You would be better off using the latest tamcore opensenation nightly because extreme sensation power is a kang of the 17/06/2012 CM nightly - meaning, nothing apart from the build.prop and launcher has changed, its not even built from source (Trust me, I have comparison software). Also its based off an old nightly which had a few bugs which have since been resolved

Thank you very much for your kindness...

Stable cm9 nightlies rom

Does anyone know when the final update for cm9 nightlies will be out?I've been told a month or 2.
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA
When it's ready. The nightlys are perfectly stable now anyway
Are you running the Rom?If you are how long have you been using it?

They're good, I'm using one ans have been for about a week but I don't change my signature because it looks awesome.
I find that pure ics roms have worse battery life and find arhd and leedroid much better battery life.

You've broken the first rule of cyanogenmod; Don't ask for an eta! Its ready when it's ready. Also, there isn't ANY phone yet that is close to getting a "stable" cm9 release yet.
I've been running AOKP (based on pyramid's device tree), and it's pretty stable. No show stoppers for me.

Cm9 nightlies

I haven't ran a cm9 nightlies over a month. Is the Rom getting any faster?and what is the best kernel type and version for batt life and for performance.when I ran it last it was slow.I hope its getting faster.

I've been running it for awhile now, I think it really quick and quite stable, I'm using bricked with it

I think you can flash tamcore's kernel with it. I flashed it on OpenSensation. You can flash badass_battery_life.zip or badass_performance.zip from tamcore's site with the kernel. http://files.tamcore.eu/android/?dir=tamcore-kernel

Did tamacore kernel work pretty good on opensensation.are tamacore kernels better for batt life or performance?
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G with Beats Audio using xda app-developers app
i flashed tamcores kernel on my htc sensation with original cm 9 rc1 today. currently i can't tell anything about the battery life but i can say thats possible to undervolt with system tuner and this should increase the battery life.
Hey what version are you using and on tamacore kernels how can you tell the differences between the sense and nonsense kernels.Do you have a web link that I could checkout their kernels on. Thanks...

Has anyone ran a matrix, endeavor, vivid, herc or a tuna kernels.

If anyone has ran any of these listed kernels could you tell me which ones are more better for battery life and which ones for performance.Im just wondering if these different kernels are any good.I would appreciate any information on any of these kernels if you have any experience with any of them. Thanks in advance...

I meant atrix not matrix. Is it true that tamacore and Sebastian kernels are better for battery life than bricked kernels?are only faux kernels built for performance, speed, etc?
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G with Beats Audio using xda app-developers app
Running kernels made for different devices can usually result in two ways: 1. your phone won't boot / 2. it will, but with a lot of errors.
Maybe a kernel for a HTC device close to the sensation will work eventually, but chances are next to 0.
Since Bricked and Faux has better core management and Sebastian's kernel is almost stock - then it is false. Faux's & Bricked kernel can be configured either to save battery or to perform fast.
I personally have only gotten great speed out of faux kernels.and great batt life out of bricked kernels.I have seen that tamacore kernels also provide good batt life as well.I was just wondering if anyone has ever ran any of the different kernels that I have listed and what kind of rests that they experienced with them.

So basically the only kernels that I should run on my sensation is faux, bricked,Sebastian and tamacore kernels?how about vivid kernels?any information on this topic would be greatly appreciated it.

What does sweep2 wake mean on bricked kernels?and cmdline means what as well.are any if these Sebastian aftermarket kernels any good or should I just not even mess with Sebastian kernels? Thanks!!!

The Vivid is HTC's codename for a different phone, IT IS NOT A KERNEL! Its like htc named our phone the "pyramid" so flashing a kernel for the vivid is not a good idea.
The kernel devs that are active on sensation are, Show-p1984 with Bricked kernel, faux with faux kernels, sebastian with his kernel and tamcore who does CM/AOSP kernels only so dont flash tamcore kernel unless you are running an AOSP/CM based ROM.

Sweep2wake means that your screen will turn on and off by sliding your finger across the capacative touch buttons at the bottom of the phone.
Unless you are a dev, you really dont need to know what the kernel cmdline is or does.
Thank you very much for clearing up my kernel qwestions.

viper is probably the best. it has a lot of tweaks you wont find elsewhere.
honestly, its impossible to get a sense rom to work as fast or stable as something AOSP based
try ordroid, its not feature complete but its stable as hell and was much faster than vipers 1.0.1 (at least for me)
Ordroid 9.0.0? What kernel version did you run with it.

I agree!
Use the latest kernel by faux123 as well! It's frickin' smooth and snappy.
Will recommend S-o-M 1.4, very customizeable and fast n stable. otherwise IC or Viper

upload/download speeds are radio dependent. has nothing to do with which rom youre using
Then why do I have great downloading speeds on aosp roms but on sense roms they suck.and I never have changed my.radios.
