I just plugged my Tab Plus and was notified a new firmware is available. I can only guess that it's ICS since it's still updating, currently at 60%. At last!

Success flashing
I notice that the update is also available at sammobile I did flash from ICS UK to ICS US without problems, the only thing that I don't like is that the ebook app is now not available at my country (Costa Rica)
Which is US wifi only? I see Cellular South but nothing else. I had flashed the UK version but would like to use US. I tried update on the tablet and received "process failed" for the update
here for the us wifi only

Thank you
If you encounter problem with stock browser after update, you have to clear data in application settings.
Is there any difference between the UK and US version?
Ohhhhh that means the update will soon hit for the P6200 model! Awesome news indeed! Can't wait for it
not really

Not really, I notice that Readers hub was removed (That means Kobo and zinio are not installed by default) beyond that is "visually" the same, Not sure if there are some "internal" improvements, but it's just 0,07 Kb bigger than the latest ICS UK firmware
Where can I find the US version of ICS firmware for my galaxy tab 7 plus wifi. Pls, help. I am new member of XDA community
Well, in theory, it should arrive via KIES for the PC or you can check for it using your tab. Go to Settings/about this device/Software Update and check their server.
Personally, I'm still waiting for the update. I chatted with Samsung and they said that they were rolling out the update in batches and to be patient. grrrr.
An alternate way is through some celluar site. You'll have to dig around for that thread.

Use Kies, then. It is pretty straightforward - I was brand new to it, downloaded it from the Samsung website, installed, plugged in my device, waited about 2-3 minutes (didn't need to "sync" anything), and it said there was an update. I hit "ok" through the process, and in about 15 minutes or less, I had ICS.
It is now official. Just check your updates now.

There is an official out right now,if you are waiting for your specific country update, who knows? I have a canadian n8010 and sammobile dosen't even show a firmware at all on their site,ICS or JB so i'm getting these official updates the long way.If you are waiting for OTA it could be forever in the world of electronics.Do a nandroid backup(that way you will have a copy of exactly what you started with)then you can do anything after and always be able to go back if and when an official for your country is released.Hope this helps.

See Post Two .
jje
There's now two full 411 builds for the n8010 wifi note10 on sammobile.
The lk9 dbt rom contains the csc for the uk devices.
Regions supported are : Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom
It works fine on my btu (uk) device without changing csc
There is also a ll3 rom for china/hk which is a lot newer build, not tested it though.
Is the update coming soon???? As it now sais access to the software update is provided to the users in which they request it try again later. Summit along them lines it sais that

That just means the servers delivering the OTA update are overloaded. In the past when I have got that message on my SGS3, I have then managed to update through Kies. Otherwise, you may just need to wait a day or two till the servers are less loaded.

Hey guys. Just got an LTE version of the Notepro. I went to update it, first thing. It says that my software version has been modified and that updates are not available. Having just unpacked the device. Is this something i should be worried about or just send it back?

Basically its a german lte version. They all seem to be affected. If samsung does fix this, could the update go through, despite this message?
Checked knox and its stil 0x0. So this is a bug.
Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
But in the case they fix this could an update go through via Ota or kies, even when it says this.

All my Samsung devices are rooted, and none take the OTA with the same "your device has been modified" error. All are upgradable through Kies without any issue. Just went to KK on my S4 and Note 10.1 (2014) via Kies without any problems at all.

KK is KitKat (4.4.2 for the S4 and Note 10.1). Yes, Kies seems to bypass even the knox counter. *IF* it is confirmed that all the German LTE devices are doing this, I would not worry. If it's just yours, I'd send it back. But if it is all of them, you will always be able to update via Kies and I would suspect the first update would fix this OTA issue.
I have the same problem with mine, Italian Note Pro LTE. After the first OTA the status changed to Modified. I have also tried with ODIN to reflash, but it is still Modified. Obviously the Note Pro has not been modified or rooted in any way.
It seems a common problem.

Hi. If we want to update thorough Kies and we are on custom recovery, should we first flash stock recovery?? Thanks.

Kies doesn't use recovery.

I read in the Singapore hardware zone forums that they too had ths problem with the LTE version. With the latest March (Singapore is one of the first to get it), the problem was fixed. They were able to fix it with an OTA update. So my advice for now is just hang in there untill the update arrives. I for example just returned my unit and waiting for the update.

Use Odin
Link for the FW.
Follow this link for the firmware update.
It has the most recent update available for our phone other than OTA. It is 5.1.1 and there are instructions and a link to the ODIN software.
I finally got it to work, thanks anyways I'm on og7

The link above has OG5. Good. Smartswitch gives you OG7. Better. OTA is OG9. Required for Samsung Pay.
Question: How long does it take for Smartswitch version to catch up to OTA?
Answered my own question. OTA was on 10/16. Today on 10/23, OG9 is available on Verizon Software Upgrade Assistant. I assume Smartswitch would've also had it if i tried it first.
