[MOD][CM10]Enable Blue On Screen Nav Buttons+Camera Remap - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

Hey everyone!! This will enable blue on screen Nav buttons. Along with a home button camera remap (Home button becomes dedicated camera button) If you hold down the "home" button for 2 1/2 seconds it brings up the camera app. Then you can instantly snap a photo by clicking it again. Thanks to Marcismo55 for asking me to make it for VZW Variant. Make sure you thank him. Also thanks to CM10 developers because without them this wouldn't be here.
Also I am not sure if the build there is right now for VZW has the menu and back button disable light feature. But if it does not work you Must uncheck auto brightness before flashing and I'f the light do come on just wait a little they will go away .
WARNING!! this might be too sexy for you so be careful!
-----------------------------------------
So here is the link for the 7/30 build! Have fun!:http://www.mediafire.com/?wj65c011ive2096
Already tried: making home point to different app.
Making the camera start quicker while holding down home.
Request will be considered guys but I am not superman and can't do everything lolol.
TO DO LIST: Post undo mod . But I should slap you if you want to undo it. Lol
Added a donate link guys. I'm only 16 so I can't say buy me a beer! So how bout half a gallon of gas? Or any amount really. Every but helps! That would be great. Let me know if you donated to I can thank you and put you in my posts!! I have a passion for doing these things so I do not expect any donations from anyone. I do it because I love it and can't get enough of it!! Thanks everyone for being supportive .
Donations: Marcismo55( thank you so much, this gives me so much motivation)

Awesome work!
Thanks for this, was looking for one.
Anyway to add a permanent menu button? I can't seem to be able to access any menu options since the hard keys are disabled.
Could you also make a version that has the hard key enabled also? I like the size of the bar too.
Edit: Was able to enable the capacitive buttons. Thanks

There is a way to add a menu button. However it is not on all the time so it makes it look kind of funny sometimes. It only comes on when you have the option. Instead of it being there but disabled.
I shall make one with the hard keys enabled as well! Tomorrow or so

This mod is awesome!

Hey Mon, is this only for cm10 roms? And also I wanted to make a suggestion for you. You should add some screen shots in the first post so people have a better understanding before they go ahead and flash. That might help with downloads and stuff. I haven't tried it, but thanks for your contribution.

Hey could you post a revert incase we dont like this? Thank you

Hey just wondering if you were still going to make a zip to activate the on screen nav buttons AND leave the hardware keys active as well. Being left handed it is nice to be able to reach the back button on the left but still have the dedicated menu button Ive become so accustomed to. No worries on how long it may be, Im uber-enjoying everything this GS3 has to offer.
Thanks!!

[MOD]Remove 'End Call' Soft Key While Call in Progress - Updated 5/26 for Fresh 2.1.2

Updated 5/26/10 with new version supporting Fresh 2.1.2. See Here for download.
Okay, some of you saw my initial failed attempt at this mod, for removing the 'end call' virtual key / button on the screen, while a call is in progress.
The purpose of this mod is to prevent accidentally hanging up on a caller, by having your face press the 'end call' virtual button. There are even apps in the market to try and address this, so I'm guessing the issue is widespread for people.
On my first attempt, I inadvertently removed the entire bottom row, which was problematic, as it prevented you from being able to enter numbers, etc, during a voice prompt.
I was unable to find a way to remove JUST the 'end call' button, without removing the entire bottom row, so I decided to take a different approach, which is the end product posted here.
This approach seeks to simply disable the key press event on the 'end call' key. This way, we don't have to worry about removing the button, just disabling its function. As a result of disabling, I then went and removed the 'End call' text from the button, and turned it from red to gray, to essentially show it as disabled / non-functional.
To end a call using this mod, simply press the 'red' end call hard key on your phone.

This mod may not be for you, but if you frequently experience this sort of problem, hopefully this helps.

[APP][WIDGET]Mission Control

[Updated]
Added button to change ringer state: Silent, Vibrate, Normal
NOTE: You cannot change ringer/notification levels with the widget if ringer state is in Silent or Vibrate. You will notice the icons fade out.
Enjoy!
Hey everyone. I developed a small widget to quickly change volume levels for media, ringtone, notification, and alarm. I find myself wanting to turn media volume on/off all the time, and I couldn't find a good solution in the Market, so I made my own.
You can download it from the Market. Just search for Mission Control. There is an SD version (G1, Hero, etc), and an HD version (Evo, Nexus, etc).
If you guys find any bugs or have suggestions for it, just let me know. This is my first Android app, so please be gentle.

Nice, could you use some iPhone icons by any chance?
Nice handy little app. I just downloaded from the market and put it on one of my panels. I like the three level toggles. this will be great when at the theater or a meeting and want to turn everything off really quick.
Thanks for the app!

Only other thing I would like to see, is when you press one of the toggles that it changes your phone settings to vibrate, silent, etc.

Trying to get an idea of interest in a theme like this.
Inspiration came from Bezerker.
Themed out in all red with out the over kill on the eyes.
All icons are left original Droid X colors.
Many Thanks are due and will come if I decide to release!
Also, I'm in need of someone who could help me with text color...
I'm trying to have white text against the dark buttons.
Ok, I'm putting this link up for the those who'd like to test...There shouldn't be any issues besides the buttons which I'm working on. I haven't themed ADW yet...that'll happen tonight if i can get to it. Also this is from a free Mediafire account so it might be limited. If you don't get a copy and want one PM me.
Download -- CM6 Test 8
Droid X Themed LauncherPro v0.7.0.4
Install: In recovery, system mounted -- adb push SCM-LauncherPro.apk /system/app/
I've pretty much already done this and it's complete, but the only real issues that remain are fixing the 'press' color for the pc sync app on the phone and, like in your screenshot, removing the black horizontal lines from buttons. I just don't feel like releasing it unfinished

[MOD] Camera Mod: Take pictures with the power button

This is a mod to the stock camera app that comes with the Infuse.
Features:
Take pictures with the power button
Take pictures even when low on battery (less than 15%)
Record videos even when low on battery (less than 15%)
Know bug:
The only known bug so far is the home key ceases to function on odd presses of the power button. So if you take a picture with the power button, the home key won't close the app, but if you take another picture with the power button, the home key will work correctly again. It keeps flip flopping between working and not every time you press the power button.
However, even when the home key doesn't work, you can still close the app with the back key. I tried forever to fix this but so far couldn't. If people complain about it then I'll look into it more. Thanks MikeyMike01 for giving me the fix!
Update:
Version 1.1 has the fix to the home key not working.
Note: This is my first ever mod for any phone. I've tested it and had some other people test it and everything seems to be working perfectly, however keep in mind that since this is my first mod that something I may not have thought of may go wrong. If something does happen, let me know and I'll do my best to help.

It is a CWM flashable zip. Download the zip, boot into CWM, and install it. Then reboot and you're good to go. Be sure to back up your current Camera.apk (/system/app/Camera.apk) in case something happens to it. Nothing should happen, but better be safe than sorry.
Do not install this on a stock ROM. This requires you to be on a deodexed ROM in order to use; installing it on a stock ROM with just cause it to FC whenever you open it. If you still want to use it on a stock ROM, try installing it and then deleting Camera.odex from /system/app.
If something gets screwed up and you want to go back to the stock camera, put this in your /system/app : http://www.mediafire.com/?agjxja90ord61xc
Again, that camera is deodexed and won't work on a stock ROM.
If you need help with anything feel free to ask. Questions, comments, and concerns are always welcome.
Thanks

Also is this causing anyone else's camera to FC? If it does could you post what ROM you're using and any other information that you think may or may not be helpful?

Do you by chance happen to be using a stock/non-deodexed ROM? If you have a Camera.odex file in /system/app then you may need to remove or rename it. That's the only thing I can think of right now that might be causing it to FC for you.

Ras i was wondering if you plan to have more customization control like with redemption or is it basically wysiwyg? I liked being able to change how my notification toggle were words and i could show or hide them by tapping a button. Just wondering if i should expect something like that or keep an eye out for redemption updates.

I think what we have planned for Melchizedek is going to be leaner than Redemption. I'm sure we will add more features as time goes on. If you want to full boat of features, Redemption will be updated in the next day or two. Nice to have choices, I hope.

this one doesn't require any extra radio flashing does it? Also is it safe to flash after all the steps... as far as the kernel part... It mentions something about flashing someone elses kernel... Thanks and the pics look sick!! Cant wait till my phone gets here....
Shouldn't have to flash a radio, but you can look to see if a different one works better for you. And as to the kernel, only use the one in the rom.
Thanks, Ill see how it goes!
I am using it nouw for a few days, runs very smooth! No big bugs or whatsoever.
Only the videocam doesn't work for me, can't play the recorded video on the phone..
Great job!
someone can post a link to the wallpaper? thx

Dude, please read the OP for the ROM.
"-Custom Camera Launcher that launches Angel Camera for stills and VideoCam Illusion for Videos
(You need a player like Rock Player Lite or MXPlayer to Play the Videos)"
Which means install Rock Player Lite or MXPlayer and your videos work.

I haven't tried this ROM yet but I bet the Walls are in the OTA (Over The Air). Look for Redemption Tools in Settings menu.
just one question... there is a way to put the statusbar of the Redemption on this rom?
Sorry for my bad english

Kimtyson is correct... Settings > OTA or settings > wallpaper > Collective Wallpaper
Absolution 3.7 /Redemption A4.0/ Melchizedek Alpha 1.5.1
I think the toggles in the notificationbar are in Redemption better working.
Cause they are so small i can't touch them properly, and especially WIFI is annoying to enable/disable.
There is a big delay before it reacts on your touch, so many times I don't know if I selected it right, and start to hit it multiple times
The place they are now is good, but in Redemption the toggles are much bigger, and easier to select.

Agreed. I like the On/Off toggles much better, too. Just wish Mel had the same sort of notification bar toggles like Red. Other than that minor difference, Mel sounds like a great ROM!
I have problem with playing games, screen not responded.
