Hulu Working with stock browser!

This is not my work, all thanks goes to: bigrushdog for getting this working.
I have been searching the forums for a way to get Hulu to work when i found an interesting post by bigrushdog in the Motorola Xoom forums, He has found a way to modd Adobe Flash 10.3 to work with the Hulu website! I can Confirm that it does work on the Inspire 4G and i dont see anny reason why it wont work on the DHD or other devices so give it a try and tell me how it goes.

Directions to install and get it working:
1: Uninstall old flash versions.
2: download modded flash.
3: Sideload apk, I used android central's "Sideload Wonder Machine" just cause its newb friendly. website for SWM download: http://forum.androidcentral.com/android-sideload-wonder-machine/76171-android-central-sideload-wonder-machine-v-1-2-a.html
4: set up the stock android browzer to "desktop mode"
5: ignore any messages from hulu website saying it wont work (it should work anyways.)
6: enjoy

Hmm can't get picture, just sound. I'm using ultimate Droid rom. WiFi, tried all the user agents to no avail. Might just be me? Good lookin out sir, thanks.

This is old. Problem is flash apk is modded so Netflix may not work.
Also for users me like Flash 10.3 does not work,. Only a sepecific version of flash 10.2 works. .
But this is great for others.

Imm using the Kingdom rom 1.0. Its a gingerbread sence 3.0 based Rom. Imm thinking problem is rom specific. Ill try a froyo rom tomorrow.

type about:debug in address bar. And then you will find UA String.

Doesn't work with CM7.0.3

It works great with kingdom rom and rcmix on crappy gsm towers at 480p without any lag. Theres gotta b other roms out there that can handle hulu as well.

No, I don't want netflix to stop working.

I tried watching Family Guy, I get the Fox - So Bold intro then it crashes. I'm running LeeDrOiD v3.1.2. I'll try it again after I update to the latest version of the ROM.

it FC's sometimes on kingdom rom.
i usually get around it by overclocking or clearing the cache settings.
overclock works best

Sense 4.0 keeps crashing, and I can't do anything

Hi,
I have just installed the ViperS rom v1.1.0.. well when I say just, I mean about 2 hours ago.
Its still busy booting... at the screen where it says HTC Sense and then animates to HTC Sensation with the snake that moves out, and also has the beatsaudio logo.
is it supposed to take this long?
I used most of the default settings when installing, apart from removing a few apps, ie twiiter, flckr, etc.
Also changed the GPS fix to South Africa, as that is where I'm from.

hmm ok, so eventually got the rom working...
however sense 4.0 keeps crashing... so I cant do anything.
Any suggestions?

I was using viper and my device kept freezing. I kept having to pull battery to get it to un freeze. The older version never done that. Perhaps it's the Rom It's self? Many people use viper without issue, but for me it continued to freeze. I did fresh install, wiped, on newest firmware, just can't figure out what's causing it? Last version ran wonderfully! This version had to pull battery around 5 times a day to un freeze .....

I am going to flash the older version now v1.0.1, to see if my problems are sorted.
Do you know if I need to change my kernel or anything for mine to work?

is it just me or is the aroma installer buggy?

No it should work fine with default kernel. It's bricked. Never had a problem with older version. Ran like a dream! Just new updated version brings issues...

hmmm flashed older version now and still does the same... sense 4.0 perma crash

the sens4 crash might be a firmware issue. Or it may happen if you did not do a full wipe.

Strange because older version was solid .but the new version I can't use. Too many issues with freezing. Have you tried the new ROM lightning? It's also sense4 and seems fast and smooth and has tweaks and aroma installer.? I'm trying it out now. Seems good and solid.

i ever used viper rom older version
but when i tried to connect to my office's wifi, when the wifi ask identity and password, the place for input the identity and password is keep disappear.
i don't know where is the problem, and i never post it in the developer section, because my post is not enough yet hehehe

After flashing 1.2.1 (and .0) as well, I can record 1080p videos only in default app.
Dailyroads and blackbox (recording video in case of car accident) are not working - recording just crashes. Performed full wipe. Anybody has similar problem?

Official ics Bluetooth not working

I've got ics on soff desire s and can't use Bluetooth it searches but doesn't find anything and knowone can see me. Ive checked installed apps and nothing effects it.
Any suggestions?

Same issue
I am having the same issue. Not able to search for any device or anyone can see me. When I turn on bluetooth it turns on but not finding anything. Taken it to a service center, he suggested to revert the OS to 2.3 and check (not sure how to revert back to 2.3) if that is still not working then he would replace the hardware. Please suggest, is there anything I can do to fix the issue from OS level.
Note: My phone not rooted and installed official RUU update4.0 from HTC dev.

I've fixed my Bluetooth I reflashed the ruu.
I now run custom Rom and it works perfect.
It's just software so try flashing ics again

Which ROM did you install? I tried installing PACman and Viper ROM's but still the same issue. After multiple tries it will detect the bluetooth device but does not connect, now again if you try to search the same old story. Not sure if this is the hardware issue or software issue.

Tired different ROM's (Viper, JellyFirebean v2) some times it works and some time it does not. Seems to be some issue with the hardware will get it checked in Service center...may be later.

[Q] Whatsapp crashes on Viper S 1.5.2

I am not sure about viper but whatsapp I can confirm works perfectly on my rom, pac man.. maybe try to reinstall the rom and see if it works then . Also you can post this on viper development and see if anyone has a fix or knows how to get it working. I wish I could be of more help. Best wishes.

I use Whatsapp all the time with Viper and no problems at all. So it's not the ROMs fault

Hi. I'm using ViperS 1.6.0 and KI am having problems with receiving WhatsApp messages. Sometimes, they only come through whilst the screen is on. Other times, they don't come through or come really late. Any ideas?

Instagram 4.0.0 on Evita

Has anyone gotten the 4.0.0 update yet? I don't think the new version works with our device yet - I downloaded the APK someone else pulled off their device and it force closed when I tried taking video. Maybe the app doesn't work right on Sense 5. Would anyone mind downloading the APK for themselves if they don't already have it and giving it a shot?

I have instagram on my nexus 4, version 3.5.3, and it won't let me update to 4.0 in the play store.
It says it supports some for 4.1+, and are adding new devices, so Evita, mako, etc.

Uninstalled then downloaded it from the market and it was still 3.5.3

Instagram 4.0.1 hit the Play Store around 0400 UTC today ostensibly with official Evita support, but I'm still getting FCs when I go to record with the video camera, even after clearing dalvik/cache. Can anyone else on Sense 5 confirm? Might just be an issue exclusive to this ROM.

RUU'd to 3.18 last night and tested it on a bone-stock ATT ROM. It worked flawlessly there. "Cannot connect to camera" on MagioROM.
