Does anyone know a certain fix for the camera problems on most ICS and JB ROM's? Idk if it is an easy fix or if that is why none of the ROM's I have been have have it solved.

Problems such as when you record a video, it stutters and when you play it over it lags big time.
That is a common issue for ICS and JB.. it still does not have a fix.
Entropy is pushing some final tweaks to make CM9 official.. maybe the official CM9 will have that issue fixed.

He must be in the wrong section since we don't have nightlies. The camera hasn't been fixed yet but I remember superkid saying it had high priority and with the kernel source and the tremendous pace at which they're working, I'm sure it won't be long.

I must agree with Dan-fish, none of the JB roms have the front facing camera working, but superkid seems to be on track to make it work at least on Andromadus. We'll see if that can be ported to CM10 as well.

What is the actual reason it doesn't work? I would have thought with the release of the official ICS and kernel source it would have helped this mission a lot? What is missing?

Andromadus build 131 by flinny which is a JB rom definitely has a front camera that works, my wife uses it as a daily and has had no issues

I would recommend PACman v18 it's a bug free rom with all the features from the AOKP rom, Cyanogenmod 10 and Paranoid Android. Front Camera works as far as I know used it a few times without any problem.
On the EaglesBlood website it says that there CM9 build is discontinued but does anyone know if its stable or not? it doesn't say on there download page. Also i know this has been asked many times but what do you guys think is the most stable ICS rom for the G2x in your opinion and why? I've tried EaglesBlood AOSP 4.0.4 and its not too bad and i wanna know if the CM9 build is stable

Until LG officially releases ICS for the G2X, not a single ICS Rom currently out there is "Stable" by how you're using it. There are some GREAT ICS Roms out there for the G2X, but they all share the same problems (No HW Accel for video, Video Recording being bleh, etc.)

i ended up finding it(i was searching on xda x.x googled it eventually) and the rom seems pretty good other then the fact that its really zoomed out unless thats just how jelly bean is

I've tried 4 different ICS roms. None are "stable". Some are slow and laggy and others freeze and reboot. GPS doesn't lock quickly either.
Flashed back to stock 2.3.4 rom and everything works as intended.

i ran paranoid android rom the settings & fonts r way 2 small
so now i'm running 9.9.9 jb p999 smooth as hell just got a terrible battery drain problem which i hope he'll fix

You can change the writing size on paranoid android just change UI from tablet to phone

has anyone encountered Jitter and delay (Robotix slow-mo) issues and Loud High frequencies with third-party VoIP application (Viber, Hangout,Skype) on GALAXY R?
this all happened when I Flashed Carbon Rom [Build: CARBON-JB-UNOFFICIAL-20130517-095217-i9103] all is working perfectly, however this particular issue may ruin the whole experience. I believe is it some error with the voice decoder. does anyone have a suggestion to rectify this issue? maybe a terminal code line?
it's a shame to have such great ROM ruined with this problem

I'm still waiting for the release of JB for my GT-P6211.
Am a bit hesitant to install JB for GT-P6210.
Is is really worth the risk to install JB, is it really a significant improvement compared to ICS ??

Well, at least you have a hope for upgrade. My t869 will not get one( thank you tmob). None the CM roms are fully functional - so far.
I guess there is no problem. I did upgrade my Gt-p6201 with the gt-p6200 rom and no major issue so far.

in my opinion jb is much better, u can fell this smooth, on ics i had problem with flash player, videos was trimmed, jb ofc solved this problem. For sure worth to flash android 4.1.2
Only problem is flash is no longer developed or supported by Adobe.
Can't even download it on my phone anymore.
