a rooted phone....
Additionally, I can't get Android Auto to work.

Yes, I was able to do this on my unrooted Z3C using Tasker and AutoInput. AutoInput emulates user swipes on the screen, meaning that you can pull down the notification menu and then enable/disable whatever toggle you want, including airplane mode.
Hi everyone
I want to install the international stock room because i don't like to see my phone is for other companies when i reboot the phone i see sprint logo, and there's a lot of sprint's apps and services and that bothers me also when i want to enable or disable data i don't find it in the notification bar also the Hotspot tethering i don't find it
I want to remove this room and install the international firmware version of (n920c) how can i do that ?
I don't think that's possible, but you can just disable annoying Sprint apps in settings Application manager or root your device to Freeze or completely remove them. But still i think you won't be able to remove the sprint logo when you reboot or power on device.

So, Is there a way to toggle Mobile Data / Wifi On and Off from the Gear S3 ?
This is a function I believe Samsung should initiate even if they kept it within the bounds of Galaxy phones from Gear Watches it would be a great marketing point.
As it stands, the data toggle in particular is not achievable easily as third party access to mobile data was removed by Google for security reasons in Lollipop. It can be achieved by rooting your phone with the usual caveats that go with that (and I did this successfully on my Galaxy S6). At the moment the work around I use on my unrooted Galaxy S8 is Tasker with the AutoInput plugin and TaskS2 on my watch. It allows me to mimic button presses on the phone screen and has replaced most of the functions I had previously, however I can only toggle data, WiFi, airplane mode, I can't select on or off discretely because of the way AutoInput is employed. All of these apps are paid apps.
