Please contribute to this thread if you have any information about this Tab.

Who is the original OEM of Auxus 01? What model is this, cuz I want something which is supported at XDA. Custom ROM. Wanna buy a cheap tab, but don't want Funbook. It has lot of battery issues.

Any one cooking anything? Any Root manual or ADB?

Hi, As it is new tab it will take some time to get the support on XDA before that we need to find out original OEM of Auxus 01. I suggest check Ainol site, you might find some traces
But i guess its based on 1.0 GHz ARM Cortex A8 so any custom rom for that CPU might work. Also check VeeDee D13...costs only 5000Rs

iBerry Auxus AX01 OEM Info
Hi,
I have bought the Auxus AX01 Tablet and the OEM of what i think is Topwise. This the link to their website.
Cheers

I tried my best buy can't find the OEM. Checking Top wise. VeeDee D13 is ok, but ax 01 has 1GB RAM. D13 has Box chip CPU, same as SWIPE tel. DOn't know how much apps will support box chip, and is it MIPS instruction set?

Box Chip
Well, it's from Allwinner. An updated version. A13. Not MIPS. SO It must support many apps. Top Wise does not looks like AX01 check the specs.

Hardware

Hands on Experience:
Everything was as advertised. The hardware is already mentioned above. The pack contains all standard equipment and manuals except headphone. Although it is a cheap Chinese product but you get all the things you’d get in any other product.
Aesthetics:
Tablet is very light. You instantly get a plastic feel. The buttons are not so soft. They are as hard as an old cassette player’s button. The charger pin is a little long, it does not completely enters the charging port , not that it makes any difference, but it’s always visible.
Screen:
The display is as good as any other budget tablet with same resolution. It feels it’s a little loose, but perhaps it’s cause I am used to Gorilla glass. The digitizer and screen are quiet far. The DIP is 160.
Touchscreen:
It’s pathetic! Yes I said it. It might be cause I have got a bad unit, but when you use it you immediately find out whats the difference between international standard conforming company like Samsung and cheap knockout product.
You have to press really hard as if it was a resistive screen. The touchscreen misses signal, while moving widgets on screen you have to try many a times, the “birds” are released un expectedly, it takes lot of pain to unlock the the device. Although once you get used to pressing hard it does gets a little better, but you’ll always know that the touch screen is bad. I have used Ployer MOMO 9, it’s touch screen is a lot better
Charging:
Takes nearly 4 hours to charge 100%. The problem is, whe you charge with USB, the screen starts to flicker.
Battery:
I used it with wifi ON…3 hours straight, browsing, music, game play, played video files. The device turns off once battery reaches 5%. There is a problem while charging, the indicator jumps from 5% to 15 % in 5 minutes, I wiped battery stats but no change. Normal usgage will give about 4 hours of back up.
Apps:
This tablet has Google play installed by default; most of the apps that I installed are supported. Market shows most of the apps.

I also got the tablet yesterday and I liked it.
but the main problem is the touchscreen.
it is really bad.
I think iberry manufacturer should be notified of this fault and I hope they fix it with a software update.

Guys,
Have you all tried removing the protective plastic film that comes installed on the Tablet?
If no, then there's no wonder your touch screen sensitivity is bad.
Try doing that and then post an update because i don't find any kind of problem with the touchscreen.

Will you please post your review abhishek, it seem our fellow XDAns having some issues with the touchscreen

I removed the Screen Peel off when I got my tab.
but games like angry birds are not working properly(problems with touch)
BTW don't you guys think that our tab also need Attention as the Ax02 is getting on Xda?
I mean our tab is rooted with su binary and busybox
I installed superuser and updated binary and I got the su permissions properly.
I want to update the busybox so as to use lucky patcher but ax02 users say that updating busybox lead to hang at boot problems so I didn't update busybox.
And I want to know that is there any blog from where we can download WVGA games for our tab?
thanks.

Hv lot of questions!
i want to know Among Funbook P300 nd iBerry Auxus as01.. which I should I pick! Nd which one gives better battery nd performance? ax01 comes with 1gb ddr3 ram which is better than fb.. so is it better? nd among em which one takes less time to get fully charged?? more or less the specs r equal.. bt I am concerned about the battery.. nd which one has better screen????
Thanx in advance!

iBerry Auxus AX01 Review
This is a basic hands on review of the Auxus AX01 7" tablet. (The specs of this tablet are included in the first post of this thread)
Hardware:
1. Performance:
This tablet, for me, was a replacement to the HAIPAD M701-R that I had and broke during a careless disassembly process. The specs of this tablet are pretty good for this price point and I can definitely recommend this tablet as a value for money proposition. I did not feel the tablet getting stuck at any point of time during my usage.
2. Display
The touch screen for the initial 1.5 days of my usage felt extremely bad and I was regretting my purchase. But on looking at the user guide, I found that there was a peel off screen protection on the touch screen that needs to be removed. After removal of the peel off protection, the touch screen felt light and responsive. No problems here in this department for me. The display resolution and colour vibrance however is not as crisp as a Sony BRAVIA mobile display for example. The colours seem a bit washed out at times and don’t possess the richness. On close observation, one can clearly see the pixels spread around the screen. The 800X400 resolution does not help in any way for a screen of this size.
3. Other Hardware
The other hardware includes the buttons and ports all around the tablet. The Home, Back, Menu touch sensitive buttons have good amount of response to them but the lack of backlit under the keys were seriously missed here. You need to rely on your senses to approximate the location of the three keys, Very Difficult at times!
The Volume up, Volume Down, power off physical buttons work as expected and have a nice click to them on pressing.
The power in port, micro USB port, HDMI port and 3.5mm port work as expected. As mentioned in an earlier review by pranjal87, the power jack protrudes a little part of itself out of the power port, a problem that most can live with, no loose connections here.
Charging, as pranjal87 mentioned, takes nearly 3-4 hours to charge to 100%. I did not notice the screen flickering though. (Buyers of this tablet must try the 3 battery cycles method to extract the complete battery capacity. (For the first usage, charge to 100>Use till shutdown; Do this for another 2 times)
P.S: Charging the battery does not take as long now after some battery cycling. Who agrees to me on this?
I do not have the mini HDMI cable, so could not check the HDMI functionality of the tablet.
4. Software:
Out of the box, the tablet had a lot essential pre-installed apps. I liked almost all of them. Free memory in the tablet was around ~500MB at all times with various apps running in the background.
5. Is rooting required?
After reading various forums and using the tablet extensively, I felt that there was little or no use rooting this device. There is not a lot of factory bloatware installed. Root would be good if there were any stable customized ROMs and kernels that would enhance the functionality of this tablet.
6. Battery Backup:
Normal usage would let users enjoy the tablet for 3-4 hours. Mid to heavy usage would decrease that time to around 2.5-3.5 hours.
Hope the review was helpful to all.
Any specific questions can be posted if required.
Cheers!

Even I was confused between Auxus 01 and Funbook
Funbook
Advantage(i didn't used the pro word cuz then you might have confused it with the 10 inch funbook pro worth 9k!!!)
1.Warranty
2.Fully working hardware (specially TOUCH SCREEN)
3.Better 3rd party and xda support
Disadvantage
1.Less RAM
2.Less Battery
GIven a choice, I'd rather buy Funbook now, AUXUS has really depressed me. Other things do not matter utill your touch screen is working. I have given that i.berry seller on ebay a very bad rating ofcourse negative. That guys rathing is falling everyday, mostly cuz of delayed delivery, but there are others who have seen hardware failure. Check out nearly 80 negative review in a month.
On the RAM, I can say you will not find a very huge difference as you would see had you be running a windows pc. Cuz yes, android has a very very bad resource management system.
remeber to press thank button

About MTK MT6575 phone, H5500

i just checked this forum, i find there is no more information about MTK6575, i don't know why, so i just start this thread, and we can talk about the MTK6575 chipset.
it is reported that the newest MTK6575 phone is lenovo A750, but i checked some website in recently, and find one website start to sell the MTK6575 phone, named H5500, i guess you guys may know this news already, but i just see some video on youtube, and share this video here,
http://youtu.be/4ImOD99AHgY
in my opinion, it is better than MTk6573 phones, but it is a new phone anyway, so just view that video, and give your opinions.
hmm, still no one replys, no one is interesting in MTK6575 phone?
It looks good, but I'd wait for Android 4.0 before buying a phone with this chipset seeing as MediaTek announced that it supports ICS.
http://www.mediatek.com/en/News/news_content.php?sn=1052
oh, that's why.
i will continue to notice the MTk MT6575 products, maybe it will come up soon.
Look for zopo zp200

No. 6573 is ARM11 (ARMv6) while 6575 is Cortex A9 (ARMv7). Big difference.
Yeah It will be much superior to the old ARMv6 MTk6573
Hotmid are selling the Lenovo a750 already for $200. The only downsides are it has no camera flash and the Power VRX 531 GPU is pretty dated now. Although it does include dual sim and a 2000mah battery.
http://hotmid.com/lenovo-lephone-a7...screen-android-2-3-dual-sim-mobile-phone.html
I asked about ICS support and they said 'maybe later', so nothing definitive yet. They have also including a bench mark screen shot claiming scores of 2178, which is not bad if true.
ZOPO ZP100 w/ MTK6575
Doesn't look like anyone has had an opportunity to play with a phone using the MTK6575. I just was notified that my shipment of 1 x ZOPO ZP100 has left Singapore. As soon as it arrives, I'll let you know if it lives up to my expectations. I'll do a proper review when it arrives, and compare it to my previous phone, the motorola droid 2 on verizon.
Since the Droid 2 used the omap3630 (cortex a8) @ 1ghz w/ PowerVR SGX530, and the ZOPO ZP 100 uses the MTK6575 (cortex a9) @ 1ghz w/ Power VR SGX531, I'm expecting about a 20% performance increase, which considering a total cost of $210 USD including shipping seems awesome!
I'll be using the unlimited talk, text, web service from straight talk for $45 a month. I think this will be a winning combination!
There are 6+ highly available phones now available using the MTK6575 chip, and I've seen prices ranging from ~$200USD - $300+USD. The only major differences seem to be the cases, and the screen. While the of them have WVGA resolution (480x800), the ZOPO ZP100 has qHD resolution (540x960).
And no, I'm not trying to sell the ZOPO ZP100, just seems to be a fantastic phone, at a very reasonable price.
The highlights of the unlocked ZOPO ZP100 phone are:
·Operation System:Google Android 2.3.4
·CPU:MTK6575 (Cortex A9) 1GMHz ,GPUower SGX531
·4GB ROM+512MB RAM extend to 32GB max
·GSM/GPRS/EDGE/WCDMA HSPA

3G:2100 MHz

6575 is supposed to be Mediatek's ICS chip. Wonder how close are they to the release.

I used to buy dual-sim phone with MTK6753 chip. I was surprised at its good build quality and smooth GUI (I do not play games). However, I was let down by two major things.
1. available ROM for additional applications: it has around 160MB which is too small. Some well-known apps won't be able to move to external microsd card. So I was not able to install some apps due to insufficient internal rom. I would like to buy the MTK6575 phone, but would be nice if the available free ROM is at least around 300-400MB.
2. camera: quality is not good at all. Mine didn't come with auto-focus feature. Hope to get MTK6575 with auto-focus back camera.
Yesterday I had a chance to see the Galaxy Note clone (MTK6573), the build quality and ROM GUI are very nice. It supports auto-focus; but again, the free ROM is just 30MB!.
Thanks in advance for those who would share with me the above issues.

the G11i pro is also based on the MT6573 chipset. this phone has a rom developer working on improving roms. one of thefeatures he added is ext2 file system support. so your free romspace can be as big as you like. read here

Does anyone have an MT6575 phone here? Any feedback with its performance?
Zopo100
I had this phone for almost two weeks now. Superb phone. I love it more than my HTC Evo 3D.
Advantages:
------------
1) Quick boot up. Only takes about 30s to boot up.
2) High quality LCD by Sharp ASV. I would say it's 100% identical to my Evo 3D.
3) Good camera quality, Sony 5MP. Although can't compare with Evo 3D's camera, this camera is unlike those cheapo low quality type commonly found in China phone. It's good, really good but not superb.
4) Dual sim standby but if you're talking on one line, the other line will get busy tone.
5) Great battery life even though smaller battery 1600mAh. I can use almost 24h with both line active. Evo 3D lasted about 12h only with equal usage.
6) Dedicated camera button.
7) High quality finish, up to 90% of HTC's quality. Can easily mistaken as the real HTC if someone pass the phone to you without you noticing the Zopo logo at the back.
8) Minimal RAM usage. I'm getting >300MB free memory out of 512MB after the phone boot up using stock ROM. Evo 3D only have around 230MB free memory out of 1GB!
9) The phone is really fast even though only 1Ghz single core. Zooming in and out, scrolling and clicking on appz was very very smooth.
10) Value for $$$
11) Upgradable to ICS 4.0 end of this month.
Disadvantages
--------------
1) Simple interface/launcher. Uses default ADW launcher (maybe that's why it's faster.
2) No Google Market or Play Store. Need to install myself after rooting it.
3) Rooting the phone is a real pain. Most of the appz for rooting not working. Need to find a rooted ROM from Zopo site and flash it.
4) Can be laggy if the phone is busy reading from SDcard, probably due to single core.
5) Camera button is a single touch. Can't depress a little for focus and fully depress to capture picture.
6) Small internal memory. Only around 500MB available. The rest is mounted as internal sdcard around 2.2GB. Prefers if everything is mounted as internal memory and uses external sdcard as storage.
7) No custom ROM available. No tun.ko drivers, so no VPN for this phone.
8) Can't find any casing that fits this phone because of the reverse position of 3.5mm audio jack and power button. Initially I thought can use Evo 3D's casing.
9) Weak GPU. Plays simple games really well but those 3D intensive might be a little laggy (still playable though).
10) No analog TV commonly a/w China phones.
Anyone who manages to compile tun.ko drivers for this baby kindly pass me a copy as well. Really needs it. Thanks in advance!
Is it upgradable to ics.? I doubt lol

According to Zopo's forum, the admins claimed that new ICS will be out end of this month. They even posted a video of successful incorporation of ICS into their test phone. Hope the info is accurate unless I'm reading wrongly from Google's translation from Chinese to English. LOL!
1 Does skype and gtalk video calls work?
2 flash player?
3 temple runs smooth?
Sent from my HTC HD7 Pro/+ using Tapatalk 2
Zopo100 Antutu Benchmark
I'm sorry. So far haven't try skype and gtalk, as a matter infact, I never did use those on my Evo 3D either. However, this is the only android phone I've encountered so far (among my friends and colleagues) that supports 3G video call just like in those dumb phones. Dunno why HTC phones don't support 3G video call.
I don't use Temple for benchmark but I'll include the scores taken from Antutu Benchmark.
More of the good stuffs:
-----------------------
1) Flash worked flawlessly.
2) Camera has anti-flickering function. Very useful when taking photos of X-rays on the x-ray box with fluorescent tube lighting. Would e useful if you're taking screen shots from CRT monitor and even some LCD screens.
3) The plain vanilla Android 2.3.6 is very stable. Rarely got crashes.
4) Built-in ROM was pretty fast, at least equivalent to Class 6 sdcard. When I use the built-in ROM (automatically mounted as 2.2GB internal sdcard), things ran pretty quick on the phone. Now that I've switch the internal sdcard (mounted as external storage /sdcard2) and my Class 4 32GB sdcard (mounted as internal storage /sdcard), things are noticeably slower now.
More of the bad stuffs:
----------------------
1) The infamous disappearing videos/photos plaguing many android devices also present here but only if you put video/images on /sdcard2. So the workaround is to put video/images on /sdcard.
2) GPS lock takes long time, average 5min from cold start compared to under 1min in my Evo 3D. This is after I've changed the GPS regional setting and enable the EPO function. Even when locked, single is pretty weak. Easily looses lock when cloudy or driving under slightly covered area. Evo 3D GPS lock and signal was superb and the best so far.
3) Good luck in finding custom ROM/kernels. Maybe it's still new and not many users at the moment.
4) Built-in VPN function is a little flaky. Can't use 3rd party VPN appz becaus no compatible tun.ko drivers.
Could be good or bad stuff:
--------------------------
1) There are also no drivers included in the package. Luckily, it's fully compatible with HTC drivers. As a matter in fact, it's being recognized as HTC phone in Windows 7
2)Rubberized outer shell. Feels good and firm when you hold it in your hands. My only worried is that if it becomes sticky later on like what happened to some of my usb drive and writing pens which has a rubbery coating.

Operating System: When it comes to OS, Iconia B1-A71 scores an upper arm with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box as compared to IdeaTab A2107, which is flavored with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform.
Notably, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is equipped with features including Project Butter, enhanced accessibility with new APIs, support for International users with bi-directional text support, other language support, expandable and contractible notifications, resizble app widgets, live wallpaper preview, high resolution contact photos, improved Android Beam and Wi-Fi network.
Camera: In terms of camera optics, IdeaTab A2107 fares well with a 2MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front camera for video calling. On the other hand, Iconia B1 lacks a main camera while houses a 0.3MP front camera.
Storage: In this segment, the Lenovo offering scores more as it comes in three variants - 4GB/8GB/16GB internal storage, 1GB RAM and a micro SD card slot.
In comparison, the Acer tablet comes with 8GB onboard storage, 512MB RAM and a micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB expandable storage.
Connectivity: Both the tablets come with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and micro USB support. Further, IdeaTab A2107 comes with dual SIM support, hence will offer 3G connectivity, which is missing in the Aser offering.
Battery: Iconia B1-A71 is loaded with a 2,710 mAh, the Lenovo offering is powered by 3,550 mAh battery. While, the later battery is technically found to be more powerful than the former, however both the companies claim that the devices will provide up to 8 hours of battery backup. Well, that can be checked only when we receive the tablet for review.
Price: In the pricing segment, Acer has priced the tablet attractively at Rs 7,999 and Lenovo has priced its offering at Rs 13,495.
Verdict
Being budget tablets from leading manufacturers, both Acer Iconia B1 and Lenovo IdeaTab A2107 have decent specifications, thereby making it tough for the consumers to choose. However, each of the two tablets offer some important specs that are lacking in the opponent.
If the concern is on a low priced tablet without any voice calling facility, the Acer tablet with a faster dual core processor and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean experience could be a better option.
However, if the concern is on SIM support, better backup, a rear camera and increased storage options, the dual SIM IdeaTab A2107 should be the right choice.
bought the B1-A71 today, and i am quite satisfied with it's performance for a dual core tablet in 8k budget, and the battery life is pretty good on the first run, doesn't get hot on hours of usage, and the expandable storage does support 32GB cards.

could you please give us information, how long is the battery life on normal usage (with wifi on) doing browsing, gaming, etc?
Go Acer FTW.

Bought it - arrives tomorrow
Acer B1-A71 - The main use for this tablet is as an extended e-reader and in-car computer AIO. I've been expecting for a long time something like this - it has all the connectivity that I'm interested of, it's pretty light and is cheap - meaning that I can turn it inside out without being afraid of losing too much money.
Would be interesting to see on XDA a section for this tablet or for the "cheap" tablets.
I'll post my review here, if someone is interested.
LE after unboxing and first use of the tablet:
About the package: nice and well packed. Inside you'll find a quick guide flyer, warranty manual in all european languages, an international warranty passport, the USB charger (in the EU version it comes with the most common stardard plug), the USB cable and, ofcourse, the tablet.
First look impression: nice tablet, but just way to big black border around the screen (in all is like a 9 inches tablet with a 7 inches screen, just to give you an idea) and all this black border is like a finger prints magnet. It's thick enough to give you a well build device impression and has enough weight to be difficult to hold it by a corner, but with both hands it feels lighter. It has indeed a "crunching" sound if you apply pressure or twist it by the angles and it has a default of design - near the volume rocker it has a bump under the blue line. On my blog you'll see some photos.
The display it's a wow factor for me! Yes, it's a little washed but it's clear, it's like my phone's display (and LG O3D has a 220 dpi display) ad for now I have not noticed any irregularities. The touch screen it's responsive, quick and responsive even if sometimes you'll have to kick twice the same onscreen button.
How it moves? Smooth - till now, with no apps installed, even if the available amount of RAM, with no app running, is only of 160 Mb. Maybe with some rooting and fast reboot we'll have some 100 MB extra. The default browser application (because is installed Chrome browser also) is loading fast pages -those few that I've tried. Youtube is loading also fast the videos and I've noticed that loads the videos with the highest resolution available - it might be my impression.
One thing that I don't like it is that the screen rotation is lagging about a second - but I'm sure that with some root and build.prop editing it can be fixed.
Available space with no app installed is 5.12 Gb.
Camera - it's a bit NO! Even if it is used for video chatting, at 0.3 Mpx is scandalous how grainy it is - too much noise in the image.
The battery - can't say much on it. It came with 29% and in about 25 minutes of powering on and configuring the tablet (with WiFi connected), some demo with browser and youtube, it lost only 1%. And in charging - in 10 minutes or so it got from 28% to 42%.
Overall - I am pleased with this tablet. For my needs it's more than OK. It remains to try out the GPS and bluetooth. I'll keep you informed.

Yes it has a small red led that appears to flash on messages and battery status.
battery life- just got 25hours normally use with WIFI/ data on continuously.GPS seems slow like all chinese phones. 6 inch screen but soft buttons seem to takes up too much room really although you can hide them.Clear speakers. Will continue to post as I test
Recharge 2 hours and 15 minutes on stock charger
Antutu reports 27253 - although with th recent relevations of manufacturers tweeking Antutu I wouldn't be suprised if this is inaccurate. As rear camera is reported as 18.2 mp!

can report battery life seems to have improved, now at 50% when at this point it had run out. Also GPS is much better (after initial slow start) than my Cubot A6589 or my wifes M6589.
Picks up wifi straight away no issues.
have also noticed that this model supports wifi updates. Hopefully this mean no more messing about with SP tools etc.Still deciding weather to root yet,
I can confirm

Fake T200? now there is a thing...chinese manufacturers faking chinese phones! Mind you Thl is very popular in china with apparently over 300 stores.
Got mine from Thl: www.thlmobilestore.com
I have also used Geekbuying (geekbuying.com) as well, never had a problem with what they have sold me, sites a bit inaccurate though (fake Antutu screen shots etc) but thats the norm for chinese sites in my experience, so you have to do your research.

Suggest the T100 then basically the same except 5 inch screen.
Benchmark 41.8 in Epic Citadel at 1920x1080 performance level = "High Quality"

I am also in this website to buy THL T100S.
I received the ThL T200 a few days ago and I have been using it as my main phone. The T200 is a pleasure to use. It has a six inch screen and coming from my previous cubot A6589 (5.7 inch) it does seem much bigger in the hand. however I did own a N9776 and of course I could be getting used to big phones. i'm getting on a bit in years, and I find that smaller screens seem too small for me without my reading glasses!
The design of the T200 follows a common design format for Chinese phones with its black or white back cover and crome trim. The left and right boarder is about 3 mm wide with the usual wider top and bottom boarders.Ear phone jack and micro USB is unusually set into the top edge, In most phones the bottom boader contains the home button etc, but the T200 follows a tablet layout with soft keys taking up the bottom of the screen. You can hide it though so you can free up real estate on the main screen.Power button is on the left with the volume rocker on the right of the phone. The top boarde contains the sensors as usual with a small red LED notification light which illuminates on messgaes, missed calls etc and when requiring or when being charged. chaging to green when sufficient battery power is there.Like the T100S when the disply is off the display blends with surrounding bezels.
The display is a very good 1930 x 1080 full HD resolution. Colour seems good as is brightness of the display. Like the T100S it has a density of 441 pixels per inch, so the screen is sharp and clear. Its not the best Ive seen but at this price it seems a bargin.
The MTK6592 is an octo-core A7 at 1.7 Ghz which certainly moves along at a good pace. I got over 27000 on Antutu although with the recent issues with manufacturers either doctoring read outs or making the OS recognise when Antutu is running, this might be a little misleading but it is certainly in line with other scores Ive seen out there.
For Epic Citadel, the T200 consistently managed 41.8 frames per second (fps) on the High Quality setting. its also quite good considering the GPU is the Mali-450 which isn't the best out there but again I feel one has to take into account the price difference.
I haven't tested the CPU yet but Gary Sims on android Authority has tested the T100S
http://www.androidauthority.com/octa-core-thl-t100s-review-327578/
The battery is a 2500 mAh which for me has given about 1 day 12 hours of normal use (WIFI and data continuously on, phones, bit of film watching and games)so far although it might need some more bedding in. Like the T100S it has a option to limit CPU activity to lengthen battery life. tried both (one charge with it on and one off) and it doesn't seem to make much difference.
2GB RAM + 32GB ROM (translates as 5.77GB internal storage and 22.07GB phone storage
The camera is a 13 mp back camera and the front is 8 mp. Its good but I have seen better, but again you get what you pay for and for general use both cameras are more than adequate.
The phone has OTG which works straight out of the box mounting the drive instantaneously. It also has NFC I haven;t tested this but if it is like its twin the T100S then it should work well.
Overall then the THL T200 is a very good phone in my opinion for the price. It has its weak points but considering the price differential I feel its worthy of consideration.
Thanks for the review. I am still deciding whether to get this phone or Zopo 990+
Nice review.I am also considering the Zopo 990+ because I Would like to have 3G:WCDMA900/1900/2100MHz

Yes Im in the UK so could go for the slightly cheaper option
I got mine in today, been playing around a bit, very nice new toy, I'm impressed with the performance so far.
For those who are interested: It seems to have a form of CWM recovery mode, just keep volume-up pressed while switching the phone on. The power button works as a back button, the vol-up as the 'confirm' button and the vol-down scrolls the menu.
Options available are:
Reboot system now
apply update from ADB
apply update from sdcard
apply update from cache
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
backup user data
restore user data

Software
Phone has 4.2.2 android OS with latest update /17 Jan 2014.
Phone is really fast without any "bloatware" applications installed. Android OS installed is basically clean/stock version of Google 4.2.2 with just few modifications in terms of some Icons.
If you are interested in custom rom's, we need to say that for China version of THL T100(S) there is LewaOS so in future we can expect to have LewaOS for our phone since they use same hardware but just different 3G baseband. This rom and others can be downloaded at Needrom website. For recovery there is CWM&TWRP, for flashing SP Flash tool is used. Phone supports different tools like AirDroid, MTKDroidTools which is really nice.
Hardware
Phone has 8-core Cortex-A7 at 1,7 GHz, GPU: Mali-450 MP4, 2GB of RAM, 32GB ROM + microSD kartice, Two 13 mp camera's and battery at 2300mAh. Display is Full HD with Gorilla glass and so called OGS. It also offers Dual SIM with dual standby. It also has following sensors Gravity sensor, Distance sensor, Light sensor, Acceleration sensor. Build quality is really good 4/5. GPS is also really good 4/5.
Testing
Lets start with "synthetic" benchmarks.
AnTuTu score is 26994 which is 400-500 less than Galaxy S4.
T100S has stronger CPU but S4 has stronger GPU.
At NenaMark with FullHD resolution t100s had 57,7FPS.
At Quadrantu score wass 14796 while S4 had score from 12000 to 13000.
If you are interested in Camera quality check this LINK where you can download unedited photos directly from phone. For video test at 1080 at 720p please check following links. I would give 4/5 for this camera, its more than enough for "regular" users in other than "low light" conditions.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2gqcphSrPk
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWJV56Ak3kw
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dAXw50_dpKA
GPS
GPS is very good, you can see precision at following links.
While driving car - https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B83C36WHdJf8dkhRakZkcEplZ0k/edit
While walking and then bus - https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B83C36WHdJf8UEFmdVhWMFV1dWc/edit
Battery
Phone has 2300mAh battery [at china market there is 2700mAh] battery which should be soon available for sale internationally. In my opinion battery is not strongest but nor weakest point of this phone. In my test It managed to produce 5hours of on screen time while streaming first NBA and then movie directly from my PC which you can see under. In my opinion its more than enough for 24h of average use with 3G WiFi etc.
Conclusion
Phone is really really good. You can compare it with other "brandname" phone like HTC, Samsung and other. Only main disadvantage of this phone is weak WiFi signal. When I contacted pandawill support they said that THL said that first batch of this phones has problem in cover where WiFi antenna is located, so they sent me new one. Now we will mention some + and - of this phone
+
GREAT Full HD display with gorilla glass protection
Great CPU, 2GB RAM and 32 GB ROM
Great Speaker
Fast system, very fluid
Very good GPS
-
20-25% Weaker WiFi (will be updated after I receive Wifi patch)
Build quality is really good but phone had some minor problems with dust protection as you can see on image
Weak battery for hardcore users
Length of phone which is 14cm, this is subjective most of my friends liked it since it's really thin and not too wide.
Video review
If you understand Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian there is video review for you Still if you don't understand it please check footage of some games how system works and overall build quality.

This thread will be updated as more info, reviews, unboxings and questions come in.
I've been looking forward to this device. My only problem with it is I haven't seen any decent keyboard docks that aren't just flimsy foldable cases for any of the X98 line.
Its on sale on Tinydeal too.

I will have to buy it from here since aliexpress does not ship to my country.
Heard that they will release a dual boot android/10 down there road.
Any truth to this? if so i will hold tight for that.

People seem to think that the dual boot is just a software flash/upgrade away. And that you wouldn't have to actually buy a different model.
This would make me pull the trigger on it.
What do you guys think?

According to the official Teclast website this is a Windows only tablet. I could not find any mention of dual-boot. Also, at the link I posted earlier it seems to be in Stock, not just pre-order.
cant wait for it to deliver!
hey all i just bought this tablet. I really don't care if it has dual boot on it or not. I have been testing out an emulator called DROID4X and it is absolutely amazing. Its extremely fast once you get it downloaded of course (slow download). I ran a bunch of benchmarks and scored higher than any other system. so the emulator works really good. very stable, and all the games Ive played on it so far work perfectly.
I scored 83,000 on ice storm unlimited.
114,000 on antutu.
8.926 seconds on 10,000,000 pi.
of course I'm running this all on an oc 4790k build but even if the z8500 can do 30% of that ill be fine. If they get dual boot working on it even better. Until then the emulator works perfect. i would score higher but my system isn't optimized to run android. I actually ran android off of boot able USB and it was horribly slow. i might snag another ssd to install it because i don't want to fragment my windows ssd. that's one concern i have about the dual boot. can anyone chime in on how well the system will separate the files for dual boot? what if you need to reinstall windows or reset android?
That's amazing. have you tried PS2 emulators (or gamecube)?
Greetings my friends! Any way to clone dump the eMMC to an external backup drive, USB Flash Drive (Pen drive) or microSD Card?
