Well I thought it was time to check out the Asus Web storage app that came bundled with the tab. Opened up the html file that supposedly is going to tell me how to auto backup to Web storage.

They need to change that "Fail!" to something better... even the "Sorry, try again later" I hate so much. At least its not a simple "fail".
Just use Dropbox.

I go to Asus.com, select global support, downloads , find the tf300t tablet, pick android, pick any drop down like firmware and I get a partial page load with no links to use. Tried multiple oses, browsers, and internet connections.

I've had the same issue when going through ASUS' front door. If you go directly to the link (first link when you google ASUS.com TF300T downloads) it appears to work fine.
so last night i was riding in a car and needed to take some notes, popped open my tablet with the keyboard because it was a bumpy road and figured using my fingers on the screen would be hopeless to get the amount of information as quickly as it needed to get put down.. so i tried two different tablet apps i had installed (no internet at the time to find others) and both wouldn't let me use the keyboard to take notes... both wanted stylus/finger mode only... I also tried to use google drive but it wouldn't let me create anything new in offline mode.
any options here folks that one can think of? im not really interested in installing 1000+ notepad apps on the market to find one via brute testing..
thanks.

I just got my TF yesterday, still on ICS and I get the same thing with the stock browser. Haven't tried another browser yet, but it's very alarming when I am browsing with my young daughters and suddenly porn images are loaded
I don't know what it is. How many apps have you got? If you dont have many, perhaps you could list them?

Next to the pre-installed apps only a few games:
Ant Smasher, Angry Birds Space, Animal Match, Four in a line Free, Kids Zoodles and Where's my Water.
I have had all of the games installed on my HTC Sensation for months without any issues, weird that this is happening on this tablet!
I dont have any of those apps and still have these weird problems. It may only be on stock browser but I'm not too sure. It's very weird and strange. Might try contacting Asus about it
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using xda app-developers app
the best way to stop these are rott it then use ad blocker or use firefox and use the adblocker add on , the first works perfect, its what i do and ive not had this problem and the adblocker on my desktop firefox works perfect so that should too
Never had this on Opera and Adaway
I used Chrome, stock browser and Firefox. ICS and JB, never had this issue.

Same here.
I mostly use Chrome, but I also use Opera and Firefox. Never seen a porn site pop up while browsing. I guess I could see that happening if you're just hitting random links from Google searches, but i suspect that would be the case with any browser.

Sounds like that famous reply from the Apple Genius when the wife asked if porn links on her husband's computer could have come from a virus - "Of course they could" - man loyalty wins every time.
This is a terrible issue. When i want random porn i have to search for it, which means its not random anymore. What is random porn anyway? Is it like midget porn?
If not, I'm not interested.

No need to "side load" flash. Just download the apk found in my post here Then install it. Make sure "Unknown sources" is checked unser security settings. Then all you need to do is use a flash enabled web browser. My favorite is xScope pro. But angel, mozilla, and i think boat browser support it.

In just want flash so that my 4 year old daughter could play her Disney games. If I rooted would I be able to use flash? I have rooted phones and tablets before so I am not worried about that aspect of it. Just wanted to keep this none as clean as possible.

No.
Of this current infinity, no. Of the next, who knows, maybe, maybe not.
Have you tried and asked any Windows tablet owners if they can dual boot android? (I have no idea)
Worst case scenario, buy these 3 things: Windows tablet, infinity tablet, superglue
I'm just kidding of course. I'm sure there is something out there that can give you dual boot, I remember seeing a video of a large tablet (more than 10") that could do this, maybe it was even Asus, can't fully remember.

And maybe cannot!!
Really i dont know about that ..
One anther question..
Can i run USB modems on TF700 ?
Just for using the sim card for whatsapp, tango, and viber..
Or should say in the question: how can i run or use simcard on the infinity?
Or also this is impossible and there's no way to use whatsapp, tango, and viber on infinity!

I will be honest, I don't fully understand your question, and could be others aren't either.
Are you speaking of the infinity version with carrier Internet or the wifi version?
I'd say most of us on here have the wifi version, meaning we don't have a sim card.

Maybe if you buy the original USB adapter from Asus and then hook the 3G dongle, otherwise i can't see how you could use it, the tablet alone doesn't have an USB/Micro USB port.

I cannot promise you that this is 100% correct, but I believe it is said in another thread that Windows 8 requires a different type of software at the boot loader / startup level. Boot loaders cant be flashed anymore after the patch from .26 to .30 when ICS was the stock ROM and you cannot downgrade from .30 to .26. That is why it is said to get NVFLASH which could be done on the earlier versions so if a corruption happened it could be restored. Once you are on 4.1.1 or 4.2.1 you are out of luck, like I was.

yeah haha, I'm sure it will have a hefty price tag too!
not to forget mentioning:
what's going to go on with updates to each OS, - how will that be administered?
How slow will it be when asus needs to pair those updates (if it does), i.e. android goes to 4.3, but windows not ready and stays same version.
how much space is left in the device after have Android in there as well as hefty windows OS?
how much support/attention will this get from developers - I don't see many. "bootloader? which one? how?"
Can one run a custom android rom while the other stays stock wondows?
many unknowns here (for us, not general user of course)
still a neat device = yes
do i really also need windows on my tablet, and do I need one larger than 10.1" = no
and asus can remove the 4k hdmi out of the new infinity and focus on I/O, I hope new owners dont get stuck like we did (and tf200 users).
first thing i'll be interested to see are the benchmarks. Thank goodness for sdbags and everyone who make the tablet (tf700) what it should have been, and probably better!
