One problem
Couldnt unlock SIM! Screen whent off after 10 segs. And asked me every time I turned it on..to put the pin again.
Then I put the SIM in another cellphone, removed pin...and that worked.
Weird.
yeah after some browsing i arrived at the same solution disabling pin in another cellphone i guess it has something to do with the network you´re using and what sim card they use but you should probably fix this, its very annoying
One more thing, while switching to "memory card access"

Fallout Evolution V5.0.0 ROM
Ok,
It's about time I join the fray. This is a HTC One V port, based on RUU 2.08.401.2 - release keys, with parts from the latest ICS leak for the DS. Most importantly, the 3.0.16 stock HTC kernel. It's not the source code, so no major adventures on the kernel side, but it will have to do for now.
Fallout includes its set of tweaks and Fallout Tweaks manager. Improvements are constantly being done, check the detailed description for what is currently included.
As of V4.0.0, Fallout evolved towards Sense 4. Not by importing framework from other roms/devices, but by modding the original Primo Framework and turning on hidden features.

Installation Instructions:
- Full wipe mandatory if coming from anything other than Fallout. IF you are upgrading Fallout, no wipe required other than the usual Dalvik cache for luck.
Again, If you are not upgrading from previous Fallout, full wipe is mandatory.

Most Common Questions
Q: My Phone shortcut is missing from the lockscreen. You suck.
A: Drag it from the app drawer to the dock, it's missing there too. It will magically appear on the lockscreen too.
Q: My weather lockscreen stopped responding and I cannot unlock the phone. You suck.
A: That's a bug I'm trying to fix. Meanwhile, pull down the notification bar and click "settings", that will unlock the phone. Change lockscreen type or reboot. Any of those will make the lockscreen work again. This happens quite randomly, doesn't happen to me for days, and for some users doesn't happen at all.
Q: My phone does not record on Full HD, only 720p. You suck.
A: It is not supposed to. The Desire S has no such capability. That option only appears on the camera because I tricked it to thing it was a One S, just ignore it. I could make the option go away, and I'll eventually do that, but it takes time I would rather use fixing real issues, or adding stuff. Meanwhile, some common sense on the users would be nice.
Q: I flashed this rom, and now WiFi does not work. I can't even get online to tell you that you suck.
A: If you unlocked your phone with HTCDev, you must flash boot.img from the ROM separately with fastboot. Search around for instructions. You must do this for every rom that has a different kernel than the one you are running prior to flashing.

Right im on, So far so good, USB mount works, USB tethering works, wifi works, wifi hotspot doesn't obviously. one thing, menu button doesnt work at Home, works so ar everywhere else but not HTC sense Home. Camera taking pictures no problem. doesnt force clode either. front camera dont work dah. so for so good. by far my favourite sense 4.0a now only thing to test. games and bluetooth (properly)

Camera works fine, Video sorta. if put at highest resolution it crashed after recording, but saves video still, however will need to stop camera process to open camera again. also if on widescreen the video can make the camera app unresponsive once finished recording

tried a mirror app first, front camera work and it took a picture succesfully, Skype worked as well
Downloading right now. I used proxusers rom the other day and can confirm that the front camera is working with Skype and 3rd party apps. Maybe there are still driver problems inside the stock HTC cam for the One V itself. Nevertheless Sense 4A feels really smooth and fast.
Sadly I miss some things I used in Endy and now in sense 3.6 like changing the number of homescreens (I only use 3), the transparent dock and some more. I know is stock behavior so nothing to care about but I hope to see some custom settings in future roms.
So far - thanks a lot for the Rom. And for the good things to come in the future.

Thanks for the reports about the camera guys. I assumed that it just wasn't working due to the primo framework not containing the correct hooks. I'll try to checkout the camera app for issues tomorrow.

It features more governors and schedulers than stock KQI kernel, Virtual RAM (SWAP) possible, HQ photo's, it contains by default a lot of tweaks like V6 Supercharger, Tunderbolt, Zipalign, Battery and SD Card Improvement etc.
For this reason no tweak scripts ar loaded on init.d folder, because apply tweaks twice can produce strange behaviours, so be careful to load additional (and in some cases unuseful) tweak packs with this kernel!
The main advantage using this kernel is UNDERVOLT capabilities, that permits to improve battery life maintaining a good performances level.
See 3rd post a guide and suggestions to apply good voltage values.

SkyHigh Kernel Voltage tweaks
A good way to improve battery life is to apply some undervolt to CPU.
On stock kernels is not possible to change the voltage, to do this kind of operation is necessary to use modded kernels like SkyHigh or Vitality.
Personally I prefer SkyHigh because there's no issues with SD cards (but if you like you can follow this suggestions also for Vitality).
To set voltages you need to use apps like, IncrediControl, SetCPU, AnTuTu CPU Master, etc... search them on play store
Looking on the following graphic, you can see that SkyHigh kernel does by default (red line) a little undervolt on high clocks compared to stok kernel (black dotted line),
on low clocks the SkyHigh kernel voltage is equal to stock kernel.
My Idea is to try to use more lower voltage values, and based on my esperience using Castagna's Kernel on ICS roms I've seen tha my device works very fine with Extreme UV version.
So I've applied the Castagna's EX-UV voltages values to SkyHigh with absolutely no failures. (See green line).
As you know no all devices are identical, some are more low voltage friendly, some with too low voltages does not boot or not works properly.
So maybe instead to use EX-UV voltages you may try Castagna's standard UV values (blue line) that on high clocks is equal to standard SkyHigh.
Or maybe using intermediate values between SkyHigh defaults and Castagna UV / EX-UV.
Hint: after setting voltages vaules prior to stick them @ boot, do a normal usage of your phone for some hours, play games, run benchmarks to do some kind of stressing, verify that the phone is able to wake-up from deepsleep etc... If in normal usage yor are facing to some problems try use less agressive undervolt values, find right UV values is not easy but I think that playing with values between red and green lines of previous graph can be a good starting point.
Hint2: If you're not a gamer and your primary goal is battery saving, limit the clock to 1.4 GHz if you're using SkyHigh kernel.

I've used stock KQI kernel... the only *improvement* is init.d support.
If you want, you can use custom kernels, I suggest witality or Feacore with OC, and why not also Broodkernel 1.3 that support OC also.

In any case it seem's (at least to me but maybe I'm wrong) to that stock KQI kernel is a bit better thant stock KQI, specially for how it concern battery consumption.
In fact I'm waiting comments about battery drain from who decided to test my rom.

FM Radio for Inspire 4G
I like the ROM in my AT&T Inspire 4G- fast, stable uses less memory than many other ROMs. But what about the FM radio? I don't see it, and I would use it.

I have tried a lot of roms, trying to get something stable, with good quality and android 4.0 or later; i have not found any, now am sitting looking at this rom wondering if i should try, but first i wanna know how is the sound quality, does it have the perfect quality as the stock rom? Now, the next best to the stock i have seen is the sabsa prime v16 but whenever i turn on wifi the phone restarts, so now am rom hunting again, please give advise....

I did a full wipe (including format system), did not install 3.0 version - just installed 4.0. This rom is great except for FM radio not there and you tube broke.
Using radio 12.69a.60.29U_26.17.14.11_M. Everything else works far as I can see.

Bugs:
Missing HW composer.
Native USB tethering doesn't work. Use a third party app (tested: android-wired-tether).
The inbuilt Wi-Fi hotspot can be used only once, sometimes more, and after that a reboot is required to use it again. You can though use this modified version of android-wifi-tether, reboots are not required.
HD video playback suffer low framerate issues.
The 720p preview framerate is intentionally limited, especially while recording. The recorded video is (almost) fine.
There are some lags in the preview while video calling with the front facing camera
Poor bluetooth headset sound quality. (I don't own a bluetooth headset, hence it's very hard for me to find the problem)
First Install From a base CM 10 A4 or A5 only !!!

1. This ROM will wipe data due to different partitioning. The device would reboot while flashing and resume again.
2. Once on this ROM, the most effective way of going back to any other ROM would be to repartition from Odin.
3. While converting the filesystem, your efs that has your IMEI is backed up to /emmc/backup/efs. Keep a backup on your PC just in case.
4. Incase if you don't get a network signal, check if your IMEI and Baseband are proper. If not, go back to stock and try again.
5. Do NOT use Odin to flash Modems. Due to different partitions, Odin will screw up your existing MTD setup.

Rom is smooth, battery is impressive(4 hrs -1% on standby)...best if can include notification drawer with go to sleep, toggle gps, sync, wifi...battery % if possible...ram reading is 287 used after installed...again thank you for a fine job done.

Need for Speed™ Most Wanted really bad but I swapped with a class 1 so I'm not an expert on big game
I tested SubwaySurf consumes about 150 MB and I found comfortable
there is a test you can do is to remove (put aside) all tweaks in init.d folder
I honestly have not time to see the difference

this rom can run subway surfers smoothly? Sounds promising.. I tried frankenstainmod, and its running subway surfers fine too.. given that its GB and not CM, so maybe thats the reason. but does anyone know which one is smoother, frankenstainmod or this rom? I wanted the smoothiness.. don't really mind about the CM features. Perhaps someone here tried frankenstainmod before and able to notice the differences..? thankss
