Hi, I am running the Jelly Belly 0.1.4 rom with hypothalamus kernel (was also doing the same with bedalus kernel) and everytime i try to edit a picture, the gallery FC. I am wondering if this is i known bug? I checked the forums for anything about it, didn't see anything. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?

Yesterday i installed the CM10 for my phone and just now i noticed that i dont have the camera app.
Can anyone share it ?
sry for my bad English.
Should be in your rom(CM10) included, in system\app you´re gonna find usually every systemapp including Camera.
There is no camera "app" the camera app and gallery app are merged into one file the gallery app if you have the gallery app then you should have camera if not here you go, copy it to system/app then fix the permission to -rw-r--r--

Bruce2728's version here
If you haven't got this version already, make sure you download this: "cm-10-20120831-bruce2728-pyramid.zip", this: "cm-10-20120831-bruce2728-pyramid-buildpropfix.zip" and this: "gapps-jb-20120830-bruce2728-signed.zip" and flash them in that order.
If you are coming from another version of CM10 then I would recommend a factory reset wipe before going ahead, just to be sure.
If you are coming from an older version of Bruce's CM10, then no need to wipe anything, but I would advise fixing permissions. I always do and I never have any of the issues that other users seem to report.
Hope that helps.

Yup, Bruce's is a beta, but I have pretty much no problems with it at all.

Thanks,,,is it already tested on 4.1.2 and working?
It runs fine on the 11/04/2012 CM10 and Paranoid Android 2.5.3.
Gallery Will Not Open
I flashed the files . The camera works fine, but the gallery doesn't open. When I hit the gallery icon it says "Unfortunately Gallery has stopped." I've tried reinstalling and several other avenues and end up with the same results. Is anyone else having this issue? I am running Scott's CM10 Rom.
Working fine on liquid smooth.
This doesn't affect the gallery man. Your gallery doesn't work because you flashed the 4.2 gallery. Idk why it doesn't work.it should. Didn't you back up your old gallery?in system/app

Try to clear data+cache for Gallery in Settings -> Apps -> ALL -> Gallery.
It's possible that Gallery is using old data from previous version.

My understanding since cm10/jb camera and gallery is in one apk file, maybe if you have Rootexplorer go to System/Apps/GalleryGoogle.apk then Fix Permission select Read and Write save then reboot your phone see if that works.

If it's working correctly, you'll see a blue dot. You aim the reticle so the blue dot is in the middle. It will do a countdown then take the fist shot. After that, when you move the phone up, down, left, or right, you'll see other possible blue dots. Same procedure. You can do a 360 view or just a partial. Click the shot button to finish.
It will take 30 seconds or so to compile. You'll see a message in the notification bar.
Pretty cool that it works this well on this old phone.
Picture will be in the gallery.
I have a separate, working zip if the packaged photosphere doesn't work. I can post a link.
Good luck

Hi recently got my hand on the latest apollo sources (well atlest they got updated translations) from cyanogenMod github and compiled it fixing the genre and playlist problem as well as the 4x2 widget.
now big thing
if you want to install as system app take system_apollo.apk(yes they are all apk files) and push it to /system/app folder and rename as Apollo.apk now give permission rw-,r--,r--
and reboot. done.
if you want an easier way just take signed_Apollo.apk and install it as a normal apk file.
this should work in android 4.0.4, 4.1.2 ,4.2.1
Android 4.2.x[Tested]
Android 4.0.x[Untested]
Android 4.1.x[Untested]
should work on all LDPI phones with the correct android versions
All files are in attachment.
Remember to take the correct file
For Developers who want to include this in their roms :
Sources just replace Apollo source code with this changes for layout made to dimens.xml and adapter genre and playlist change.
And please don't for get to give me credit for this miniscule work .

Hi guys.
Ive modified the secgallery.apk for ZSLM5, LSZ, LT4 and LT5 to enable air view.
These files includes the xml file that enables air view.
There are 2 files for each version.
One for preload/symlink/system/app
One for system/app
Tested on deodex rom.
odex rom - may give 'android is upgrading 1 of 1' message
Flash the file in cwm.
To find out which zip file you should use.
1. Open root explorer and navigate to preload/symlink/system/app
2. if there is a secgallery2_galaxy.apk in there with a size of around 12mb then your rom uses preload.
3. If there is no secgallery2_galaxy.apk in preload/symlink/system/app then your rom uses system/app!!
Many users are saying theres a gallery in both system/app and preload/symlink/system/app. This does not matter.
Just read instructions above!!!!!
Thanks Robbie Hood for help.

This might be a really stupid question, but how do we know if it worked? My app info reads 1.1.40001
Problem might be because I have also installed the moto x camera too...I have multiple "gallery" apps.
Sorry for the stupid question, I promise I was/am capable to copy the file to system/app and fix permissions if that counts for anything D:
