Hi,
With a rooted stock Telstra Au MZ601 running the recent ICS 4.0.4 there is no longer the 'Sync Picasa Web Albums' feature in the Gallery.
This was a handy feature for me. Does this work for anyone else? Is it working in the EOS ICS or JB rom?
I pushed picasasyncadapter.apk from another rom - this gives the option but still no joy.
Anyone have a solution? I don't use Google+ if that's relevant

Yes I have same problem on my MZ604 after official update and missing "only video listing" feature in gallery too ;(

It looks like Moto omitted this feature for non US Xooms, I have noticed that the Picasa Album apk is missing from system apps, if someone can post it we can try to install it and see whether it brings this function back.

I try the Google+ for manage my pictures but i uninstalled after 2 min because this app a disaster! Really miss the content filtering (pics or video listening) and unused picure hiding for me ( Therefore I drop the stock gallery and now i using Gallery ICS with many bugs

Does someone have probles with facebook app? I installed and reinstaled serval times an allways same problem, it force closes when I go to the list of friends. Can someone confirm me that they can go to hte list of friends on fb app...

the app doesnt work very well so i have been using the browser. I mean this things got a wide screen so its not that bad in the browser.

Just got 2 new shortcuts, a bit of UI changes and the speed got improved a bit.
I'm not to big for the extra icons added but luckily I'm using another app for camera that isn't labeled camera like the one included with the update. Noticed the speed boost too

ICS contact photos sync?
Now when linking FB to contacts, I now get contacts photos syncing correctly on the Galaxy S2 running stock Samsung ICS 4.03. Before the 1.9 update it wouldn't display a picture (though it did work on Gingerbread). That was the only thing bugging me since upgrading to ICS. I've heard that on the stock Galaxy S2 roms Samsung had removed the ability to sync to FB, just like on the Galaxy Nexus. So i'm not sure whether its due to FB finally using the new API's or whether it just works on Samsung ICS firmware. Anyone know?

To hide the new icons, use a launcher that will let you hide them. LauncherPro has this feature, as does 360 Launcher. Not sure who else.
Now where's my $1 million? Haha.
Facebook 1.9 is okay... there are some UI tweaks around the app, nothing major though. Commenting on an image seemed a little more straightforward, and the comment box looked different.
If you want an ICS-themed Facebook app, look up Fast Facebook. It was just featured on Lifehacker yesterday, but I got it a week or two ago here on XDA. Should be able to find it in this very (sub)forum. I don't care for the UI but it is faster.

Oh this really annoyed the hell out of me.if I wanted to install Facebook messenger I would have I I wanted to use a camera that links directly to facw book and crashes every time I open it I'd install a separate app.
Facebook needs to split the apps out and let us install the ones we want.
I'm hopefully not the only one but I've just uninstalled the app and bookmarked their mobile site in my browser and installed someone else app.
I'll have to use something else to sync photos
mez, you can use haxsync to sync photos if you are in ICS.
BTW does this version sync your facebook contacts (with their pictures) correctly in ICS?
Thanks. Haxsync has been mentioned before. I think it'll be one of the first few apps that I buy. I don't want to put my credit card on Google checkout just like I haven't on Xbox or iTunes or my wii yet I can still buy paid content of all of them
Android needs gift cards.
I'm using tweetdeck for fb and contact photos seems to sync with my contacts from Gmail anyway. They don't update but its a start.
I can live without the fb app for now.

Hello,
I really like the stock ICS Contacts application and although I love CM9, I feel that without the hardware decoding then GB roms will be better. So I'm wondering if anyone could port the stock ICS contacts app for Gingerbread etc?

There are already clone sms app. Its called ICS messages, but don't know about the quality. I stopped using it after first sms because it can't process special characters and accented letters into gsm mode.

Nope. Only ICS SMS only.
Ever since I downloaded 2 Jelly Bean roms, when I go to edit a picture in Instagram, the picture keeps chopping out to the point where I can barely see the picture as I'm trying to edit it. Then when I go to report it on email on GooglePlay, it always tells me there's an error when I hit email. Then it force closes. What do I do??
Having this same issue. Theres a ridiculous lag when trying to edit photos in instagram all i get it a grey screen

Running AOKP 4.1 this was a problem for me, but then i updated to AOKP 4.2 and the problem disappeared. I think it was an actual problem with the ROM itself. Try updating if you can.

Anyone having fc issues when trying to do a video call in hangouts?
having same issue, its still new and isnt the final release so ill assume itll be fixed by the time the nexus 5 gets shipped or later
How about Group MMS for you guys? MMS to one person works great, but trying to send a group message or pic doesn't send and then force closes over and over again until I clear the data...
Also, changing the Lang in Google Search doesn't seem to fix the voice search error...

Mms issue I'll take a look at
As for the Google search issue. What language did you change it to? Also if you reboot it'll reset and you have to do it all over again, also if you change the language you have to say the phrase in that language to get it to open

Wow I like the camera. Its actually forces the camera to focus and therefore takes nice pictures. I absolutely hate the samsung camera app. who cares for a camera to take near instant pictures if it cant take nice photos.
Every one who is having Mms issues on hangouts what ROM/Kernel are you guys using. I have one person who confirmed it is working and is on stock deodexed mf9 with stock kernel

i havnt found the phone apk yet and it might or might not work as it has alot of added features and might be reliant on the 4.4 OS
