Please help. It is very urgent.
This is my first Android phone. I don't know to use it properly. Somehow dialer application and contacts application have disappeared. It says the program is no longer installed n your phone.what to do now. I don't have a data plan on my phone too.
Are you rooted? If not you can't delete them accidently...... If yes, then you should relock the BT and flash a stock RUU
Try a third party dialer and contacts app from the market, I recommend GoDialer and GoContacts. See if that helps.

If you are unrooted then run the bulletin recovery and restore to factory default again.

My phone app is missing, I'm using sense so the phone is included in the bar but I also had the phone app on my lock screen and noticed it was gone. Opened app draw its not there, but if I go into manage applications its listed. Any ideas how I can get it back?

Mines gone too, but I didn't mess with my lock screen, so I still have it there. So If I do change my Lock screen, it will disappear.
I didn't even mess with the lock screen it just was a blank spot where the phone icon was.

Have you guys tried going into 'Menu>Personalize>Lock screen>Settings' and assign the phone app to the respective shortcut?
The phone app is no longer there.

Did you guys try a factory reset?

Not yet. Was hoping to find a different way first before a factory reset.

happened to me a while back when i first flashed rom on phone. for me, a reboot solved it. maybe i also wiped cache and dalvik.
The same thing has happened to me.
A Google search and a search here has returned no solutions.
I saw on a Google search it may have been the OTA update, not sure.
Disregard my signature, it's old. I am now running a 100% stock HTC Sensation. No mods, no Rom, no root (waiting for the official bootloader unlock).
Anyone found a solution for this. And please don't give me a tier 1 tech support answer, "we need to do a factory reset". I hate factory resets, at least not yet stock. Maybe after I root and put titanium backup back on this badboy.

Why are you still waiting for the "official" unlock? Pretty sure I have seen numerous threads stating that tmob sensation had.been added to HTC unlock if revolutionary concerns you.
Yep, takes 5 minutes to do it via HTC with their unlock code.
I just downloaded the phone apk from which a member created. U can find it on the forum, the link where u can download the apk file and use it on the lockscreen.

Atm I am running latest IC with latest firmware (3.24 unlocked)
So my problem is I can't login on my facebook account on any 3rd party apps (slr notifications, friendcaster, go!facebook chat etc.) I sais "Loading Facebook Authentication, then just freezes and closes.
So far I have tried Re-flashing without any themes etc, but the problem persisted, so themes doesn't have anything to do with it.
Also tried not restoring apps from TB. That didn't help either.
So does anyone have suggestions for something I can try to fix this, or is it a bug in the RUU? (Don't think so though, haven't seen anyone else with this problem)
Only solution I have is to flash an old ROM, and just backup data after logging in, but that's so much stress ^^
Thanks!
Did you use superwipe? Or just flash without wipe?

Ok, So, I have XE Currency 2.06 installed on my phone. Now, Xe, had come up with version 3.01 and then 3.02. I tried them, did not like them and hence went back to 2.06.
The problem I have is that every time I restart my phone I get a notification that an update has been found. Is there anyway to switch off the notification for specific apps?
Thanks
Break the market link with titanium backup

First of all copy / backup that version u do like on TB.

Just turn off all update notifications on Play market. Just go there once in awhile to update the apps u want.

Hello.
I rooted and installed official ICS android on my phone. My phone is originally Rogers, but the ICS version is AT&T. It's official but never release to public or whatever who knows.
So it came with all AT&T bloatware but I was able to disable all except one...
AT&T address book.
Everytime I open my phone contacts this stupid app opens first! It takes like 4 seconds to load then I have to hit OK before I can view my regular android contacts.
I go to apps but DISABLE is grayed out.
What can I do? I am rooted but this is grayed out? Makes no sense?
nobody knows how to do this???
get titanium back up since ur rooted you can go in and delete all the bloat ware

Well,, it depends on what the apps u want to delete. As long as they're not sync each other with your phone system, it's fine to delete them. But if you delete even a wrong single app, u could end up with spamming error messages, or the worst u have to change ur current ROM into a new one because of the damage. I suggest u to really really be careful and do it with some knowledges..
