Hi guys!
My Sensation has a really weird bug. While in a conversation the internal speaker stops working and the microphone stops working too, in simple words: i can't hear the conversation partner and he can't hear me.
Thought it was a firmware problem. Flashed different roms and now got the original one back (RUU_Pyramid_TMOUS_1.29.531.2_Radio_10.42.9007.00P_ 10.11.9007.15_M_release_193714_signed), but the problem still persists. Some say I should try a different radio version, but I'm not sure about it.
And this doesn't seem like a hardware problem...
Anybody had this bug before or maybe has some suggestions?
Thank you!
Nevermind, problem is on skype, not my mic.
After updating skype,my mic doesnt work on skype.
Ok, i recently found out that my mic is not working.
i was trying to talk to a friend using skype, but he said he couldnt hear anything.
this happened after flashing revolver 4.2.1 along with....
harmony-ics-asus.zip
and
Tim_KatAudioXX_Max1.zip
can anyone help me out?
my mic worked before on ARHD.
EDIT : found out that its skypes fault.
Mic works on voice search.
I have used both voice recoder and google voice search with no problem.
Mic seems to be working properly however in Skype it comes out all static.
On Stock everything was fine.
Any advice on a fix?
can you test skype on your phone to see if its just me..
Thanks everyone and happy new year.

So.. I plugged my Headphones that include a Mic that i got with my phone into the audio jack and do another test.. and everything is clear.
This is stupid ..I wonder if anyone has a fix for this.
Think Any of the CM 10.1 Daily's have fixed this issue?
This is the main reason why I dont run CM10. I havent found a fix other then using a headset or bluetooth with skype. Once there is a fix I will sure return to CM10

Hi, I've got some kind of problem with my Mi4c microphone. During calls no one can hear me if I don't use the loudspeaker option, and when I try to record something it's really quiet. I've tried stock ROM, cyanogenmod 12.1 and 13.1. Does anyone know what may be causing it? And what's the fix? Thanks in advance.
same problem
I have same problem to, i've try to change microphone with other, but it still same..
Please help thus isue...
Same problem with me. My partner couldn't hear my voice when we made video call with facebook, hangout, duo etc. But using line working normally
Same problem here. It started after updating CM 13.1 TS to version 20161007.
It looks like other phones are having the same problem, so I guess it's not an mi4c specific issue... As for Skype, 7.00.0.655 works. See https://community.skype.com/t5/Android/Microphone-not-working-android/td-p/4417354/page/4
Extremely low microphone volume when doing Skype Echo call test on stock MIUI8, but works normally when calling somebody. Weird.
