Bro thanks for MIUI porting. we can check this rom but could you please be expandable. means spanshots, few more details like Camera or Used kernels..?? any additional features. coz everybody is lilbit irritate in Galaxy R forum due to ICS delay & few dev support. It's based on Epysys CM7. That means same kernel and the some problems like camera.

How did you flash this one? I have tried to flash using CWM. But said, cant opened zip file. BAD..

Nup buddy, using 5 version of adam77.. so is there other option to flash? Also, can camera bug fixed?
Well, tested it and here's my report.
I've always loved the MIUI and its beautiful UI!
What works except what's in the OP:-
Themes
Music Player [Use PowerAMP in order to detect your songs].
Like the OP said, this ROM is very very unstable!
What I've found is that after you send a message/whatsapp message or make a call, or use TitaniumBackup to restore something, it goes into bootloop.
In order to get back in OS, you have to re-insert the battery. There is no other way.
There are many force closes. If you are using SIM Lock, you won't be able to type the code as the code window closes in a matter of seconds due to force close. That means you won't get any signal.
Hoping to get stable ROM from you buddy. Keep up the good work! :good:

Use CWM 5.

It's based on Adam's CM10, so what ever is working in CM10 will only work in this also...
so nothing is working for now except boot and some minor things but soon we will get :fingers-crossed:.....

Hey buddy, We all like MIUI..bt problem is still there that we can download & flash bt it will b like dummy phone which can touch & slid..

I've also performed a logcat but without phone and mms.
I don't know how to do a logcat from the computer, so i've pushed a logcat tool to system/app...

I cant test wifi 3g etc because i dont gave this device!
If you want to go back to the original samsung rom only flash the rom not the. Pit file!

You must only install cwm recovery and flash this rom

Great rom thank you very much . Works smooth and fast .....
Just switched to this rom from cm10, so far it IS better than cm! It is snappier, faster and lag-free. Altough for me, the system setting is force closed when try to open the brightness and volume option in system setting.. Also at first it didn't include messaging app, but after downloading mms.apk from xda the problem solved. One more thing somehow the gps is not really accurate for me
For those above, sending and receiving message works, phone call works, 3G works, but havent tried wifi yet..
I live in Indonesia and using 3 network provider.

With above issues I don't think so... But seems there are no video issues

Usually, all MIUI ports are based on CM9 and of course, all ports have the same issues that CM9

The first step when the port is flashed is select the language (only 2 in chinese and English) and location (some countries but Spain is not in the list).
Swype is FC constantly and I can't disable it
Come back to recovery and restore my backup, sorry

Yes, It solve swype FC but this port is CM9 and I use video recording with my kids so...I can't stay in a ROM on whith any video recording issue.
I hope that somebody solve a video recording issue in CM9 and I'm sure that I will enjoy with it.

What is AOSP..??
AOSP means Android Open Source Projects.
Why I download this one if I have CM10/CM10.1, Its same like that. So why?
AOSP is similar like CM but it is pure, used vold and RIL from CM.
I Stuck in bootanimation which dont seems to be like AOSP..??
Yes, It take 5 min(max) for reaching at Home screen. Also, it doesn't have Boot Anim. It has by default bootanimation.

Fixed storage by using cm10.1 kernel... Downloaded apps and everything is fine.. No sensors working... Will check those at tonight...
I will be very slow in development as need to give more time for family But will be active here...

I dont think we can call it beta. It still have major important things like camera and BT not working. Beta means some minor fixing and tweaking is to be done.

Some 60 downloads of the file, but no feedbacks here.. I know it is Alpha and you can't use it as daily ROM but bug can be reported here..
I did the repo sync again and used teamhacksung repo but unfortunately it didn't boot.. I think it is fully compatible with CM and need to do some changes for AOSP.. I will try it later...
Now trying with my backup device folder... will report if camera and hwcomposer work...
Will try to give a new year gift

can we have latest build file..?? so that I can update the same in OP with BT fixed..??or you need to take HW acc & camera fixing time then..??
I will try my best to fix HW acc and camera.. If I am not able to fix it, i will release Alpha - 2 on monday.. If i fixed, anytime i will release..

NO MORE Lags on lockscreen!
Fixed names of internal storage and sd card.
System works much better, check by yourself!
Now MIUI has it's own original keyboard which is great.
I replaced MIUI's superuser with SuperSu - people asked me fo dat.
MIUI Themes are working!
I also replaced bootanimation with beautifull one.
More free RAM.

Install Crossbreeder to make MIUI faster
This app will help you with lack of ram
And install Fluid Engine too, link is given below.
Bugs:
- Long press home shows minimalized apps, not recently launched apps like befire (not bug but should be mentioned)
- Sometimes rom may behave slowly. I do not recommend to use default browser.

How to apply theme:
1. Make an account on english xiaomi site and add it on your phone
2. Download themes using Theme app or download .mtz files from forums and place in sdcard/MIUI/themes
3. Open "Themes" and wait for "Local" section to update, then simply apply theme by clicking it

Please bare in mind that MIUI5 oryginally is made for devices with much better hardware. MIUI5 will never be as fast as CM10, not on this device.
We should have custom kernel for CM10 with all optimizations and tweaks like Xperia Arc has.
Please install this after first boot:

I can't make rom bootable, sth went wrong in last modification and now everything is messed up.
I have to pull it from my phone so you have to wait and be patient.

now i want to try downloading MIUI theme.
I don't know if it works without xiaomi account. I'm 100% sure it works with account because I've tried it.
Some themes in market cannot be downloaded because some of them are not for this rom version. But most of them should work fine.
I do not recomment to change font if theme has its own.
are you gonna do this for Miro too?

I have Xiaomi account but i prefer download manual from this site. because in xiaomi store many nice themes must pay for it
