hey guys! this is a thread on what you guys think regarding omega/omega aokp rom and whether or not you guys think it will happen. for those of you that dont know, omega is a crazy custom touchwiz rom packed with amazing features! and of course omega aokp is an aosp rom. it would be really cool if somebody could port this to the verizon galaxy s3 and i was wondering what you guys think about this rom and if you guys know anyone who could possiply make a port of these two roms? thank for your time and dont forget to post you opinions!

So is this a request thread? This rom isn't announced and the developers haven't yet expressed interest in the gs3, right? I'm just trying to get a handle on what this thread is all about.
In the meantime I speculate that this rom may or may not be released at sometime in the future.
-Hai guise I haz problems on the pre-alpha release and I don't know why.

I visit Everyday to this forum in search of one of the best Roms..
Also I cant Find any update about any Rom launched these Days..
I invite more rom developers to build some of the great Roms..
I respect The Work And Efforts of the present custom ROM developers..
I m nt speaking against them.
I just want them to work together and build a ROM...
I want a really fast Rom...
Once again i want to mention that, I m pretty impressed by your work.
Its just that my expectations are really high...
And Developers are appreciated to post the Link of their ROMS....

An its so Speedy..
And There Is Not So great Hardware Difference..
Developers You can Do this...
And make us feel more privileged..

if u think i9000's dev is speedy just go get urself a i9000 and save ur self the troubble of creating new threads !!

Instead of wanting, maybe you could do some learning and do some development yourself.
I was just curious why their are so little roms for this version of the One X compared to the international version. I like the Roms that we have, but its kinda of frustrating when their is a lack of parody in our threads compared to the the international version.

We have no kernel source yet. To have what we have, including AOKP and CM9 is amazing.
What kind of ROM are you looking for? If you tell us I'm sure that we have something to fit your needs.

Listen guys, take no offense to what I am saying, so before someone wants to say "why dont you make a rom" As I stated Im just curious. Some the roms that I've seen are Charmeleon Rom, maXimus V2.1, PARANOIDANDROID etc. This is the Q&A thread so the topic is just. I'm appreciative of the developers and roms out their. I just wanted to know why their wasn't a lot of variety.

I tried my hand at porting ParanoidAndroid a few days back but their repo wouldn't download for me. I've moved on to just porting pure AOSP.

u should post this in the general section..
by the way.. back to the topic, dhiru is working on a 3.0 kernel with adipat..
so cm porting will be stop untill then.. cm10 4.1.2 alpha 4 is the last piece for now..
after they finished to kernel development.. they will continue on porting.. hopefully..

As great as it looks I don't think there are many people or devs left in the vzw S3 community wiling to port or even build new roms for our device. They are few and far between now, I know scrolser moved on as well as beanstown106. We may be out of luck for this one

both of them may be different and i think none of them stolen. two different developers and different mods. rom base must be the same cause both of them ported note 4 rom. also i don't understand why you care with this? just install one of them or don't install.

Don't get confused haha. Some rom do look extremely similar but trust me. It is not steal
g00h's ROM has all the bugs of Darklord ROM before.

Maybe they have the same source? I don't think that one of them stole the others rom.
almost every Note 3 lollipop rom uses the same source did they steal it from each other? Guess not.
Show some respect to the devs @gooh has been developing roms for a long time on here. As for the other rom it seems to be a port of VN. Just about all roms are developed from the same bases. As for the N4 5.0 roms they are all pretty much built on the same base. Just because they seem the same dont mean one is stolen. They are both TW N4 5.0 roms. I feel this topic is disrespectful to the devs. It has no place on the forums and should be removed. As for the OP of this topic....you seem to have a motive by writting this. Dont know what it is but its ignorant. Take it up elsewhere.
