So I bought asphalt 7 on my Nexus with no intention of playing it on there. I side loaded it using Titanium backup and I must say, it looks pretty damn good. The only issue is in the actual menu options in the game. Some of the buttons are a little cut off but it's totally usable. Actual game play is unaffected. Here are a few screen shots.

how good is graphics? does it look good or blurry on that screen resolution? in the first 3 images look like the word "Drift" and "Time left" are blurry.

This is a concept of a Honeycomb app that allows to show an app in "phone resolution":

"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
If Honeycomb is able to resize apps to fit bigger resolutions, why not the other way round to allow some better multitasking?
called cornerstone going into beta pretty soon

Personally i think this is the "great leap forward" that ICS should have had to blow ios out of the
water..
But sadly we are going to have to wait a little for it..

Onskreen is required to be built in into a ROM, which isn't much of a problem if developers can get their hands on it, but for those unrooted ones here, I think Onskreen will never reach our tablets
Galaxy tab 10.1 have something like that (mini applications ) in touch wizard but it is limited to 8 applications only

i would like the same thing, instead of naming this app RAM Slider, you could make it into multiple things like Battery, RAM, Temperature etc.

Hmm okay thanks
can you post screenshot when you're "reading" the article (after you chose the "topic" like technology, design,...)
it looks like this on phone:
on tablet it should look like this: (it has more than 1 tile/block, not only 1 like on phone) [screenshot from flipboard for ipad]:
Downloading Flipboard from Amazon App Store worked for me. Google Play Store said it was incompatible.

I talked to Flipboard. They have the "normal" app and an app for 7" tablets. But they do not offer a 10" version as of now.
I'm going over to the Nexus7 board now and ask if someone there can provide the apk for the tablet version.
I'd like to try how that works.
Although i'm a Flipboard fan on my SGS2 i don't like it on my TF700T. They really should make tablet optimized version.

Shouldn't have to factory reset to get these built in features to work properly.
Google now working fine.
Google now is working fine for me...
But is Google now an option on the top of your lock screen in portrait mode? That's what I'm not seeing. Its there in landscape. Absent in portrait.

Hi all just received my note 10.1 yesterday and I'm very pleased overall with the hardware of the unit but I think android could do with updating more apps to a tablet style layout as I already own a note 2 and everything looks much the same just bigger it would be nice to see app layouts designed better taking more advantage of the larger screen.
Anyway my question is... I noticed the transformer tablets seem to have a different style of YouTube layout which I think looks pretty funky

Is there any way to get my YouTube on my note 10.1 like this?

YouTube on every tablet was like that until the recent update. They have moved from that layout. The transformer is just like ours is now also.
