i did this same thing today. use "icon changer" on google play store
or you can download the zip file from this site and put it on your SD and flash it and it will change your blue mms icon. Just the icon will be modded that's it

I would like to replace Handcent sms's icon with the stock Htc messages application icon. Will someone theme that icon for me so I can flash it to replace it? I currently am using an application that just masks the image for the home screen. I want to completely change it. Can someone help?

Are you taking about the battery and signal notifications?

ADW themes only change the home and app drawer icons. You would have to install a matching theme in CWM to change the notification bar. I have a honeycomb theme installed on mine for the system and then I downloaded the ADW Honeycomb theme from the market to match.
You have to flash a theme.

Hello everyone,
I am running MIUI 2.9.29 on my Desire S and I have just switched theme on a new (official) one. The problem is that all icons are changed except for the Play Store one. Or, to say it better, the custom icon for Play Store is there, because in the application menu of the settings the icon for Play Store is the customized one, and even when the app is starting on the upper left corner appears the customized icon, suddenly replaced by the standard one.
I want that customized icon on my desktop. How I manage to do that?
Thank you.
Ok, I think I've figured it out.
All I have done was opening with 7zip firstly the .mtz package, and then the "icons" file without extract them. Then I have extracted only the com.android.vending.png and renominated it as com.android.vending.AssetBrowserActivity.png.
Then I have re-copied the file into "icons" and re-applied the theme. It worked!!!
Now I have a Play Store icon themed again!!!
I hope it might help somebody.
Hi all. I recently downloaded a icon pack, installed it. But i didnt like the colour. I copied the icon pack's .apk file into my pc, opened it with winrar. There was a folder containing 2k icons. It was possible for me to change the hue using adobe photoshop. But that will take hell lot of time.
So wondering if anyone knows the solution to this. Modifying the icon simultaneously.

I've been using DCiconZ for quite a while, and I recently learned that the template was publicly available, and started the king apps that hasn't been done yet. Just now, I downloaded Union, because I liked the idea of the theme being universal. However, as they aren't actually part of the icon pack, simply PNGs that I manually set to be the icons defaults, Unicon doesn't recognize them, and uses the default theme for them. Anyone know how I can modify the icon pack to include my updates?
