[MOD] Flip to MutE AND NON INCREASING RING TONE [XXKPS]

HEY GUYZ HERE IS MY FIRST MOD FOR I9001 I HOPE YOU ALL LIKE IT
Flip to Mute :
When you are receving a call, you could simply MUTE the call Ringtone by flipping the phone with the screen facing the table surface
NON INCREASING RINGTONE :
Get rid of the increasing ring when someone calls you. Most samsung phones had a "feature" where when you receive a call, the ringtone will gradually fade in to the volume that you have set. This mod will get rid of that annoying fade in and allow your ringtone to play at the volume YOU set it to!
INSTRUCTIONS :
-YOUR PHONE MUST BE ROOTED AND DEODEXED
-TESTED ON XXKPS HAVN'T TRIED ON OTHER VERSIONS LIKE
- TO INSTALL JUST DOWNLOAD THE FILE AND PUT IT IN THE SD
- THEN USE ROOT EXPLORER AND REPLACE THE PHONE.APK IN SYSTEM/APP

What did you do to get rid of the ascending ring tone?
I deodexed my rom but don't know which file I have to edit.

for disabling the increasing ringtone
hmm first extract the phone.apk using apk manager and then open the Ringer$1.smali present in Phone.apk\smali\com\android\phone with notepad++ and delete this line

Oh, so can you help me with editing the file is also responsible for Flip to Mute at oryginal Phone.apk file? I tried to find something in the sources, which you point out, but unfortunately I was overwhelmed.

Hey guys, I have Ported swipe to remove notifications for the I9001,
It's similar to the ICS one, thanks to hansip87 for his Porting guide
I have created a CWM package, just flash it via FeaMod Recovery, (stock recovery might work, haven't tried it)
the phone will take quite some time to bootup after installation, don't worry
Remember you require XXKQB deodexed firmware, So deodex before trying this mod.

EDIT: tweaked the animation's slightly in (2), will be easier to swipe with the thumb now.you'll notice that swiping left will be easier, than swiping right, cause our thumb doesn't move in a linear motion while swiping right (if you are right handed) this can be tweaked.
Please let me know which one works the best or if they need to be tweaked more.

EDIT:Set the packages to half swipe, this means you have to swipe from one edge to the center or slightly ahead.

It changes the theme because for this mod the systemUI.apk will be replaced. And there the moonrom theme isn't included. You could copy the moonrom .png files (from systemUI.apk) to the systemUI.apk of this mod..

Don't know if there are other things to change in the framework.jar for the theme.
I think you can simply unzip the systemUI.apk (if it doesn't work, rename it to systemUI.zip) and copy the files from /res/drawable-hdpi to the modded unzipped systemUI.
After that repack it (with compression setting -> store, in german it is named "speichern", don't know the exact name in english, but should be store), rename in systemUI.apk and try it.

There are a lot of different smali-files in the framework.jar if I compare it with the stock one. But as far as its working

got it installed on the moon rom, works fine. unfortunately, though, it kills off the other button settings in the status menu (i.e. there's also data connectivity, gps and so on, that you get to by swiping the buttons to the left)
so, ironically, your great work stops swiping

You had made the deodex package so you know better,
what rom's framework.jar is it actually ?
As long as it work's how it's supposed to, there's no problem

As old people know, Samsung contacts can only join 5 contacts from social app into one
here it is hacked and opened to unlimited
I made it on deodexed LRG ROM 4.0.4
Just make sure that u r rooted and flash via CWM
It should work on ODEX ROMs just need to manually delete Contacts.ODEX and ContactsProviders.ODEX

Would it be able to handle different dpi? I am using 240. Just want to make sure it doesn't screw up the dialer because of the dpi.

This is VERSION 1.52 for DEODEXED ROMS

Dont worry if you dont see the pause button when recording, I was told note 2 took out the soft button, So to pause Press Vol down, Resume Vol UP.
Good thing about this is it uses hard keys for different things Eg; the volume up key also acts like the optional camera clicker. Like a real camera There are more visit the original thread for more details

whats the difference from his to yours? does HyperX version does not work on I9305 and yours does?

You need to be deodexed, just go the the thread and download the deodexed xxali5 rom and it has all tha apks in system/app & framework

Thanks, but i really like my stock rom as it has great battery life and supports Telstra HD voice, which is awesome. I just need the stock camera.apk back (i dont really want to do a restore as i have too much progress on one of my games) lol.

No imeant to download it so you can extract the camera apk from it and use it. Its also good to have that bckup incase you have another problem like this, all the stock apks are in that

If you are on a stock odexed rom then you will need to delete the .odex file for what is being replaced in both system/app and framework.
So looking in the zip you will need to delete samsungcamera.odex from system/app and seccamera.odex from system/framework.
If you don't want to remove those two files then you will need the samsungcamera.apk and seccamera.jar from a stock odexed rom not a deodexed rom because that is not going to make any difference because when the rom is deodexed it combines the .apk or .jar together with the .odex where as an odexed system has the .odex and .apk or .jar seperate.

Just to check, is there no way to install this hacked camera on an odexed rom? I tried what i thought i needed to do to install it on odexed rom, delete the apk and odex files and put on the new apk but when i rebooted my phone it was stuck at the samsung screen. Had to put all the old files back from recovery with adb.
Any help apprechiated

This application replaces the application messages from samsung and install the AOSP, CM or Stock Google messaging app

Mmmm.... If you have downloaded a whole rom can look into the zip file and search for SecMms.apk in system/priv-app folder, extract and use root explorer to replace the current app??

I tried but requires hard work... contacs are working fine but the stock samsung dialer crash and am working on it. ..

random fc's
AOSP dialer sometime crashes but maybe work...

I tried this out and after flashing the zip I do not have a messaging app at all.

From what I can see your rom is based in jelly bean and this mod only works in kitkat (android 4.4)
