OR FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS WHICH MAY BE EASIER TO ROOT THE ZTE V790 AND INSTALL CWM:
0. You will need the flashable SuperSu v2.46.zip from here (https://download.chainfire.eu/696/SuperSU) and the CWM v5 recovery zip from here (http://v790.blogspot.com/2013/06/recovery-for-zte-v790.html) but don't run the bat file. Place the SuperSu zip and the recovery.img on your SD card.
1. Set USB Debugging to ON from the Development option and place the SD card in the phone.
2. Use Kingo Root to root the phone...normally this will result in the phone being rooted. If the phone is properly rooted with the super user app installed, then reboot the phone and go to step 5.
3. If Kingo Root reports that the phone is successfully rooted but you don't see KingUser or SuperSu installed, then you have to proceed with some other steps to complete the rooting process:
a. Place a copy of the extracted CWM recovery.img into a folder on your Windows computer
b. Connect the phone to the computer via USB cable
c. Open a windows command prompt at the directory where the CWM recovery.img is stored on the computer
d. Execute the adb commands: 1) adb reboot bootloader 2) fastboot boot recovery.img (this will TEMPORARILY run CWM on your phone)
e. Once CWM is running on your phone in recovery mode, you can now flash the SuperSu v2.46.zip from the SD card
f. Your phone is now fully rooted
4. Reboot the phone normally (CWM was only temporarily being run in order to flash the SuperSu zip...we will permanently flash the CWM recovery onto the phone in the next steps). Be sure you have a copy of the CWM recovery.img on the SD card.
5. Download a Terminal Emulator from the PlayStore (or however you please) and install it on the phone.
6. Execute the following while in Terminal Emulator:
a. su
b. flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img
7. You're all set with CWM permanently on the phone. Note that the first 4 steps above were simply to root the phone. The CWM installation is trivial once your phone is properly rooted.

Hi, can anyone help me on rooting my lenovo A706. I have framaroot even the latest version (1.6.0) but still my devices isn't rooted yet. I think the problem was i have updated OTA twice before seeing instructions on how to root my device.
can anyone help me?

This is my method how to root Lenovo A706 using Fastboot without flashing your recovery.
WARNING: It may void your phone's warranty. DO AT YOUR OWN RISK.
>>Step 1: Download CWM and flashable root zip file in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2391801
>>Step 2: * Unzip the CWM and copy recovery.img in "platform-tools" folder in Android SDK if you have it.
* Copy the Flashable root zip file into your root of External SD Card
>>Step 3: In your phone, Enable USB Debugging. (Settings > Developer option > Switch on the the slider button of Developer option then check the USB debugging and Allow mock locations) then connect your phone in to your PC.
>>Step 4: SHIFT + Right click on "platform-tools" folder and then select "Open command window here".
>>Step 5: In command window, type adb reboot bootloader then your phone will reboot into fastboot mode.
>>Step 6: type fastboot devices. You can see your device in cmd "MSMXXXXXX fastboot mode" or whatever.
>>Step 7: type fastboot boot recovery.img. You can see that your phone is rebooted into CWM Chinese recovery.
>>Step 8: In the menu, choose the 2nd option. i cannot remember but if you see the option which have a word "SDCARD" or "SD", then that is what im talking about. hehehe
>>Step 9: Select the flashable root zip file then BOOM. Your phone is rooted. In CMD type adb reboot to reboot your phone then you will see the Superuser has already installed.
**************SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH.. Base on my experience, i cannot reflash the CWM after updating my ROM. so i used this method and my phone now is already rooted.

root Lava E-tab ivory 702 tablet ,

i successfully tested on my lava ivory tab this method so dont worry
1] download pd-net driver and install it. choose 'other' 4th option during installing
2]connect tablet make sure usb debugging is on
3]download vroot (use latest version preferred 1.7.4 version) .
install it and open
it recognized tab click on root after complete process tablet going automatically reboot
then check superuser in tablet or verify using root checker
4] superuser is in chinese so replace it
here is the method:
this method i found on w0lfdroid
i] download android terminal emulator from google store
and
ii] download replace_vroot_with_superSU zip file
zip file extract on internal storage in flolder
give the folder name mrw
then open terminal emulator and type : su
then type on next line : sh /sdcard/mrw/root.sh
then tab going reboot
after rebooting you will find chinese superuser replace by superSU
* problem with tablet recognized then try also install adb driver
if any problem

[Root][Cwm Recovery] Zen Ultrafone u303 3G

For Rooting the device use kingoroot app either from pc or device.
follow the app instruction.
once rooted, you should take a backup using SP flash tools
Refer to this guide for a detailed instructions for taking a backup.
Now installing cwm recovery using fastboot method
1. you must have fastboot set up Guide here
2. After setting up you should be in C:\android\android-sdk-windows\platform-tools
3. Download and save the recovery.img from attachment to the folder
4. Right click on a blank space of the window to "Open command prompt here.
5. Connect your device to the PC. And type the following into the command window above to boot your device into bootloader/fastboot mode:
adb reboot bootloader

from here if you want to change to supersu and remove kingosuperuser you can download from

paste in internal sdcard,

There are Two Main Steps:
1. Getting Temporary Root
2. Flashing TWRP and Rooting Permanently.
PROCEDURE:
Note: I do not own any of rooting file. Those all are available on chinease site/host.

this is not permanent root, bcoz of locked bootloader. Root permission reset whenever your phone reboot. To gain
root access again you need to adb installed on PC and run root app from adb.

Follow These Steps:
-Enable USB debugging Option from Developer menu
-Install Some Apk from root.zip file
-Now open "openRP" app
-You see just gray screen with "openpr" text.
-Connect phone to PC (Transfer file mode), open cmd.bat file from adbfolder which you downloaded.
-Run command adb reboot
-Now you see Factory mode text appear on boot screen. No problem
-Now your Note 5 is successfully rooted
-Open cmd.bat file again. And run

You see "#" sign, that means Phone is rooted.
-Now we will install superuser.
-Open cmd.bat file, and type

-Open Magisk Manager app that you installed from apk folder.
If you see below screen that means you successfull installed supersu
-Now lets check that Note 5 is rooted or not with Root checker.
-Open Root checker app. and Grant permission for Root check.
-And Finally wait is over
When you reboot phone you need to gain root access again.
so open cmd.bat and type

Note:Whenever you open open RP app your phone will switch to factory mode.
2. FLASHING TWRP AND ROOTING PERMANENTLY:

Then Open Rashr App And Give Root Access
Then Select Recovery Option As Shown In Screenshot
Now Select Recovery File
After Pop Up come Like Screenshot Click On Yes
Now After Flashing Recovery It Ask You To Boot In Recovery Select Yes
Now You Successfully Boot In Twrp Recovery
Now Swipe Allow Modification Option After Allowing Go Back To Main Twrp Recovery
Then Select Install option
Now Go Where You Store Super Su Zip File And Select
Now Swipe To Install Super Su
Now Wait For Installation Finished Then Select Reboot Option
Now It Ask To Install Twrp App Select
Do Not Install Option
And Reboot Your Phone
Now Open Root checker App And Check
Congratulations Now Your Phone Permanently Rooted

Q: I tried the method, didn't work.
A: Well try again, it works.
Q: I bricked my phone, it is stuck at the logo.
A: Flash Stock Firmware via Fastboot or Flash Tool.
Q: Is the bootloader unlocked?
A: No, As on 19th November 2017 - Bootloader is still locked and no way to open it.
Q: Will i still get warranty?
A: Yes only if you flash Stock ROM via Flash tool again.

Please List the total commands properly.
I am unable to find the commands to enter.
In cmd when i entered the command "adb reboot" it is showing that there is no recognition of adb ....is it the drivers problem ?

If you can access TWRP, do reboot to bootloader and flash Stock Rom, this method was tested Super Moderator of Coolpad Forums and it worked perfectly.
I don't know why it didn't work for you.

Hi it works in coolpad canvas 3636a.. But only is temporary.. I have not found twrp to coolpad canvas 3636a.. I don't know what twrp put it

After use above procedure to root coolpad note 5
The bug is usb debugging is not work
And when enable usb debugging and media transfer for transferring data isn't work whlie usb debugging is disabled..
