is there a pdf editor?
I actually only need a batch rotating function as it seems no viewer can rotate it.
(I don't mean landscape portrait rotation, i mean rotate the content of the pdf itself)

I was actually going to suggest online PDF editing. I've found ones that will strip the security off and do other things too. Pretty handy, although they typically have a size limit.

Just wondered what people use to read scanned text PDFs. I find myLibrary doesnt show images to high enough resolution. In fact it downsamples them. Polaris is really choppy with large images and again doesnt show smooth text. adobe reader is the best for iage quality and readability but has no library facility and is very slow resizing. I have a lot of scanned documents to read. Anyone suggest better software?

repligo,it's fast and will keep the quality
ditto to above.
also, you might want to consider just using jpeg's when you scan instead of pdf... the gallery is really smooth and responsive.
Hi All,
I'm studying an online course and have been trying to find the easiest way to make notes on my xoom (which can then be shared to other systems).
I really like skitch, has just the right elements of note taking, highlighting, making quick presentation type slides, and storage (evernote). However I'm using dolphin browser plugin to screen capture a webpage (low quality capture) then import into skitch, scribble notes then saving to evernote. I could save the webpages to pdf with I think higher quality results but skitch doesn't support pdf - so if there's another program that supports drawing on pdf that could be a solution.
I wondered if there was a background app (appreciate it may impact performance) where I could hit a button to capture the screen or area of the screen (regardless of which browser or app I'm using at the time) scribble a note on it and save the picture? Preferably to a notebook app but just to gallery would be fine. I think this is how the HTC Flyer works (with the addition of digitiser for pen input). Anyone know of any app like this? OR have suggestions of how they work with / make notes on webpages?
This has become longer than I was expecting and as I wrote I realised it may be quite a specific set of requirements but all suggestions are welcome (already considering switching to a flyer).
Thank you
I have tried most available PDF readers in play store, but none is capable of making the pdf to fit to screen in portrait mode. PDF file in portrait mode loses space in top and bottom of the screen in portrait mode and makes less readable, when having small fonts in the doc. also stretching the page everytime for bulky books with 400+ pages makes life tougher. is there any free app that supports this functionality? or is there any work around for this?
for info, the pdfs that i read mostly has images as well in it for illustration.
thanks
Hi,
Im currently using Mantano Reader as my main PDF viewer. However, Id like a viewer capable of automatically adjusting zoom of a page - I dont like reading small letters with huge white areas around and also dont like having manually zoom. Is there something capable of automatically zooming in page please?
Thanks!
When I import a landscape format powerpoint file (converted into a landscape PDF) they seem to always import into SNote in portrait format. That means when I look at the imported PDF in SNote in landscape I get the wasted space at the side of the now portrait format presentation. Anyone discovered a way to import into landscape? The presentation looks fine when the GNote is held in portrait but when I display this using my Allshare Cast dongle it only uses about half of the available data projector area. If I could get it imported as landscape I would be able to use all the data projector area.
