[APP] Notification Restart - Reload Your Notification Bar [CM7 - themechooser]

Notification Restart can be used to restart the notification bar(status bar). This can be useful while applying themes in CM7 and the status bar is not updated with the theme. Using this app will reduce the time taken for restart after applying theme. The application can also be used if some thing goes wrong in the notification bar.

Works a treat. Great little app.
I'm not sure of the procedure but would it be worth submitting this to cyanogenmod and getting it built in to theme chooser so when you exit the theme chooser app it auto reloads the notification bar when you exit.

So did you port this? It looks a lot like a renamed copy of whitehawkxs previous kc1 release. Im going to decompile and have a look. I sure hope this isn't like your cwm posts.

Having issues here. Seems like there is no keyboard installed for me.
And the themes are not working, it doesn't change even after applying.
EDIT: Found the fix for the themes. Just create a "theme" folder under data/system using root explorer. As for the keyboard issue, I just installed a keyboard app from my sdcard and use that.

i forgort that the reason it does not create that is the updater script i had to remove it kept saying writing to ~/data and it would fail

Add a keyboard to the new version whenever you update and take one of the launchers out. Other than that, I love it.
Torch FCs constantly, if you use the toggle for it, it breaks lockscreen due to constant FC and flashlight lockscreen.

Wifi and battery is fine for me.

everything seems to work fine... just a few things that are buggy
camera works but front face cam picture is upside down and don't fill the entire screen
sometimes when I try to use setting of some apps i can't see the words because it clashes with the dark background
other than that this is a solid rom Good Job :good:

Turn on hotspot shield vpn and let it connect and secure your connection. once you see the key in the top left corner you are good.
Then you turn on the native hotspot on the phone, configure your SSID and password if you like. the native hotspot should now be detected by other devices, simply connect and you should be good to go without using your hotspot data or receiving the blocked site page from T-Mobile, just as long as the vpn is still connected.

Get Xposed Framework Installer, install it, then get G2 Xposed from the Play Store (it's an Xposed module), and the mods in that work just fine on the TMo variant. It includes mods for nav bar + recents, black status bar, and removing the sliders. Check it out.

we should think about torrenting ROMs this size.... i just downloaded a 1.04 gb file in less than 10 mins while the DL for this rom is at 80% in 58 mins.... just would need some seeds

I flashed the rom and after the LG logo goes away I just get a black screen with the LED flashing different colors just siting there. I guess I will flash again and see what happens. md5 was good though.

Same issue here... Flashed fine, led light works on boot like normal, but no boot animation and it just sat black never booted. Restored stock backup

hold power and volume down, when you see the LG logo release the buttons then hit them again

No WiFi calling since it is based on the international G2. Maybe I can add it in there later on.
Clear browser cache if you having trouble downloading. It is fully uploaded.

Would side loading not work? If not then a version that it would work in would be great. Thank you for supporting a T-Mobile version

For some weird reason I am connected to the tower but no data at all. Just shows bars. Forcing me to use wifi when I try and log into my google account to get it setup
Edit: Figured out the fix. You need to long press the "Data" button in notification area, Access point names, Click on T-Mobile GPRS, replace the APN link with "fast-t-mobile.com"

Lock screen very bright where Nav Bar is hidden until unlock. Don't know if there is a way to fix this, but its there.
I noticed a big performance increase with this stock lock screen when turning screen on while locked. Hardly any delay compared to the lock screen LG installed originally. Might be minor but wow it makes a big difference for me for I like to see whats playing while switching tracks on google play music. Really makes the experience much better for me personally.
