Since i'm not updating these on a regular basis anymore, I thought i'd give you the files so you can just update the framework yourself.
Just open the newest framework-res.apk with 7zip, drag & drop the res folder from whatever color you want over to 7zip and click yes to copying the files over, close 7zip and you're done.
Just the colored files, not the framework
ALL COLORS.ZIP Zip version
ALL COLORS.RAR <-- All of them in one rar file
Green
Green - Biohazard
Purple
Purple - Decepticon
Blue

First off you need to get the framework-res.apk file from your tablet to your PC. Use root explorer or some kind of file explorer that has root access. The file is located in /system/framework either copy it to your sdcard or send it to your cloud service such as box or google drive. Open it up on your PC with 7zip in another window go to the color you want, you should see a res folder, just drag and click the res folder over to the framework-res.apk you have open with 7zip, then merge when it asks you to. Now put the new framework-res.apk on your sdcard and copy it into the /system/framework folder make sure you have r/w on whichever file explore you are using, it'll ask you to replace the file, do so then reboot the system. If you did it correctly it should be changed.

Okay thank you.

here's a metamorph for a clear setcpu widget...you just need to move setcpu to /system/app however you know how...

extract the folder from the zip and put it in AndroidThemes, then apply.
clearsetcpu.zip is for anyone who downloaded setcpu through the market, its named differently through his post on these forums..
how about a morph for those other icons on ur home screen?
sorry the clearsetcpu doesnt work..
i bought my setcpu from the store so decided to try it
metamorph complains "the theme you selected is invalid because the theme control file could not be read and may be missing"
other themes i have applied fine..
download the clearsetcpu.zip and put the folder inside it in your androidthemes folder. ones setcpu.apk and ones com.mhuang.overclocking...
you have to have setcpu in /system/app too...it wont work if all you've done is downloaded setcpu..
what do you mean there is no folder inside it.. you put the .zip files in the androidthemes directory and metamorph finds theme and applies them..
there is no option to apply 2 files at once .. when i try to apply the .zip file i get the error above.
I also checked there is no setcpu.apk in /system/app
but i also double checked and i did download from market and it does show up in my marked list as installed.
and it does run.
you need to move the .apk from /data/app (or /sd-ext/app) to /system/app and then apply the morph.
The morph zip needs a small fix (remove extra level) to make it directly usable. Attached.

thanks ... so much for the statement about the 2nd hack working for anyone that downloaded through the market.
I use sufbs to remount system as read/write and copied from /data/apps to /system/apps and reistalled from there .. then the morph worked fine..
then removed the other copy in /data and remount fs read only..
also removed the stupid amazon mp3 download while i had system unlocked since it wouldnt let me delete it the normal way.
MyxdaUsername, would you mind placing this and/or any other morph into this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=654858.
Thanks just wanna get all Morphs into one thread
Copy and paste
I am able to pull the com.mhuang.overclocking.apk but when i try to push it i get failed to copy read only file system. what am i doing wrong? the command im using is adb push c:\com.mhaung.overclocking.apk /system/app
are you pushing from your phone or from a pc
Thanks for this. Looks badass.
Yep, I just wanted to say thanks for this also. I didn't like the background at all on this and the clear/naked goes well with my screen on my droid.
Keep up the good work.
Needs the xml for the new MetaMorph version. Hopefully we'll get an update.

Hello xda,
I will show you how to make your settings look a like to the SGS3 one!
You Need To Be Rooted
Step 1:
Download the zip file from the attachments and open the zip file it contains 2 folders open the settings.apk folder and take all the png's out of there paste thse .png's in a folder on your desktop!
Step 2:
Open the settings.apk with 7zip and go to res drawable-mdpi depending on your phone it could be also (HDPI or LDPI or XHDPI)
Step 3:
Scroll down to ic_settings_about.png and open that .png! check the size of your standard .png and look if they are the same size as the modded SGS3 style .png!
Step 4:
If they are not the same you must resize them!
If they are the same size copy all the Modded SGS3 icons inside of res drawable-mdpi depending on your phone it could be also (HDPI or LDPI or XHDPI)
Step 5:
after that go back to the .zip file you have downloaded and go into the framework-res.apk folder take all the .png's out of there and paste them into a folder on your desktop!
Step 6:
open your framework-res.apk and go to res drawable-mdpi depending on your phone it could be also (HDPI or LDPI or XHDPI)
Copy all the .png's inside of that folder and close 7zip.
Step 7: from here you can do 2 things
1: push the new apk's in root explorer
2: put them in your rom and flash it!
Method1:
Put settings.apk and framework-res.apk on your phone and go to root explorer navigate to /sdcard and move settings.apk to system/app Reboot!
After the reboot is done go back to root explorer and navigate to /sdcard and move framework-res.apk to /system/framework Reboot!
Enjoy your new settings!
Method2:
Put the themed settings.apk in your rom under system/app and the themed framework-res.apk under system/framework flash your rom!
Enjoy your new settings!

Change your default lockring to this:

}
We need to modify the framework-res.apk, so we need a file explorer with root access, like Solid Explorer Beta2
PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP BEFORE TRYING THIS!
Step 1 Download the lockring that you like.
There are two options for each style: HDPI or XHDPI.
Download from here:
Ingress style 1: HDPI or XHDPI.
Ingress style 2: HDPI or XHDPI.

Step 2 Copy your framework-res.apk from /system/framework to SD card and from SD card to the computer. If you have your current ROM on the computer as a zip file, copy the framework-res.apk from there, it`s faster.
Step 3 Open the framework-res.apk with 7Zip.
Navigate to res\drawable-hdpi\ or res\drawable-xhdpi\. You should find a file named "ic_lockscreen_handle_normal.png". This is for ICS and JB.
Step 4 Go to the archive that you downloaded and unzip it, open the folder and Drag and Drop the .png file from here to the res\drawable-hdpi\ or res\drawable-xhdpi\. Click yes to confirm.
Step 5 Close the 7Zip archive and copy your modified framework-res.apk to the SD card. Keep the original framework-res.apk for backup.
Step 6 On the phone open Solid Explorer Beta2 and navigate to the modified framework-res.apk, long press it, select Copy. Navigate to /system and Paste it. Long press it again and select Properties. Under Attributes tab select Change. Set permissions to 644 -rw-r--r-- Click OK.
Long press the framework-res.apk again and select Cut. Now navigate to /system/framework and select Paste and overwrite the framework-res.apk from here.
Step 7 Your phone should reboot now, if it doesn't, reboot manually.
You should now have the new lockring installed.
Feel free to alter the design or make you own.
Here are the dimensions in pixels for HDPI: 162x162 and XHPDI: 216x216. The image must be a .png file.

Hey together.
(at first: I do not want use a finished custom rom. I am happy as my Rome is now running)
I Would like to deodex my JB Stock Rom to coustomize my self with Mods and other but for almost everything i used a deodexed Rom. I tried xUltima and the Android Kitchen, v0.223 by dsixda and both doesn't work.
On the Android Kitchen, v0.223 by dsixda i can't find my TWRP Backup and i don't know how i convert it or somthig else.
On xUltima i become instantly an Error. When i delete the odex file which caused the error i become instantly a another error.
Here is a Picture from xUltima:

i have no idee how i fix this.
no one an idea?
Make a imitation ROM:
Create a dump.
Download Rhythm Manager's version of file manager.
Now go to / (self explanatory) and copy system.
It'll take a while, but copy it to sdcard.
Now copy the file onto computer. Find a ROM and copy the META_INF.
Make a empty boot.img.
Put the boot.img, system, and meta_inf into a zip folder. THis would be your ROM.
You can take it from there.

1) Yes. Any ROM is okay. Just get it from an actual ROM.
2) Step 1: unhide extension by going explorer.exe --> organize --> Folder and search options --> view --> uncheck Hide extension ... --> click apply to folders--> Apply. Now simply make a .txt file on desktop and rename the extension as img, and the file name make it boot.
Today i am going to TEACH you how to convert ARMv7 games to ARMv6 without using pc, Its easy and no special ability requires it means even a noob can do this thing. so lets get started.
:thumbup:
What you need to have is........
1) ROOT Explorer(To OPEN APK FILE)
2) LIB Files of Unity Engines
3) Zipsigner (play store)
Download Links:
""""""""""""""""""""""
Download A TO Z LIB Files from hear
http://www1.datafilehost.com/d/20eebbea
Download ZIPSigner from this form PLAYSTORE !! (free)
============================
Instructions:
1) Using rootexplorer extract the APK File
Go to extracted apk folder and head to Assets>Bin>Data> and Open "MAINDATA" file in text viewer.
2) Now Check the Version of Unit
3) Now you have the info about the Unity Engine Version, in our case it is 3.5.5f3 so now you have to extract 3.5.5f3 libs which you have downloaded from above links. (u can see unity engine version on top after opening maindata in textviewer.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
4) Now using Rootexplorer Delete LIB Folder from extracted APK folder(while using rootexplorer u will find apk folder in speedsoftware>extracted) and Place ARMv6 lib folder now head to Assets>Libs and delete ARMv7 folder and place the armeabi-vfp. now we are almost done.
5) Now using rootexplorer zip the
APK folder. (Let suppose xyz.zip)
6) now open Zipsigner press input locate the zip (xyz.zip) folder u have created with amrv6 libs.
7) now go to signed output file
And give address
/sdcard/xyz.apk
(u can use ur ownname.apk name in place of xyz.apk)
8) Now select auto-testkey in KEY.
& SIGN UR APK
It will take few minutes an all done!!
And ur signed apk will place in ur sdcard (not any folder).
Install it and urEnjoy with chainfire 3D!! :thumbup:
NOTE: If you find Unity Engine
Version 4.0 or above it means its dead end and
those games can not be converted
Get ready 4a war!!
Don't forgot to press thanks
Bye!!
I would love to know how to open the rest of those files in there the ones that look like this: 0c23d38d2f2b445afa92ff0cf9388a76 there are usually dozens of them obviously on a PC but anyone know how to open them? this is the closest I found while searching and this thread is all I could find :?
