As much as I love samsung, I hate to say that the only viable solution is to get the Xperia Neo L because it is the only one that run ice cream sandwich out of the box. Ice cream sandwich is noticeably faster than gingerbread. Galaxy W has poor support from xda as not many people are owning this phone and galaxy ace 2 is relatively new and so there are no stable ics roms out there.
Sony xperia Neo L hands down
i own an xperia neo l and i have to say its pretty awesome with ics
id actually worry about the ram in those devices- make sure u get a phone with a gig of ram , cause 512 is too laggy.
ACE 2, big ram. And will got ICS update too..

i ve wonder but u should buy ace 2 i guess. ram is a really big factor. in wonder u can use max 190 mb ram.
I have an ACE2 and quite satisfied with this
Do you have any question about this?

hi, i have a question for i have search a lot..
What phone is better for application Samsung Galaxy S(I9000) or Samsung Galaxy S PLUS(i9001)
And one more think .. -= at I9001 i can install android 4.0.3 from this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1398223
???
I think a proper place for this question would be in the I9000 forum
1900, it has more roms. Galaxy s2 is for rich people, right?
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda premium
galaxy s2 is over 2 times faster than the galaxy s, it has a bigger screen, super amoled PLUS, it is still supported by samsung and it will be supported by developers for more time to come...you decide
galaxy s2 is x2 faster but x2 at price ) i want samsung galaxy s or galaxy s+ and i dont know what is better
here is a comparison between the two:
http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=3908&idPhone2=3115
as I see it the main differences are:
OS - minor difference because you can change it manually when you flash ROMS
Processor - this is maybe the difference
battery - also a thing you can change alone(Ebay cough cough)
I don't know what are the price difference - you should consider if the price difference is worth those changes
Enjoy

Well Get i9000 instead.....(Most recommended)
U can also try Galaxy s+, galaxy S advance......
^^^
All three are same models externally.....just the CPU,Chipset,GPU,RAM and Display Differ.........
Again i9000 (sada galaxy S) is the most recommended Since it gets the most Attention...both from Samsung and Devs.....and super-amoled has better battery life than S-LCD's......
Buy a Galaxy i9000 or a Nexus Phone... Best Roms for them and great Developer support.
I'll recommend Xperia Neo V (I have both phones) for the following reasons:
1. Samsung Service and hardware sucks (too many issues just check the forum)
2. SL has no official support for ICS.
3. Limited ROMs for SL.
4. Neo V is faster/smoother as per my experience.
5. No notification LED on SL.
6. Neo V is cheaper with a better SOC.
But, Galaxy SL is easier to mod as compared to Neo V (requires unlocked bootloader, an easy procedure).
Sl is the best in its range..
I ve been using it for almost an year.. til now no problem
Battery backup would be better than ace.
Don't think of xperia u..
Its useless. It has only 4gb internal memory and no external memory card support.
I would recommend against it. The phone is at the end of its support cycle.

how about experia sola...! I have.seen its specs. Looks really good & most imp it has ICS support. Its a fact our phone is just ok kind of phone which has very low kind of development. If I get a chance then I will replace my phone with 1 year old samsung galaxy nexus phone which has very vast developmrnt.

Hello Everyone,
I am Peter Fabian, new in XDA community. I need advice from the Samsung user which for my purchase of Galaxy ACE. I need to know is there much difference between ACE and ACE Plus in term of features. Which one should I purchase from both of them.
Thanks

I think the only difference in processor speed and screen resolution.
The Ace has a 3.5 inch screen, while Ace Plus comes with a slightly bigger screen, of 3.65 inches. The Ace Plus promises better build quality over the Galaxy Ace.
Both of them have a screen resolution of 320×480 pixels, but because Ace Plus has a slightly bigger screen, it's better for the display.
They've both got a 5MP camera so no upgrade there.
The Plus has 3gb internal memory and 32gb expandable. Whereas the ace only has 158mb internal.
Ace is on Froyo but ace plus is on gingerbread.
Aces battery will last longer but that's only because of the better processor on the plus.
That should cover most of the differences so you can easily see which you'd prefer.
Hope I helped

Hello Peter Fabian
ACE plus is much better regarding features but almost same in others like both have same camera and screen width. Samsung galaxy ACE plus has 1 GHz processor but if you are very keen on the battery and would want your phone to stand for long ACE is better.
hey peter...go with ace plus

Hi everyone, I have been thinking about buying a Sony Ericsson Live View, because its very cheap, but I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace with Cyanogen mod 7 which is based on Android 2.3.7, and I have heard that the live view works great with Gingerbread, but I am not complety sure if the live view could work with the Galaxy Ace specially with one which runs Cyanogen, so, what is your opinion about it? , Sorry for my English the reason is that I am learning it.
I've got Sony Smartwatch with Galaxy Ace and CM7.2 on board and it is working really great. Unfortunately LiveWare Manager and Smartwatch APKs are very high on memory usage (and CPU, when too many widgets on Smartwatch), so be sure you've got fast and stable rom. I'm using The Ultimatum and I'm very satisfied.
I've got a LiveView, they're not very good. I also just a a Sony smartwatch which is the successor to the LiveView.
It's a fantastic piece of kit.

said that there was not any but it could be hidden somewhere
dont need to list all the names of the phones but that would be cool! if you want include past phones, who cares what operating system it runs, android,iOS, windows or even Symbian, maybe even include the operating version or Current ROM for it! (android 4.0, Windows 6.5 ETC....) a picture of them piled on each other would be cool too! plans on doing that in the future.
