Disable DATA keeping MMS enabled - T-Mobile LG G2x

I'm testing a lot of ROM to find the best rom for me. I think that ICS Genesis Beta9 is the one. But, i'd like to find a feature that was on MIUI : keep the possibility to receive MMS even if the DATA are desactivated. If someone can tell me if there is a way to do it.
Thanks!

Like using wifi instead or what?

More like keeping 3G open for MMS but other data can't use it (the 3G connection)

I have never seen or heard of this even when i had a MIUI rom for a couple months. Seems very innovative though i wish they did this by default!

I guess you could download a type of firewall and just block every other program from using data.

Circle Battery [OTA Froyo]

First of all: I did not make this myself!
Found this a while ago for the DjDroid Android 2.2 Release packed together with WiFi-N Driver and some other stuff.
I just repacked this, so only the Circle-Battery is installed without the other stuff around.
All Credits to the developer (name not known)!
This should work on odexed and de-odexed ROM's afaik.
Of course, you see the amount of battery remaining in percent in the middle of the circle.
EDIT:
Sorry for the trouble at the moment. Seems like the Update forces you, to reenter the Mobile-Network APN Settings. I will try to fix this

Thanks for uploading this.
I just installed it though, and I appear to have now lost my HDSPA icon. Instead I get a picture of a phone with 5 bars underneath it?
Hi debug77,
would be helpful, if you could post a screenshot of this. Please let me know, what kind of ROM you got running, perhaps I can help you with another file fitting for your ROM

how many devices on wireless ap??

i tried searching and googling but couldn't find the answer i was looking for, has anyone tried to see how many devices the wireless ap on our phones can serve?
If you're using the Mobile AP built into the leaked 2.2 ROM then there is no limit imposed. It's just the practical limit of how much bandwidth can be extracted from a pretty small pipe.

Not true. It specifically tells you it has a 5 device limit.

[FIREWALL]working one needed help

History:
I used droidwall on gb and firewall was working fine, but when I upgraded to ics(cm 9b11 and mini cm 9#3), it worked on boot and then for a while and then after a couple of hours(not sure when.. usually after 3 to 8 hours later) the firewall rules just go off..they don't work anymore..
Also tried: afwall..same issue.. can't get a log.. coz I don't know at which time the rules go off..
Any help is appreciated..
Thanks in advance.
Here is a full (not much is seen in my eye)log, when a blocked opera mini accesses mobile data:

Not completely solved, but avast is working fine(fully and completely)...
Problem is Android ics... disable(restrict) mobile data as per limit in settings...disable that...it'll work fine... avast has methods to bypass this.. thanks for viewing this thread everyone..
Have a great day...
Enjoy..
PS: Just because devs don't answer your questions.. don't get angry /frustrated on them...
Coz they are the ones who do all the heavy work... and even give up(testing first.. taking all the damage.. and even losing thier phones(hard brick))their phones for the sake of development .

Very cheap and Good Joystick solution.
Working Perfectly after one year of My Regular usage
I recommend this stuff
It calls "MOCUTE".
Don't know why, but now can't share the pictures, seems like I used my limit on XDA for this day, but atleast possible to create some warning message, because some People don't understand what's happening
?
Ok so finally I think I will upload pictures…

Not yet
I think they gonna make a new update to fix all their problems.
A couple of my friends also suffer from that
Yes I also have this problem since updating
I also had this problem, it was driving me mad for a long time, but after many hours I have discovered that you have to turn on miui optimization in developer options, to make the app links work again.
have o look at developer options/ down to "Miui optimizing" switch. Is it set to on? If not, change to on and reboot.
Maybe this could fix the problem.

I found this solution, and worked fine for me:
